This is such a wonderful place. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. When a customer has celiac disease, they alert all of the staff on duty right away, so that extra precautions are taken. Almost all items can be made gluten free, and they have a separate dedicated gluten free fryer. I got the chicken fajitas (big portions!) and my wife got the grilled salmon tacos. We were both very full!
We'll definitely be back!

We had such a great experience here last night! The service was incredible - our server went over all the safety precautions and showed us the few items on the menu that weren't GF. Most of the menu is safe though! And they have a dedicated fryer, so for the first time in ages I got to have the chips and salsa at the table. We shared the taquito for an appetizer and I got the steak tacos for an entree, both were so good! Really looking forward to coming back here.

If you’re visiting Chicago, this place is a must. The food was amazing, and I felt very safe eating here. Everything but one of the sauces and one of the dishes is gluten free, and they’re careful about keeping everything separate. Every staff member we interacted with was knowledgeable. I got the chicken fajitas and the portions were huge. I highly recommend eating here!

Staff was very knowledgeable and pointed out everything on the menu that was gluten free. I think all but a handful of items were GF. They are also serious about preventing cross contact. The carne asada tacos are great.

I go to this restaurant at least twice a month. The entire menu but about 3 dishes and the mole sauce are gluten free. The owners are extremely conscientious to food allergies. All servers will tell you the few things that are not gf. The physical menus are not marked gf but the online menu is. I have never had a problem here in the year I have been going here. The food is delicious, there isn’t a bad thing there to eat! Highly recommended even amongst non-gf family and friends!

So fun to find a safe and tasty “real” Mexican place to eat (vs just tacos or chipotle type place). I have eaten here twice and they were really careful both times. I felt fine afterward and would eat here again!

Safe and excellent, authentic Mexican food. Husband and wife owned and couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. Delicious everything and they only have a couple things that aren’t gluten free. Even the chips are in dedicated fryer. Salmon, steak, tamales, enchiladas, etc.

Aside from the GF part, let me just say this was great food overall and the whole family left happy. You won’t be disappointed.
As others have said, nearly the whole menu was GF and the waiter, after a quick trip back to the kitchen, was able to confirm and would note for the chef that we had an “allergy”.
Our celiac kiddo picked the tacquitos, which were on the appetizer menu but the waiter offered to turn it into an entree with rice and beans. Offer accepted. Plate devoured and no post-meal issues!
I picked the Dobladas Potosinas which were stuffed tortillas topped with two kinds of sauce. Tasty. Underneath it all were perfectly cooked black beans (which I prefer over refried any day).
Our other kiddo devoured his enchiladas so I guess those were ok.
My wife had the chicken tinga tacos and the platter was huge -- she couldn't finish the third taco.
Topping it all off we added a side of plantains which was another great choice. This place might not have any bad choices. Definitely worth checking out.

Absolutely incredible. All but 3 things on the menu are GF, so very little chance of cross contamination. Dedicated fryer, so chips and fried plantains are safe.
Beyond that, the food is crazy delicious. I went with 6 people, and we all got something different. Everything was outstanding. Best carne asada I’ve ever had. Chilean sea bass, ribs, tacos…all delicious. BYOB too!
This is now one of my favorite restaurants!

Almost everything on the menu is gluten free and the food is delicious! This has become one of our favorite places to dine the last few months and we can’t wait to eat outdoors when the weather gets nice. Dedicated fryer and the chips are good. BYOB but you can buy margarita mix that is really good. I’m also dairy free and they do a great job accommodating that restriction as well. Love the veggie fajitas and the veggie enchiladas with Ranchera sauce. Family members have also enjoyed chicken fajitas and the steak entrees.

Fine, delicious Mexican food safe for those with Celiac Disease! Most on the menu is gluten free, only two items are not gluten free. Fryer is dedicated and so the tortilla chips are gluten free.

Knowledgeable and friendly family owned restaurant. Most of the menu is gluten free. Great for those with celiac. Our new go to for Mexican or Mexican-ish as they call it. Highly recommend.
