Amazing fried chicken and very accommodating and knowledgeable staff. Wait staff verified two things with me directly from the chef, who personally made my meal and made sure ingredients were safe. Felt very confident eating here and did not get sick after!

Friends - if you have wanted gluten free friend chicken - this is the crunchiest - most tender- juicy chicken you could want!!!! Marinated / brined for 27 hours - free range no antibiotics chicken - and the sides! The street corn and fried Brussel Sprouts!!! I brought my dear friend to share my gluten free order and she was blown away! They take celiac disease seriously! They have a location in the Venetian in Las Vegas too!!!

Wonderful crunchy fried chicken - like all the parts not just tenders. Satisfying southern cooking in a warm and festive space. Ribs are pretty tasty too and their presentation is one of a kind. GF items are listed clearly in menu and some salads can be easily modified to accommodate.

Waffles are not GF available however despite some rumors otherwise. Chicken is fried in separate fryer which is amazing. That said the regular fries aren’t listed as GF. I didn’t ask if they could do them in the chicken fryer but hope someone asks next time they’re there.

I have only been to the Vegas location, but once I heard they opened one here in LA I called to see if they took the same precautions as the Vegas location, and they do! Separate fryer (that takes about 30 to cook in) and delicious chicken and waffles!

I’ve been to the Vegas location probably a half dozen times. Every time I go I make a point to visit that restaurant so when I saw it was coming to Dallas I was so excited! A lot of new restaurants take a while to perfect things but Yardbird Dallas is just as good if not better than their other locations. The food is excellent! The GF options are kind of limited but if you’re going here you better be going for the fried chicken! It’s exceptional, cooked to perfection and hard to put down! They can even do GF waffles which are made on dedicated equipment. The GF frier is also dedicated to ensure the safety of their guests. I have a super severe allergy and felt full but great after! Service was top notch as well! Our waitress Cathy was attentive and knowledgeable. She helped me put something custom together for my meal which I really appreciated. Brunch, lunch or dinner this place is my new Dallas fav! I’m so excited they finally started offering takeout! YOU MUST GO!

By far the best GF fried chicken you will ever have in your life. I always went to the one in Las Vegas and was beyond to excited to learn that it was coming to Dallas.

Eat here, you will not regret it (well, your waistline might regret it a bit).

PRICE GOUGING! GREED! Staying in Vegas. Was very excited to be able to have fried chicken. Walked 45 mins to get there. Its was Superbowl Sunday. They required I spend $ 100.00 per person in my party (3 of us) to be able to stay. It was 15 mins before the game, and the place was half empty. I will never return, GREED!

THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN IVE EVER HAD IN 15 years! The manager came over and noticed I ate here 2 days in a row and he explained how they only use free range chicken - that they brine it for over 24 hours - that they use a $50k piece of kitchen equipment to pressure cook it!!! Often I see things I can’t eat and I go home and try and make it myself later. I CAN’T make chicken like this!! There is a reason it has won so many awards!!! I also looooved the street corn! The manager Greg Thomas here was amazing and the staff is so positive! There is a location in Beverly Hills, and I’ll excited to eat there on my business trip there next week!!!!!

Absolutely incredible. Possibly the best fried chicken I’ve EVER had, gluten free or not. If you’re in Vegas you HAVE to eat here. The service was phenomenal and the food was so, so, so, so good. Grits were also amazing. When you get to the hosts stand they ask about allergies and I asked about the GF fried chicken there to make sure they could do it today (just because I wasn’t sure if it was always an option or if it was too early since we got there right when they opened), and the server came to our table already aware of my allergy and knowing I was wanting the fried chicken and put the chicken in right away so that it would be done at the same time as my husbands gluten food. My husband also tasted my chicken next to his regular chicken and said they were pretty much identical. They were super accommodating with our bags and my allergies and the time it took to make my chicken. Please eat here. Also the honey hot sauce is GF and the best.

Omg!!! The best fried chicken I've had in my life! Even before being gluten free. My husband ate it and said it's the best he's ever had and he's not even gluten free!! We also tried the devil eggs, which were incredible. Also the street corn was one of the best things I've ever put in my belly 😬. We came Friday night for dinner and we are back for lunch on Sunday, it's that good. Very knowledgeable and GF. Separate fryer top fry the gf chicken. If you're in Vegas, definitely make this one of your stops!!!❤

We had a wonderful meal here! When I mentioned celiac to the hostess, she confirmed that they offer gluten free fried chicken that is prepared in a dedicated fryer. She also said it takes about 30 minutes to prepare and if we knew we wanted chicken she would have the chef start some. She checked on us several times throughout our meal. Our waitress was fantastic and made several gf recommendations. The owner came by to chat when he heard we hadn’t had gf fried chicken in 10 years. It was so nice to be able to order fried chicken at a restaurant. We also had the crispy Brussels sprouts and the grits. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Ate here and had the fried chicken and crispy brussel sprouts and creme brûlée and it was amazing. They said they had a separate fryer but that they also changed the oil out as well so if you want the chicken to order right away because it is a process. They also warn you at checking that there is a lot of flour around so their is cross contamination risk. I did great and I am super sensitive. I never get to go to a restaurant like this and it was great food and great experience.

The gluten free fried chicken is amazing. It’s so much like regular fried chicken that I felt the need to verify that it was actually the GF version. We also had the grits and Brussels sprouts (both naturally GF) as well as the fried green tomato “BLT” appetizer (don’t be put off by the name; there is no bread, it’s more like a BLT stack). Everything we had was absolutely amazing and I didn’t get sick at all. As other reviews say, order the chicken when you first sit down. That’s what we did, and also got an appetizer, and we didn’t feel like we waited long for the chicken. Oh, and make sure you try the honey hot sauce with the fried chicken!

Ordered the fried chicken and the waitress told us it would take 25-30 minutes . She ran off to place the order with the kitchen and came back explained what other options on the menu were gf. She left - and about one minute later the chicken arrived! The kitchen had been getting a lot of orders all day so the gas one ready to go! It came before our side dishes. It the server rushed those through and they didn’t take too long. Chicken was delicious! Large portion (we shared it along with the cucumber salad and the cheese/watermelon appetizer). Server was excellent and very knowledgeable. Don’t miss it. And we couldn’t get reservations but at 5:00 we had no wait and lots of empty tables.

While the gluten-free fried chicken was amazingly tasty, and they have a dedicated fryer for it and all of their fried foods that can be made gluten-free, The kitchen staff still managed to screw up my order twice! They brought out regular fried chicken to me two times. First time I was in the restroom and my husband realized it because it came out way faster than they said it would (25 minute wait time) and The second time I picked up a leg and the waiter ran over and grabbed it from me right before I took a bite! Just so you know what to expect when you eat here, the gluten-free fried chicken is much lighter in color and has a thinner coating than the regular one. It was well worth the very long wait for my food because it was extremely tasty! And I didn’t get sick.
