The Yardbird is a nice place at the Venetian hotel. I had the gluten free chicken and waffles. It was the best gluten free fried chicken I ever ate. The portions are gigantic. It’s enough food for two people.
Hands down BEST gf fried chicken I’ve ever had!!! Juicy, fall off the bone, flavorful and tons of food!! I got fried chicken and waffles. It came with 4 pieces of fried chicken…drumstick, thigh, wing and breast, a large portion of spiced watermelon and 4 thick, fluffy mini waffles. Their bourbon maple syrup is gf as well or you can get regular maple syrup. I got ranch dressing on the side for my chicken and it was an amazing, thick, creamy house made dressing. I cannot say enough about the food here! You would never know any of it is gf. I will definitely be back!
Only 2nd time in 25 years of being Celiac I’ve had Southern fried chicken and it was excellent. Waiter explained the GF waffles are smaller and round. Person who delivered food confirmed Gluten free before I asked. Very noisy

What a delicious chicken dinner. I didn’t want to get the half of chicken so they let me get just one piece. Then I ordered the fingerling potatoes which were so good. Don’t forget to get the fantastic key lime dessert. Food came out fast. It is a loud restaurant however.
Took my celiac son for dinner here. We shared a chicken and waffle dinner which was more than enough for two. Chicken was very tasty with rice flour breading I believe. The waffles were nice and light too. We had an exceptional server who brought my son a free key lime taster desert also gluten free. Safe place to eat with no issues.
Once again, fantastic experience. They have a separate waffle maker and frier and are very conscientious of necessary practices to keep gf folks safe.
My daughter has a severe case of celiac and we were defiantly worried she might get sick. Thankfully when we tried the food she never got sick. The fried chicken was AMAZING and my daughter loved it soo much. The waiter was very knowledgeable and made sure she did not get sick. They had a separate fryer for her and I honestly think the gluten free one was better than the normal. 🤷🏻♀😁😁 if you ever go to Vegas and don't know what to eat, this is a MUST GO TO RESTAURANT!!!
I am not one to always write reviews because I feel like the other reviews usually cover it. However this was one of the best GF dining experiences I have ever had. It is a total must in you are GF in Vegas.
Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. The food and the service were both exceptional. Being coeliac was just so normal for the server, she made me feel so comfortable. Excellent experience.
I had the gluten free chicken and waffles and got extremely sick within 15 minutes of leaving. It must has been cross contamination of some sort because the food was obviously gluten free. I did forget to ask if they had a dedicated waffle iron. Possibly the cause?
My Favorite restaurant at the Venetian. Ate here 3 times and no gluten reactions at all. Great food, and party of 1-2 can just eat at the bar. Highly recommend the salmon with side of Brussels sprouts. Staff was attentive to the gluten thing and they communicated with the chef.
My husband got to eat real fried chicken AND fries… AND waffles (yes he ate everything he could get his hands on because he literally never gets these things!) it was truly a wonderful experience and meal… we had good drinks, the jalapeno bacon deviled eggs are amazing and GF! and the other 2 of us shared a salad and the lobster mac! It was sooooo good.! Service was amazing….

We’ve been coming to Yardbird for years upon learning that not only do they have a variety of tasty GF options, that includes fried chicken, that is fried in it’s own fryer.
While you have to order either a half or full chicken, my non-GF husband happily has it every time, and after the first bite ALWAYS says “You would never know that was GF.”
Upon welcoming us, our server confirmed with me before I could even state my allergy, that I had one. He was quick to confirm what was GF, including some new additions to the menu since our last visit. Not only did he bring the lovely sauces and syrup, he also brought plain maple syrup since some folks can’t do bourbon and their house syrup is a bourbon maple. Food runner also confirmed GF everything upon table delivery.
Don’t dismay about dessert either - the Grandma’s Key Lime Pie is GF, made with in house GF graham crackers for the crust.

Safe and tasty food. Before we were even seated, they asked if we had any allergies and they marked celiac on our ticket. Every person who came to our table mentioned us being gluten free.
We opted for the chicken and waffles. Tasted great and no reaction. We were dining with someone who ordered gluten and there was no cross contamination. All condiments brought were announced gluten free by our waiter.
First question we were asked is if there were any allergies. A server than came and explained what on the menu was gf. Chicken and Waffles were so tasty. Excellent service. No reactions.
The amount of gluten free options is amazing and staff are wonderful.
We just came here to see Brian, our bartender. for celiac safe chicken & waffles….they have dedicated menu items labeled GF. The waffles taste like cake, and the chicken is amazing … paired with honey bourbon syrup and honey hot sauce… it’s a must try!
The gf waffles were so good 😍😍 and they give you like an entire half of a chicken fried with it. It was a ton of food.

The fried chicken is expensive but it’s Vegas and it’s SO worth it! I absolutely loved it! The breading was so delicious! I also had the deviled eggs which were also very good. I did repeatedly ask each person about the dedicated fryer and confirm many times about the flour being gluten free!
I was excited to eat at Yardbird in The Venetian and it did not disappoint. I told the waiter I was celiac and he gladly walked me through the entire menu.
I started with the deviled eggs. They were very tasty.
I ordered the chicken and waffles because it came so highly recommended. It was amazing!! There is a lot of food in one portion, so I shared with my non-celiac husband. He said it was better than any regular fried chicken he has ever had.
The meal comes with bourbon maple syrup and hot honey syrup. The waiter also brought me regular maple syrup because he knows some people with celiac disease are sensitive to bourbon.
We loved it so much that we’ll be going back again before we leave town. I’m going to go with the waiter’s recommendation and have the crème brûlée waffles.

Ok, omg, my Celiac friends, you got to try this. Amazing, safe, highly knowledgeable servers, delicious food! Chicken and waffles?? Man this was great! Warning, huge portion, split it! So good. And key lime bar for dessert! Just great!
They have gluten free fried chicken, pancakes, waffles, and more! Definitely recommend, felt very safe.
Our server was fantastic and very knowledgeable, confirmed both dishes were gluten free and made sure that we knew the kitchen had confirmed. Fried chicken and waffles were amazing and the creme brulee waffle was also spectacular. Would for sure eat here again. Also, they don't add a charge for gf!!!
Wait staff was wonderful. Everything clearly marked. Had gluten free chicken and waffles which were delicious and no reaction. Was told fryers and waffle maker all dedicated to gluten free. Been here twice and such a wonderful treat. Will be back!
Had fried chicken, which I probably haven’t had for over a decade. It was delicious. They were very knowledgeable, have a separate fryer, and take pride in offering GF items. Not cheap, but highly recommend!
They were very aware of GF safety.
I was there for a conference and the server noted none of the food out buffet style was safe, so they made me some GF chicken and waffles special.

I never get fried chicken. It has been years. But this place can give me fried chicken. Very well cooked and plentiful portions. I could not eat it all. I ordered the chicken and waffles. They were very informative walking me through the menu. I also ordered the GF fries. The fries are great but a small portion for $15. I won’t justify that again but they were delicious.
This restaurant was worth the wait. You should make a reservation. It is in the Venetian Hotel. I did not do my homework though and the bill came to almost $400 CDN for my 2 teens and myself. The fried chicken was to die for. They did have a dedicated fryer.
Delicious fried chicken and waffles. Server was knowledgeable and the menu is clear. The bacon jam deviled eggs were so good. Salad was just fine, nothing to write home about, but there was so much food that I wouldn’t get it next time. Two of us shared the chicken and waffles and it was more than enough.
This place was very yummy! I am a symptomatic celiac and I am a vegetarian, I didn’t get sick at all! I ordered a side of the mashed potatoes, which were great and the wedge salad with their ranch which was one of the best ranches I’ve ever had! I really loved this meal even if it was simple!
Such a good meal for gf ! Split the whole fried chicken with one other person and it was delicious!!! Deviled eggs were great tooo!! Sat a bar, the bartender was super knowledgeable at gf options!!
The best meal I’ve had in a long time! The chicken and waffles were incredible. The server was knowledgeable about gluten and kitchen takes cross-contamination seriously (separate fryer and waffle iron). Highly recommend!

Had a great experience here for dinner. All of the staff were amazing and very knowledgeable. They all kept saying how excited they were for me to be able to have chicken and waffles. They had the kitchen make my husband’s meal gf as well so we could share, which was very sweet. Our server, Lawrence, was very fun and helpful. He spent time chatting with us and never made us feel rushed. The food was absolutely delicious!!
Wow! The gluten free/dairy free chicken and waffles were spectacular. My gf (non gluten free) was along and the waiter told her to order it gf as he said in his opinion their gluten free chicken is better and crisper. The service overall was great and so was the food.
The best fried chicken and waffles! I tried this place based on previous reviews. I hadn’t had fried chicken in over 10 years! It was perfectly seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also delicious and came with bourbon maple syrup - or regular maple syrup if you like. I chose the bourbon maple syrup and it didn’t disappoint. They use a dedicated fryer and GF flour for the chicken. I felt very safe eating there. The server was very knowledgeable about celiac. There is also a key lime bar for dessert that is also GF - it is so good! The restaurant is in the Venetian Hotel. It’s a little pricey but worth every penny. If you’re in Vegas, you must eat here at least once. I will definitely be back!

This place is amazing!! The fried chicken and waffles are GF! I’m really sensitive and had no reaction. My husband is not GF, but tried it and said he couldn’t tell it’s GF, it’s just good fried chicken. Highly recommend!! Yardbird does a phenomenal job!
Absolutely fantastic! Dedicated fryer, knowledge of cross contamination. The floor manager Paige came to talk with me, she was so caring and thoughtful. Everything was so tasty and filling, I would go again in a heartbeat.
I could’ve cried, it was so good. I haven’t had a meal like that (in a restaurant) in many moons. The chicken and waffles do not say GF on the menu but just tell your server and the kitchen will make them GF and in a dedicated fryer. The inside was juicy and the outside crispy enough to eat the skin. The rice flour waffles with the bourbon maple syrup were delightful! We also had a side of fries with house made ranch, which were perfect, and the southern street corn, which was just ok. My husband and I ate family style and it was more than enough food. We could’ve done without the corn actually. The server brought out a complimentary sample size of their GF key lime pie and I’m going back today to get a full sized order! Overall a perfect meal that will be the highlight of my Vegas trip!
Could not have had a better experience staff so kind and knowledgeable food delicious. My husband tried my Gf fried chicken and said it is almost the same as his it was sooooo good. A must visit
The chicken and waffles were amazing! They also have crème brûlée waffles and GF key lime pie with a marzipan crust. They no longer will substitute the GF waffles with the chicken for the crème brûlée waffles. That will have to be another meal. They ask at the hostess stand if there are any food allergies in your party and put it on your table in the POS system for the server.
Yard bird food was amazing and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.
I subbed the cheese waffle in the chicken and waffle for the crème brûlée waffle ($5 extra) and it was one of the most amazing things of all time.
Have been here a few times and never get sick. Great option!

Gf fried chicken and waffles is always a win! An okay amount of other gf options but that is definitely the highlight. GF stuff is marked on the menu and knowledgeable staff. I recommend if you’re really missing fried chicken. Other than that though, nothing super special. Rest of the food was decent.
I had Yardbird in Vegas and it was hands down one of the best GF spots around + the service was amazing. I went to this location when I got back because I was craving it. We sat at the bar so our server was the bar tender (woman). I got a drink and asked for new equipment due to celiac so she cleaned the equipment before using it for my drink. When we were ordering, I asked once again to make a note that I have a hyper sensitivity to gluten and she rolled her eyes and said “I’m aware of what a gluten allergy is. You don’t need to keep reminding me.” The mashed potatoes are NOT marked GF so I asked if they can be made GF to which she answered “potatoes are gluten free.” At this point, I was confused as to why this woman thought she could belittle me when I’m the one with celiac and well aware of what contains and does not contain gluten. I asked if they had a dedicated fryer to which she looked away and responded that the staff know how to handle. Anyways, had a terrible reaction afterwards but that wasn’t as bad as the server I had. 1/10 service. My husband was contemplating telling the manager about our experience but we decided not to.
Gluten free chicken and waffles - such a dream! This place is a little pricey but the food and service exceeded my expectations. There was something for everyone in my family of 5 (kids ages 14, 12, 10).
