Yardbirds is a wonderful place service was excellent, food was wonderful. They have dedicated work spaces, fryers and waffle maker. I had the chicken and waffles- first time I’ve had fried chicken in years! I would definitely come here again.

Staff seemed knowledgeable. They said all the right things and answer all the questions. Server did warn us that because it is a shared kitchen, there always is the risk of cross contamination. But we were also told they use a exclusive fryer and gf utensils. Despite all that, all our food had gluten.

The best GF fried chicken that hubby has since being diagnosed with Celiac. I was impressed as well since it’s quite easy to burn the GF breading if you don’t pay attention or don’t change your oil. We ordered a full fried chicken which came with watermelon salad and GF waffles. (Believe the GF waffles are smaller round in shape). Had Mexican corn and mashed potatoes as sides. Both were great. No issues for hubby afterwards. Waitress did warn us it was a mixed kitchen although all GF items prepped in a separate area. To be conservative we opted for the regular maple syrup and not the bourbon one. It was hubby’s bday so they gave him a GF key lime cheesecake for dessert. I had a few bites. 😋

Have celiac. The waiter seemed decently informed. We were hoping to get pasta or a hamburger but they had no gluten free options for either. Went with the chicken and waffles. They were delicious. I still didn’t feel entirely safe eating here. They were sure if the syrup was GF. I would prob eat here again it you’d have to be ok with limited options as there are only 2-3 safe dishes.

My daughter is celiac and we noticed the waiter...I am GF. We had the GF chicken and waffles plus the street corn. It was absolutely one for the best meals I have ever had and I have eaten both GF and regular food all over the world! The chicken and waffles were AMAZING. Waiter was very knowledgeable and helped me with my many allergies. The hot honey was so good with the chicken. This place is amazing and fast! Went twice and our server remembered us and was amazing. The fried chicken was very good. The waffles were amazing and unlike any other waffles I’ve ever had. The price here is steep, 117 for two of us getting fried chicken with no alcoholic drinks. They do add a tip on themselves though. But it’s worth it!

All I can say is holy cow! The gluten free fried chicken made me a happy fat kid again. I haven't had fried chicken in over 10 years! The servers knowledge was above and beyond and went over how they use a dedicated fryer and area to prepare. I said I wish I could eat their fries and he immediately knew I could and that it was also in a dedicated fryer. It was absolutely delicious and no reaction at all. Easily my favorite in Vegas.

We ordered the deviled eggs, gluten free chicken and waffles, and the sweet tea braised short rib. The server assured me they have never had an issue with celiac people getting sick. That certainly isn't true. I can't say what got me, but within 20 minutes I was super sick. Very heavy cross contamination or they straight up fed me gluten. I had a really violent reaction. I will never eat here again and would caution those with celiac, this kitchen is not careful enough to safely feed you.

GF Fried Chicken and Waffles with GF Key Lime Pie! Amazing!

Ate here and had the fried chicken and crispy brussel sprouts and creme brûlée and it was amazing. They said they had a separate fryer but that they also changed the oil out as well so if you want the chicken to order right away because it is a process. They also warn you at checking that there is a lot of flour around so their is cross contamination risk. I did great and I am super sensitive. I never get to go to a restaurant like this and it was great food and great experience.

Update 2021 back and got a to go order of fried chicken and waffles and watermelon and crispy brussel sprouts. Amazing again!

Update Dec 2022. Ate brunch here and had chicken and waffles. Still good and still dedicated frier. They were much faster with service than previous times but it was lunch and not dinner.

They were very knowledgeable about cross contamination. The chef came out to talk to me and let me know that they make the breading and doe on the same day as the gluten stuff, but the flour never crosses. The only thing would be it could be in the air. I still got the chicken and waffles and didn’t feel or get sick. There was a dedicated fryer, they change their gloves, and they brought my plate out last to avoid contamination or confusion.

Went here and ordered gf fried chicken and waffles. The server was very knowledgeable of risk and cross contact. Unfortunately I tested the food in my nima and it showed up "gluten found". The manager came back and explained that there is still risk because it's a shared space with flour for their gluten chicken. Told me how it changes celiacs lives how good it tastes. The server asked if we wanted to go through the menu and find a safer option with less cross contact possiblity, which was very kind, but I decided I wanted to be better off safe than sorry and went to a different spot.

Wish I could have tried. May have been a false positive, on the Nima, but I didn't want to risk it. Every other restaurant if gone to has been cleared safe through testing.

I have Celiac and went to Yardbird because they have gluten free fried chicken and waffles. It is very pricey ($80 for a full bird.) Had to get a different syrup as the bourbon syrup contains gluten. The waiter bragged about how seriously they take cross contamination and that they have a dedicated fryer.

While the food tasted good, I had glutening symptoms within the hour. I did have an iced coffee an hour before dinner, so I'm not 100% positive that the gluten reaction came from cross contamination here or that it wasn't a cross reactivity reaction to the coffee.

Yardbird was a great find located near the Venetian/Palazzo. Several gluten free items marked on the menu. I had to try the fried chicken and waffles because those are such a rare find. They did not disappoint!

They do try their best to do gluten free. If you are on a gluten free diet by choice and for non medical reasons you’re fine but cross contamination is big there. My Nima gluten free tester found gluten in their gf chicken but didn’t in the gluten free waffles. So their gluten free fryer is cross contaminated.

Yardbird was one of the restaurants I was most looking forward to visiting while my husband and I were in Las Vegas. Overall, the food was good but expensive ($40 for chicken and waffles). The only thing that threw me for a little bit of a loop was that our waiter immediately told me there were no guarantees for “gluten free” due to the shared kitchen space. They do have a dedicated fryer, but he told me there’s no guarantee as to how the kitchen staff handles the food. This was a red flag as I’ve been several other establishments where, despite having shared kitchen space, steps are taken to ensure minimal risk of cross contamination. I did end up deciding to try it because I was starving (Vegas was severely lacking in safe options) and felt ok after, but was definitely nervous.

Had the best experience! Walked in for lunch and had salad and GF chicken and waffles! It was amazing! The alcoholic drinks were also great. Definitely will return.

Yardbird was fantastic. The crime brûlée waffles were so good! The server handled all GF questions while ordering. The manager later came over as well to discuss the kitchen protocols.
