Tasty options. Not a super extensive menu but plenty so you don’t feel like a stand out. Kind of odd, they asked about our gluten sensitivity when we checked in but didn’t seem to do anything with it (server didn’t check on gluten sensitivity etc). Would recommend.
Omg!!! The best fried chicken I've had in my life! Even before being gluten free. My husband ate it and said it's the best he's ever had and he's not even gluten free!! We also tried the devil eggs, which were incredible. Also the street corn was one of the best things I've ever put in my belly 😬. We came Friday night for dinner and we are back for lunch on Sunday, it's that good. Very knowledgeable and GF. Separate fryer top fry the gf chicken. If you're in Vegas, definitely make this one of your stops!!!❤️
We had a wonderful meal here! When I mentioned celiac to the hostess, she confirmed that they offer gluten free fried chicken that is prepared in a dedicated fryer. She also said it takes about 30 minutes to prepare and if we knew we wanted chicken she would have the chef start some. She checked on us several times throughout our meal. Our waitress was fantastic and made several gf recommendations. The owner came by to chat when he heard we hadn’t had gf fried chicken in 10 years. It was so nice to be able to order fried chicken at a restaurant. We also had the crispy Brussels sprouts and the grits. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Ate here and had the fried chicken and crispy brussel sprouts and creme brûlée and it was amazing. They said they had a separate fryer but that they also changed the oil out as well so if you want the chicken to order right away because it is a process. They also warn you at checking that there is a lot of flour around so their is cross contamination risk. I did great and I am super sensitive. I never get to go to a restaurant like this and it was great food and great experience.
I picked this place based on others reviews and it did not disappoint! The gluten free fried chicken takes a half an hour but is totally worth the wait! Also had the crispy honey glazed Brussels sprouts, cheddar grits and coffee creme brûlée - all gluten free! My husband and I shared it all family style and he (not gluten free) agreed that the chicken was amazing. The entire meal was so good! The service and atmosphere were also fantastic!
So. Freaking. Good. The food was amazing. Our waitress was incredible and very knowledgeable. The fried chicken was the best I’ve ever had (not even counting the fact that it was gluten free). We also had the deconstructed blt and it was amazing. The size was huge too. I’m highly sensitive to gluten and everything was great. Nothing but rave reviews. Only downside was the price.
Super cool vibe, the waitstaff was really nice as well. They don’t list gf on their menu, but they have a lot of gluten free options and use a separate frier. I loved the fried chicken and they make their own ranch dressing which they bring with their French fries. I’ll definitely go back anytime I’m in town.
So good! Amazing fried chicken. My BF and I split a half chicken and fries. I also tried the Brussels - so good. And they can do the fried green tomato grilled instead of fried. It was really tasty. Waitress was really knowledgeable. Gf chicken is cooked in a separate frier.
The gluten free fried chicken is amazing. It’s so much like regular fried chicken that I felt the need to verify that it was actually the GF version. We also had the grits and Brussels sprouts (both naturally GF) as well as the fried green tomato “BLT” appetizer (don’t be put off by the name; there is no bread, it’s more like a BLT stack). Everything we had was absolutely amazing and I didn’t get sick at all. As other reviews say, order the chicken when you first sit down. That’s what we did, and also got an appetizer, and we didn’t feel like we waited long for the chicken. Oh, and make sure you try the honey hot sauce with the fried chicken!
Ordered the fried chicken and the waitress told us it would take 25-30 minutes . She ran off to place the order with the kitchen and came back explained what other options on the menu were gf. She left - and about one minute later the chicken arrived! The kitchen had been getting a lot of orders all day so the gas one ready to go! It came before our side dishes. It the server rushed those through and they didn’t take too long. Chicken was delicious! Large portion (we shared it along with the cucumber salad and the cheese/watermelon appetizer). Server was excellent and very knowledgeable. Don’t miss it. And we couldn’t get reservations but at 5:00 we had no wait and lots of empty tables.
Had fried chicken and fries. It was excellent and I didn’t get sick. The staff double check everything which is excellent. There is a longer wait for gluten free but it was definitely worth it. It’s not cheap, we had only a main and a beer and it came to $85, but worth it for the food!
While the gluten-free fried chicken was amazingly tasty, and they have a dedicated fryer for it and all of their fried foods that can be made gluten-free, The kitchen staff still managed to screw up my order twice! They brought out regular fried chicken to me two times. First time I was in the restroom and my husband realized it because it came out way faster than they said it would (25 minute wait time) and The second time I picked up a leg and the waiter ran over and grabbed it from me right before I took a bite! Just so you know what to expect when you eat here, the gluten-free fried chicken is much lighter in color and has a thinner coating than the regular one. It was well worth the very long wait for my food because it was extremely tasty! And I didn’t get sick.
Although our server called the food “gluten friendly”, she was very knowledgeable about what could be prepared GF. We ordered GF fried chicken and french fries that were prepared in a dedicated frier. The honey brussels sprouts were the best ever. We had a wonderful meal.
The staff told me there was a separate Fryer and that if I used a tool to measure the gluten, it sometimes reads that there is because of the flour in the air. I ordered and began to eat and it was incredible tasting, so yummy; HOWEVER, not long after eating I began to get the horribly intense gluten cramps and could barley walk or breath. I haven’t had an episode that bad in about 4 years so I DO NOT recommend them for GF food - but regular food for non celiacs 👍🏻
Best fried chicken we have had since being diagnosed with celiac! While we waited for a table, the host came over and went through the menu with us and told us what they could accommodate. Our server was also very careful and knowledgeable, even double checking on a couple of things the host had told us. It's a little pricey, but well worth it.
I came here knowing what I wanted - GF fried chicken. My husband order the "normal version" and tasted some of mine and could tell right away it was different from his! They also use seperate GF fryer for the chicken according from my server when I asked. I also, for the first time, order brussels sprouts! It tasted so good.. its coated in some spicy honey. If you have some extra $$$, stop here!
The server clearly knew what could and couldn't be prepared gluten free. Ended up with the fried chicken (how could I pass it up?) and the crispy Brussels sprouts. Delicious! Everything was great though the sprouts could have used a little acid to cut the sweetness a little since they're roasted in honey. Everyone seemed knowledgeable and took care of me. Time will tell if I get sick, and I'll update my review if I do.
I've eaten here twice - most recently this past weekend. The gluten free fried chicken is only made better by the Joseph James gluten free beer they have to go with it!! Server knowledgeable both times we went. Delicious and no sickness whatsoever. And the fries....SO GOOD!!!!
It’s not too often that you find a restaurant this accommodating to gluten free needs. I found the staff very knowledgeable and attentive. They have a gluten-free flour mix and separate fryer so that you can have their fried chicken as well as other items you wouldn’t normally be able to have. They did tell us up front they had an open kitchen and there was a risk of contamination from the flour being in the air. Because of that reason, I can’t say it’s celiac friendly. We were lucky though, we took a chance and it paid off. Food was delicious!
Wonderful crunchy fried chicken - like all the parts not just tenders. Satisfying southern cooking in a warm and festive space. Ribs are pretty tasty too and their presentation is one of a kind. GF items are listed clearly in menu and some salads can be easily modified to accommodate. Waffles are not GF available however despite some rumors otherwise. Chicken is fried in separate fryer which is amazing. That said the regular fries aren’t listed as GF. I didn’t ask if they could do them in the chicken fryer but hope someone asks next time they’re there.
I have only been to the Vegas location, but once I heard they opened one here in LA I called to see if they took the same precautions as the Vegas location, and they do! Separate fryer (that takes about 30 to cook in) and delicious chicken and waffles!
