First time back to FMB since the hurricane. Moved locations to Times Square. Man running register said they had white corn tortillas and grilled chicken. I got my celiac one taco with chicken. The tacos wrap broke so he ate the insides and was fine.

I asked if they had a gluten free menu and all the man said was “we have corn shells” I would not trust if you have actual celiac

They have corn hard shells for tacos and corn chips for nachos. Both are delicious and they have a friendly staff too.

stopped by today because of all the awesome reviews and was told that they sometimes fry the flour tortilla bowls in there but because the fryer is over 300 degrees it kills everything. I told him it didn’t work that way. He refused to listen so I walked away. I wouldn’t trust this place ever!

Very good tacos! Ate there a couple of times and didn't get sick!

I'm a very sensitive celiac and had no issue with their chicken taco salad. The corn tortilla bowl was delicious and the fryers are safe. I also ate off my husband's chicken nachos with no issue. The chef was knowledgeable about what items were GF and showed me the GF labels before I even asked to see the packaging. However, the other staff was unaware, so ask to speak to the cook/chef. The ground beef is not GF. Open till 3am-- go get you some tacos!
their homemade chips and tortillas are gf and since they don't fry anything except the chips and tortillas their fryer is also safe! My tacos were amazing and the beans and rice were the best I've ever had. I have celiac and did not get sick and to be honest it was so delicious I felt certain it was not gf and was expecting to get sick! The place is just an outdoor hut with all outdoor seating and limited options. Cool, beachy atmosphere.
