Wife has celiac so we have to be really careful about where she eats. This place has wonderful gluten free options and their staff has clearly been trained in cross contamination as they will warn you which options are likely for CC. Avoid the fried foods if you have celiac or gluten sensitivity because they're made in the same fryer as the gluten ones.

Food was delicious. I tend to like “real” sushi, verses rolls so was a little disappointed they don’t offer my favorites like Japanese snapper and sea urchin, BUT the quality of the rolls was very tasty and the waitress was extremely knowledgeable about gluten and made a point to tell the sushi bar to prepare mine separately. Great quality, delicious, and I did not get sick. The waitress even gave me a free sake shot because I couldn’t eat the fortune cookie.

Food is tasty but the portions are very small.
The Manager is VERY knowledgeable. They use new woks for every meal they make. I have a child that has a gluten, dairy and sesame allergy. They were able to accommodate and make sure the food was cooked properly. Let the manager, waiter, and kitchen manager of your allergies and they are more than happy to help! On top of that, the food is AMAZING! We are steamed rice and chicken grilled in vegetable oil.

Have eaten here a dozen times with no problem. But management has changed or something is awry and it’s no longer worth the risk. Our waitress did not have any idea what the flour they use to coat the chicken was made from. I had to finally ask her to go ask the chef which she begrudgingly did. She reported back that the chicken is coated in FLOUR. I told her that we had already established that but that she was going to find out if it’s wheat flour or rice or tapioca or what. It became clear that I was an enormous annoyance to her and that she was completely clueless. We should have walked out then. Nevertheless, I elected to order the lowest risk sushi roll. My gluten sensitive son got a GF beef and broccoli stir fry. My son did not eat his broccoli so I did but was violently ill by the time we got home. I assume they used regular soy sauce in his dish that was supposed to be GF. After the initial poisoning, my joints were horribly inflamed for 3 weeks following. It was the worst accidental gluten poisoning I’ve ever had.

Our waiter was really helpful in answering all my questions and helped me navigate the menu. I had the chicken chili ramen and sushi. They have gf soy sauce too!
Yokozuna is fantastic! There are quite a few GF options (which are clearly marked) on the menu. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about GF and was able to help me make substitutions to my favorite items to make them GF as well. They also have GF soy sauce.
Yes
Gluten free soy sauce was available. There were a lot of GF sushi options. We ate at the bar and the bartender was able to answer questions about entrees not listed as GF. Cider, wine, and cocktails were GF drink options. I loved this place and will definitely return!

Gluten free menu includes several sushi choices in addition to other entrees that can be made gluten free. Gluten free soy sauce was also available. I do not know if they had cider or beer but they did have Tito's and several cocktail options. We all enjoyed our meals very much! It was one of our favorite meals in OKC and we hope to go back when in town again.
Sushi was delicious. They have a gluten free menu available that also list what items may be at risk for cross contamination. They also have gluten free soy sauce!

My parents and I had a wonderful experience here. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. He made sure I had a disposable soy sauce cup and made sure the sushi was made with no cross contamination. The sushi was very good and I had no reaction to it.

as long as you talk to them about your allergy they are careful. it is a little more risky ordering delivery and they tend to forget the GF soy sauce when getting delivery but i like to call and remind them of my allergy and ask for the soy sauce after i place the order. my brother is a chef there and has celiac so he is definitely a big help for us celiacs. they do have a shared frier but they only fry one or two things with gluten and clean their frier very often as well as change the oil very often so i have never reacted from this, as well as if you ask they’ll change the oil for you. they bread things in a cornstarch breading when you order GF and it’s actually pretty good. the sweet and sour chicken is awesome.

I ate there in person once and I was fine. I have tried takeout twice and got gluten both times. That's strike two for me. The food was delicious, but I won't risk it again. I guess that they are more cautious about gluten contamination if you are dining in than they are with take out orders.
