I got the Beef Cuban bowl, with rice, black beans, lettuce, tomato, and plaintains. I really liked the sauces they have as well, aioli and hot salsa. I’m not celiac, so I can’t speak to safety but I have a gluten sensitivity and I felt fine after.

I called ahead and they said they have a list of GF items and the guy assured me multiple times that all the sides are GF even the fries and tostones bc they don’t put any flour in the fryer. Then at the cash register, they again assured me all the sides were GF and no flour in the fryer. Then as I ordered fries and tostones, some other worker walked by and said- “wait she can’t get the fries and tostones. We put empanadas that have flour in the fryer” I was really mad bc I almost got cross contamination. Also, don’t go by the GF list bc maduros are listed as GF but they also go in the fryer.
I got the pescado with rice and beans, veggies and potatoes. I think it was safe but wouldn’t say this was the best experience

Inefficient process to get carry-out: stand in one line for a while to place your order, then surprise! Stand in line again for a while to pay for your order. I didn’t have confidence in the greeter’s description of what was GF (cheesy potato hash? What else is put on that grille?) so Injust got a coffee.
