I’ve eaten here a few times and the first couple without incident. The staff are generally helpful with identifying safe dishes. On my most recent visit i tried to confirm which dishes have soy sauce (a previous server had informed me of this), to be told none of the dishes in the category had soy sauce. I ordered one, confirmed that it was gluten free with the server who delivered it, and took a bite to taste what seemed suspiciously like soy sauce. I asked a passing server to double check and sure enough, they came back running to stop me eating any more.

If you’re going to eat here, be very insistent on getting clear answers if you’d server doesn’t seem sure or doesn’t recognize the danger areas. I believe it’s the wot section of the menu where some dishes have soy sauce.

I do think this place is celiac safe. The Teff injera was really good. I’d never had Ethiopian food. I thought the yellow split peas for the veggie dish were undercooked a bit because they were hard. The veggie chickpea purée was really good.

Also, the vast majority of the menu can be made GF and our server walked us through what couldn’t be made GF. Everyone was really nice!

First Ethiopian food since the celiac diagnosis and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Lots of vegetarian options too, which is great. I did not get sick and will certainly go again!

Gf injera is available and is very tasty! Staff is very helpful in identifying any gluten-containing dishes. I like to get the four veggie combo with rice and gf injera.

Amazing Ethiopian food. Much of the menu is gluten free if you get your orders with the all-teff injera (which you do have to specifically request and pay extra for). Good vegetarian options, too.

Am fairly sensitive and have never had a reaction.
