Not as many options as marked are truly GF. I have had the pork fried rice and general tsos chicken several times and have not gotten sick. I mark them gluten free and comment gluten allergy when ordered online. The others I’ve talked to staff on and they said no due to the preparation of the food - such as the boneless spare ribs and sweet and sour chicken.

They swore they could do sweet and sour chicken gluten free, but when we got the order home it clearly was not gluten free. I spoke with the owner on the phone who said the lady answering their phone “just didn’t know”. I explained to her someone could have gotten really sick and if they “just don’t know” the answer shouldn’t be “yes”. We didn’t trust any of our order so sadly threw it all out and won’t be back. It’s a cute place but staff definitely needs more training

Sadly, I believe I was glutened, despite reminding the waitress several times, and ordering fro
m a page that indicated items could be made gf for an additional charge!!! I ordered shrimp with broccoli and yeah, I was charged the $1.50 fee.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant, but will not go back as there are others where I haven't gotten sick, nor charged additional fees!

I have celiac and called before doing takeout to discuss the fryer. The person on the phone sounded unsure if it was shared so I picked the sautéed option and the food was delicious. I didn’t get sick. My only feedback would be asking them to label which dish is GF since they al were packaged identically and some dishes can look similar.

My husband has celiac disease so we have a totally gluten free house. We order takeout from Zhangs every other week or so. They are super knowledgeable and warn us about any item that they cannot absolutely 100% confirm to be gluten free. Their gluten free food is delicious and most items on the menu can be made as such. We have liked everything we order but favorites we recommend are the Thai curry soup, yellowtail jalapeño, sesame chicken, and mu shu (note: they don’t have gluten free hoisin so when ordering mu shu gluten free they send it to us without and we have our own bottle of gluten free hoisin at home we use)

They could not make boneless spare ribs gluten free as mentioned in other comments but the beef & broccoli and general tso's was delicious. I have celiac and was nervous about getting sick but I did not. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Excellent food and service. They can make most dishes gluten free for $1.50 extra. We had the shrimp fried rice, beef with broccoli & boneless ribs, all prepared GF.

The staff is knowledgeable about their menus and what can/cannot be made GF. I would absolutely eat here again!
The staff was knowledgable about gluten. They had a large variety of choices. They could make almost any dish gluten free. The food tasted great. The service was friendly. It was a great experience.
They are AWSOME. They have gluten free general chaos chicken, beef & broccoli, chicken & broccoli, ginger chicken, pork fried rice. Ask to be served by Johnny he is very good with GF. Be very specific with your order, that ALL your items are gluten free especially with combination dinners.
Yes
