I told the employee I was gluten-free. He suggested the Moroccan chicken but it was a 25 minute wait. I said just give me your best salad. What I got was a small Mediterranean salad with a giant pile of wheat in the middle. I was speechless and sick to my stomach all at once.
Excellent food. No reaction, the falafel is baked so its safe!
I'm picky on top of having celiac. Got a kids meal with salmon kebabs and veggies for the side. Kebab was delicious! Veggies were OK. The manager suggested the fried potato salad. It looked too close to German potato salad to me and I prefer mayonnaise versus oil. He gave me some to try and it was so good! kind of like southern fried potatoes ! Very knowledgeable about celiac from the front counter to the grill.
My celiac & dairy allergy teen eats Zoes across the US - another good experience @ this location. Loves the kabobs, rice & potato salad.
Not really that many options for kids, but tasty.I don't recommend for kids.
Reasonable prices, good selections. Make sure to specify that you need your meal gluten free or they will give you pita slices as a side. Place is kind of a dump - leaking ceiling, filthy floors and bathrooms.
Excellent! And their rice pilaf is now gf, and so yummy! I always order the shrimp kabobs. They have a great selection
Went for lunch and had a yummy quinoa salad with fresh ingredients.
Nice lite food, had grilled chicken breast topped with sautéed onions , white beans and grilled veggies for $9!
Zoe's is a great place to grab a light lunch when shopping! I have eaten there several times and have always had a good experience. Very healthy and GF options.
They have a lot of natural GF items on the menu including entrees and sides. No desserts though. This food is fresh and you don’t leave feeling heavy and gross. The rotisserie style chicken, potato salad, marinated slaw, falafel and dips are really good! I have a gluten allergy not celiac.
Have a wide variety of options and an easy to find GF menu
I don't eat out that often due to celiac and multiple, severe food intolerances, but I discovered this place several months ago, and I'm so glad I did! There are lots of GF items to choose from which are clearly marked on the menu (and Whole30 items are marked too if you are doing that). I always tell them that I have a gluten allergy and I ask that they change their gloves. The food has been consistently good, and all of the employees have been very friendly and helpful. It's so nice having a place like this to go where I can get lots of fresh veggies and a good protein too. My favorites are the Mediterranean chicken, the shrimp kabobs, and salmon kabobs to which I usually do double roasted veggies as my 2 sides to maximize my nutrition. It's also nice that I now have a healthy version of "fast food" where I can get good, clean food in a short time because you just don't always have the time (or the money) to go to a typical, sit down restaurant to wait and to be waited on. Zoe's even offers rewards points which is a nice plus. I've introduced a lot of my friends to Zoe's too, and everyone has been very pleased.
Lots of gluten-free options to choose from and all were delicious!
This place has delicious food and we've never gotten glutened.
Delicious gluten free options. But cross-contamination can happen based on the proximity of items in the kitchen. I found a pasta shell in my GF salad, for example. They were accommodating and offered to make me another salad, but it makes me not trust the kitchen.
The GM took our order, and she was extremely knowledgeable. She went back and talked to the chefs in the back about changing gloves, using a clean work surface etc. We felt very safe eating here and no one got sick!
Good experience. Menu was marked with GF options... but ask questions and be careful. The staff pulled the floor manager to go back and prepare my plate. Used all fresh ingredients from the back that had not been on the make line. No designed kitchen space but staff was knowledge. Ask to change gloves.
Love this place. My favorite dish is the Mediterranean Chicken with the roasted vegetables. I have never had any problems from this place. I have ordered there many times. Definitely a great place to eat. Service is always great as well.
This Zoe’s is NOT a Zoe’s Kitchen. It’s a local breakfast all day place that does not have a GF menu, but they are able to modify meals like omelettes, skillets and salads to make them GF (leaving off the bread). They can do GF fries, but not homefries.
We eat here (or get take out) often with my toddler who has celiac. The cashiers seem very understanding (one has a friend with celiac). They make a note on your order about the allergy. My toddler gobbles up her kids meal from here! Doesn't get better than chicken and rice for kids. She never seems to have a reaction from Zoe's.
We ordered and specified (more than once) 2 different gluten free meals for take out. Arrived home and pita bread was added on top of one entree!! No excuse for this mistake. Did not eat too high a risk for gluten contamination . We were the only ones in line -middle of the afternoon on a Saturday.
Easy to ready menu and so delicious!
Gluten free menu with many options.
Asked for gluten free, they told me the feta cheese isn’t safe so I requested no feta. Mentioned GF probably 10x. What do I get instead? A load of pita all over everything. Kicker was they handed me the bag and said, “chicken kababs, gluten free.” Felt safe and left without checking- My fault. Threw the entire meal in the woods.
The food wasn't anything special. The chicken was overcooked and bland. The portions we're very small and there are preservatives in their snack packs. It was was so unimpressive it was like a chore to eat it.
The offerings were a good variety and the menu is well done to see what is GF DF. We would have liked a friendlier staff member taking out order, as it was our first time so we were a little nervous to order. Non GF DF friends loved the food, but I found it dry and tasteless.
We've eaten here dozens of times over the last several years and it has always been great. I'm always sure to tell them when ordering that we are all celiac and have never had an issue! (myself and both of my kids are all EXTREMELY sensitive celiac)
Menu is clear what is GF. Lots of options.
Great gluten free options available!
Great food always have a good experience.
Zoe’s Kitchen is a Chipotle like restaurant in that you order at the counter, clear your own table, casual eatery that specializes in Mediterranean cuisine. Their menu denotes the GF items and everyone was friendly and helpful. They also had a GF chicken salad that was delicious.
Good food, but I've gotten a short black hair in my meal a few times now. No one in my family has black hair. I overheard the back counter staff talking smack about another customer's dairy allergy, which a front counter staff member tried to defend. I have celiac disease, and multiple times I've informed them of this and not to put pita bread with my meal. My salad has come out with pita on it and I've had to send it back. If you've got food allergies, don't bother going to this location. It's obviously a joke to them.I've tried multiple times with this location, but I'll start going back to the other location in Roswell, even though I was excited about this one opening as it was closer.
