The staff was incredibly thoughtful and helpful when placing an order. They notified me at pick up everything that they did to make sure that my meal was completely gluten-free and Celaic safe.
Clearly marked menu. The staff happily answered a question I had, and the food was good! GF falafel is rare but they have it. I’m completely confident coming back.
Excellent lentil soup and white bean side dish. Dressing is delicious and gluten free. I had roasted vegetable kabobs and they were very good.
Not safe - unless you speak to JASMIN prior to your order. She was AMAZING. Please use extreme caution when ordering. They have items listed online and in store as Gluten Free but when we tried to pick up our gluten free order we learned that many items were NOT GF and that many are prepped & cooked on same surfaces as gluten products. Jasmin was amazing and the entire staff did their best to remake the parts of our meal that were safe but it was a huge scare for us to be so misled.
Won’t be returning. Spoke with the manager and told him I have celiac and he didn’t seem to care. My food came out cold. My fiancé found hair in his food and brought it up with the same mgr and he said “what, do you want me to remake the whole thing?” I didn’t get glutened, but we both felt really nauseous after eating here....
The menu is clearly marked for GF, Paleo, and even has selections that are designated as Whole30. The majority of the menu is Gluten Free, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. It was so nice to go in and order normally and get something that works for me without having to explain myself. I love Greek food, and am happy to have a safe and reasonably priced place to get it.
Several gluten and dairy free options. Food is delicious!
Good options and no side effects. They even have options for kids.
Everything I’ve had here is delicious. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. The menu had GF marked right on it and there are a lot of great choices! Definitely recommend!
I love Zoës Kitchen! I usually order the protein power plate with a side of potato salad. I’ve ordered it many times and never got sick. The most recent time I visited Zoe’s I ordered the shrimp kabobs and they were great but I was sick immediately after eating. Not sure what happened but I think there was definitely cross contamination.
Food was great (what I could eat) but I ordered cucumbers with the hummus. My fault for not checking on my to go order before I got to my hotel...I know better than that!! Couldn’t eat the hummus because it was contaminated with pita. Cauliflower rice was excellent!
Mediterranean food! Clearly marked GF menu with tons of options. Delicious chicken and shrimp kabobs, Greek salad, potato salad, and hummus. Occasionally they’ve messed up my order and given me pita bread but I just send it back and they make a new one.
This is my go-to restaurant, especially with friends with multiple dietary needs. They have a very large, well marked gluten free menu. You can also eat paleo, vegetarian, or vegan *and* gluten free. My gluten free vegan dinner is usually lentil soup, braised beans, and potato salad. (There are many other gluten free options and a few more that are both gluten free and vegan or vegetarian).
Lots of choices, they change gloves and wipe down kitchen space. The potato salad is vinegar based and they substitute that for pita bread and pasta salad sides. It’s very good.
Not, not, not Celiac friendly! :(
They have a lot of natural GF items on the menu including entrees and sides. No desserts though. This food is fresh and you don’t leave feeling heavy and gross. The rotisserie style chicken, potato salad, marinated slaw, falafel and dips are really good! I have a gluten allergy not celiac.
Have a wide variety of options and an easy to find GF menu
I don't eat out that often due to celiac and multiple, severe food intolerances, but I discovered this place several months ago, and I'm so glad I did! There are lots of GF items to choose from which are clearly marked on the menu (and Whole30 items are marked too if you are doing that). I always tell them that I have a gluten allergy and I ask that they change their gloves. The food has been consistently good, and all of the employees have been very friendly and helpful. It's so nice having a place like this to go where I can get lots of fresh veggies and a good protein too. My favorites are the Mediterranean chicken, the shrimp kabobs, and salmon kabobs to which I usually do double roasted veggies as my 2 sides to maximize my nutrition. It's also nice that I now have a healthy version of "fast food" where I can get good, clean food in a short time because you just don't always have the time (or the money) to go to a typical, sit down restaurant to wait and to be waited on. Zoe's even offers rewards points which is a nice plus. I've introduced a lot of my friends to Zoe's too, and everyone has been very pleased.
I told the employee I was gluten-free. He suggested the Moroccan chicken but it was a 25 minute wait. I said just give me your best salad. What I got was a small Mediterranean salad with a giant pile of wheat in the middle. I was speechless and sick to my stomach all at once.
Lots of gluten-free options to choose from and all were delicious!
This place has delicious food and we've never gotten glutened.
Delicious gluten free options. But cross-contamination can happen based on the proximity of items in the kitchen. I found a pasta shell in my GF salad, for example. They were accommodating and offered to make me another salad, but it makes me not trust the kitchen.
The GM took our order, and she was extremely knowledgeable. She went back and talked to the chefs in the back about changing gloves, using a clean work surface etc. We felt very safe eating here and no one got sick!
Good experience. Menu was marked with GF options... but ask questions and be careful. The staff pulled the floor manager to go back and prepare my plate. Used all fresh ingredients from the back that had not been on the make line. No designed kitchen space but staff was knowledge. Ask to change gloves.
Love this place. My favorite dish is the Mediterranean Chicken with the roasted vegetables. I have never had any problems from this place. I have ordered there many times. Definitely a great place to eat. Service is always great as well.
This Zoe’s is NOT a Zoe’s Kitchen. It’s a local breakfast all day place that does not have a GF menu, but they are able to modify meals like omelettes, skillets and salads to make them GF (leaving off the bread). They can do GF fries, but not homefries.
We eat here (or get take out) often with my toddler who has celiac. The cashiers seem very understanding (one has a friend with celiac). They make a note on your order about the allergy. My toddler gobbles up her kids meal from here! Doesn't get better than chicken and rice for kids. She never seems to have a reaction from Zoe's.
We ordered and specified (more than once) 2 different gluten free meals for take out. Arrived home and pita bread was added on top of one entree!! No excuse for this mistake. Did not eat too high a risk for gluten contamination . We were the only ones in line -middle of the afternoon on a Saturday.
