Went in on a Friday night and it wasn’t too packed. Went straight to the counter to order and the employee had no idea what was gluten free or not and had no clue of cross contamination procedures. Made me a little worried. Then he still gave me tacos in four tortillas. I was blown away by his lack of knowledge and care. The nachos were on par with bar food. Nothing special here.

They have no gluten free protocol. They do not have a seperate fryer. They do not know what gluten is.

The food is all cooked on the same flattop that also contains gluten products. This place is not gluten-free and is not celiac safe. Corn tortillas, protein and corn is all cooked on the same flattop. The BBQ sauce is not gluten-free.

Before a road trip my mom grabbed this for us, the second she said gf to the worker they explained what was gf, how their fryers are dedicated gluten free, they change their gloves for gf orders, and lots of other protocols. Needless to say felt very safe with eating it and it was delicious!

Most of their tacos are corn instead of wheat flour unless you ask specifically for wheat flour tortillas

I have ordered the grilled fish and shrimp tacos on corn tortillas on many occasions and never had an issue.

Good food. Celiac friendly. They'll cook chicken, etc in separate pan. Beef and pork are cooked in oven and safe anyway. Tell them you have celiac and they'll give you allergen menu and take good care.. I've eaten here several times.

I was so looking forward to getting gluten-free chips since they are fried in a separate fryer. Disappointment sat in fast. They couldn't tell me what meat, sauce, etc was gluten-free. I was just given a 'I think so'. No guide was available. No Mexican food today 😢

Good food! The worker wasn’t very knowledgeable but I felt comfortable eating here due to the allergens marked on their website. The cashier didn’t know what was gluten free. It tasted like a glorified chipotle but I’d eat here again.

Most of the tacos are gluten free on corn tortillas and they are pretty good! I like the rusty, pulled pork, and brisket. I wish they had a GF version of their Tex mex taco though.

The chips are fried in a dedicated fryer. The queso is GF. You can get any taco on a GF corn tortilla. My favorite are the grilled shrimp. They have a GF menu posted online.

Asked several questions about the gluten free menu options and told them I had celiac. I ordered corn tortillas, and realized halfway through one taco they had given me flour. I didn’t receive and apology or refund. They remade one on corn but I did not feel comfortable eating it.

Most of the tacos are corn tortilla but are cooked on the same surface as flour tortillas. If you ask they will cook them separately but it takes longer. Fryer is not dedicated so chips are not celiac friendly.

Multiple gf options. Food was great. No reaction and I’m very sensitive!

Staff was on top of it. Clearly communicated my celiac-related gluten sensitivity to the food preparers, packaged the items separately and marked them. All with a friendly smile. Plus great food - we’ll absolutely be back.
Yes
The food was so so good and extremely gluten friendly! They have corn tortillas for tacos and a lettuce bowl option. Overall, great find!

Amazing gluten free soft shells! i loved the steak fajita!

Gluten free tacos are marked. Fried items are fried in cross contaminated frier. Cashier said they had a gluten free frier once but a manager came over immediately and said it really wasn’t safe and gluten items are still fried in it. Have eaten here a couple times and haven’t gotten sick.
I am a sensitive celiac and eat here 2-3 times a month, it’s a go to safe spot for me!
Yes
Menu is clearly marked, I ate two tacos- black beans and brisket. No issues.
Manager was very knowledgeable and helped us navigate the menu. Food was excellent! Service was great! Atmosphere was very relaxing and friendly. We will be back!

Just went there for lunch with colleagues last week. was told flat out by the cashier NOT to eat there if I was a celiac. (so I had a glass of water instead)
They are gluten free "friendly", but not at all concerned about doing anything to avoid cross contamination. All flour & corn tortillas are cooked on same grill.

Sadly, the kitchen is contaminated.

Fresh tasting. Lots of GF options. A good alternative to places like Chipotle.
Hard to leave a star rating since I wasn't able to eat here. I was disappointed to find out they don't take any precautions for cross contamination. The girl taking orders explained they cook everything on the same surface and if you have celiac, to eat with caution. So I decided to pass...too bad! I've heard it's good.

Staff is awesome. They know exactly what to do for gluten free orders. Unfortunately, the food was not very tasty. It was basic taste-less tacos.

The girl I talked to asked her manager about GF options and I was told that if it doesn't have flour or is in flour it's safe. I also did research on the company and the owner's daughter is a celiac. The food has really good flavor and chips are great. A pretty good GF place in The Colony! I didn't have a reaction so know that the Rusty tacos, pork taco and chips and queso are safe.
Yes
I stopped in based on the review that they had GF items here & the manager didn't know what "gluten free" even was. I decided not to risk it & left. so, even though they may have good food (?), it's not known to be safe for GF diners.
Great tacos! Everything is gf (except for fried chicken and fish tacos). Staff is knowledgable.
Awesome tacos on corn tortillas
Excellent street tacos with options for the GF diner. Beef fajitas were yummy!
