The GF sandwich bread is one of the best I’ve had! The staff was really friendly and they said they have a separate surface and change gloves, etc. I haven’t had any issues with eating there. I love being able to stop by for a quick and tasty sandwich whenever I’m in town.

No longer celiac safe. They used to make sandwiches in the back with separate ingredients to minimize cross contamination, but now make it in the same space as all the gluten, using the same ingredients that get cross contaminated. Super disappointing, but now only safe for people choosing a gluten free diet, not people with celiac.

The last time my daughter and I went there (both of us have Celiac disease) they told us they no longer use the seperate prep space (they said corporate told them to stop using the seperate prep space?!?! - I never called to verify this was true), nor any seperate ingredients. The staff informed me that corporate took away their separate table in the back for gluten free 😭 Thankfully, they were knowledgeable and assured me they would take precautions by changing their gloves and laying down parchment, so I decided to risk it. By far some of the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had! I just wish they still had the separate table.

I ordered in person and sat there while they made half our order gluten and half gluten free. They were very particular to use a separate area for the GF and to make sure not to use the same gloves as the gluten. The employees were awesome and so polite! And to top it off, my sandwich was exactly what I ordered, it was exceptional.

This review is for DE PERE location- I explain my need for GF when I order and have had zero issues. Every time i have ordered they not only change their gloves, but make my sandwich in the back. This is a fast sandwich chain similar to subway and jimmy johns with actual gluten free bread!! They have super cool sandwich combos and then have the soups marked GF. It was super easy, fast, and cheap! And the sandwich was delicious! Contamination is inevitable though but I’m sure you could request a change of gloves and foil underneath the sandwich as it’s being made.

Gluten free bread available for many of the sandwiches. Not all sandwiches are an option though because if the fillings. Broccoli cheddar soup is gf and delicious. Great gf bread! Certified GF Broccoli cheese soup is yummy and the GF bread is better than the regular bread (according to my non celiac hubby who tried both). They prepared my sandwich in a safe space. Didn't get glutened. As a celiac, I would say celiac friendly.

Went to the north one up by Walmart. They had a seperate preparation area for allergies and manager was very knowledgeable. The bead is some of the best gluten free bread I have tasted.

The biggest problem is getting sick after eats GF sandwich from here. Some of the more minor issues are that what the website says is GF and what the staff believes to be GF differ. When they made my first sandwich with mayo (which I also cannot eat,) I was served the sandwich because they scrapped it off (but not all because I saw it on the edge.) I had to confront them about this and then the staff was very rude about having to remake the sandwich. When I finally got what I ordered, it was nothing to write home about. I will not eat here again and will save my sandwich buying for Jersey Mike’s, where they get my order right the first time and I’ve never gotten sick.

When we tried to explain our gluten medical issue, the employee rolled her eyes. Employee refused any request we made to try to avoid cross-contamination, saying that’s not the way “we do things.“. Not indicative of other E&G‘s we’ve been to. Will not return here.

Ate here once. The employee said there is only two sandwiches that are completely gluten free. It is good for a quick lunch, but nothing will blow your mind.

Dedicated kitchen space. Manager was very knowledgeable and even asked if we would prefer to have the GF sandwich in a separate bag.

The last time I was in they said that their soups are no longer gluten-free. They also did not seem knowledgeable about cross-contamination, so I will not be going back. I left without eating because I was not comfortable even though the last time I had eaten there everything seemed fine.

The Udi's GF buns are actually not bad! If you tell them its for an allergy, they will automatically make it from the back with fresh, untouched ingredients, change their gloves, and even put it in separate bags as the rest of your sandwiches. I always get the Girf and its really good.

They have an Udis gluten free roll that is the best I’ve had on a sub. Have a separate cooking area and will ask you if you are an allergy or a preference. Even though he was the only one in the shop, and really busy, he took the time to use the separate counter and change his gloves, highly recommended.

Such a relief to have a fast AND safe lunch here. This location has a safe prep space and knowledgeable staff! Cashier recommended that ham and turkey based sandwiches were safest, asked if allergy or preference, and spoke to the staff making my sandwich to prepare it safely. So happy!
