Gluten-Free at Neato Burrito

The food was good and they were very accommodating about toasting everything in a clean aluminum wrapper to protect from cross contamination on the grill. I skipped the salsa, and found it a bit bland without it. But i didn't get sick. And the portion size was generous. Cute place.

Not impressed. Although its great to have the option of a gf tortilla, the fillings had no flavor. I order the cajun chicken, black beans, jalapenos, pineapple habanero salsa...it was very bland. There isn't an option for hot sauce. A few dashes of Cholula hot sauce would've done wonders for this meal.

It was delicious!! They were so good about it. I placed an online order to pickup since we were traveling through the area. My husband asked if they ship it was so good. Definitely worth every penny!

Neato Burrito is my favorite place to eat when we’re in the area for Carlisle Ford or Chrysler Nationals.

You can get a gluten free tortilla for your burrito and not just a bowl. Most everything (but the flour tortillas) are gluten free and it’s delicious!

I am highly gluten-sensitive and eat here regularly without problems. Staff have been knowledgeable about what is in the food and cross contamination is tortilla-related. I’ve never had a gluten problem getting a bowl.

Awesome experience. I have celiac and treat gluten like a severe allergy. They got all new bins out, changed gloves, and were very careful. Will be going back!!

Don’t let them steam your burrito, it will be contaminated. Ask them to get new bags of chips and cheese for your burrito as they touch these with their glutened hands. Make sure they change gloves before handling your tortilla. Some staff are very knowledgeable, others you have to be specific about your needs.

Yummy food, friendly staff and super fun retro vibe. They changed gloves and seemed to know their gluten-free stuff. Even had GF wraps! Would definitely go back.

They have gluten free wraps for burritos and all food in the kitchen other than the non-gf tortillas are gluten free. When you ask for GF they will put on new gloves before handling your tortilla and are very careful of cross contamination.

Okay, so this was the first "out of my kitchen" stop for food. It is low key and not stressful for a Celiac like myself. I did not want to go bowl style...I wanted that gluten free tortilla! I told the gal at the counter and no questions asked she changed her gloves and grabbed the g-free tortilla from the other side of the counter. Much to my delight all of the options for fillings are g-free. The next worker nicely changed his gloves as well after asking if I wanted him too. The food was just as delicious as it was before my diagnosis!

I was recently diagnosed non-celiac gluten sensitivity and have been on a gf diet for six weeks. It was almost a month before I attempted to eat out and there have been several places I have been to and ordered gf but in the end got sick. Neato Burrito is the only place I have had ZERO issues with!! The Carlisle Pike location is amazing! The staff is well trained on gluten free. All of their stuff is gluten free except for the tortilla wraps..... BUT they just started carrying a Gluten Free wrap for burritos. I have not tried it yet but my husband did and said it was good.All you have to do is let them know before you place your order that you are gluten free. They will change their gloves and let everyone know going down the line and they will also change their gloves. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. When I am in a pinch because I did not plan ahead, I head to Beato Burrito for a great meal that does not make me sick.
