They’ve got 3 gluten free options and the wedding cake flavor is just as good as the “normal” one

While they use the same equipment to make their cupcakes, they ensured us that everything is well cleaned and the gf cupcakes are the first ones made in the morning. I’m Celiac and never have gotten sick!

Visiting niece at Auburn University and love to find gf cupcakes. Got the chocolate which was gooey and sweet. If you like those features in your cupcake visit the shop

Gigi gf cupcakes are very sweet a little too sweet for my liking. However, I’m grateful to have a gf option for cupcakes.

I ate one of their gluten free cupcakes. I was told that they were made by a third party in a bakery that made gluten free items in a separate area but that they were not dedicated gluten free. She basically told me to enjoy at my own risk since I am celiac. I took a small bite, not smart, I know; but sometimes the craving overtakes me, and I did not get sick! It was sooooo delicious. Best cupcake I’ve had in a long time.

Best gluten free cupcakes I’ve ever had. Amazing flavor options and all around awesome cake texture and taste. So so so good. Low safety rating is only because there’s other gluten products there but that’s a risk you take any time you eat out

Got there carrot cake cupcake. Can’t give a super fair rating on taste because it traveled home with me in my carry on before I tried it. But it did have pineapple or appld chucks in it and raisins which I was not a fan of. They definitely had a decent amount of cupcakes with gf options.

What a variety! This Gigi's seems to take care of its customers. Tasty and no ill effects.

They have gluten free options but told me there is a risk of cross contamination. So not safe for allergies or celiacs

Started coming here for cupcakes after Bloom became unavailable. We have 2 Celiac's in our group, and neither of us have had any issues with their GF cupcakes in the 2 years I've been getting them. I always pre-order the cupcakes, so it's possible that avoids the issue of sharing space with the regular cupcakes.

Just a warning for anyone celiac…not a safe place. I appreciate the honesty of management, but we won’t take a chance.

I love Gigi’s cupcake and I have celiac. I have never had a problem; however, they do not have a dedicated oven, so I would just be aware of that if you are buying GF cupcakes from them.

I have had the gluten free wedding cupcake and the chocolate cupcake. They have these separate from the rest and label everything very well. They do use separate utensils, but baked in same oven. I have been gf for 4 years now and not had any issues at GiGi. Cupcakes are big and very tasty!!

So nice to have an option for dessert! I’ve known about my celiac disease for over a year and hardly ever get dessert so this is so exciting!

Ordered some cupcakes, ate half of one, and less than an hour later, I was having awful gut pain. Definitely not safe for Celiac.

There were three gluten free cupcake options on the day we visited. Gluten free cupcakes had brown cupcake wrappers (which was a different color than the regular ones) and were stored in a separate area of the display case. The cupcakes were pretty good but not the best I’ve ever had. Still, it was nice to be able to get a cupcake from a bakery for my wheat allergic child.

GiGi’s offered about 10 different flavor combinations of cupcakes. The chocolate with fudge icing was yummy and very rich. The cake was like a brownie. I also tried the wedding cake cupcake. Excellent! I bought a chocolate caramel, but haven’t tried it yet!

Gigi’s makes fresh cupcakes daily, but there are a limited number of gluten friendly cupcakes— so they’re first come-first serve (unless you place an order in advance of course). They have two standard flavors year-round that are gluten friendly (“triple chocolate torte” & “wedding cake” which is a vanilla with buttercream frosting). They typically have a third flavor that is alternated based on the day/season. For example I’ve had a pumpkin caramel flavor during the fall, but presently (winter) they have a Banana Caramel Crunch option that’s gluten friendly. I found this location of the national chain to be just as good as other locations that I’ve had positive experiences with previously.

They will be happy to give you ingredients of cupcakes when needed for allergen concerns! The cupcakes are made with rice flour. They use real sugar, not anything artificial! They do not claim to be celiac friendly. They boxed my cupcakes separately from my husband’s non GF cupcakes, keeping cross contamination from happening. The GF cupcakes are kept in a case separated from the others. They do not offer dairy free options, I am unsure of other allergens, but they happily will answer for you over phone or in store. The cupcakes are very delicious!

Gigi’s was delightful! My girls kept wanting to go back there. Our family is very celiac but we didn’t get sick and there was no contamination. The cake is delicious and the frosting is heavenly. Go here
My daughter recently got married and we purchased her gf wedding cake here. It was beautiful and delicious!! Totally recommend

Very good! We got 2 cupcakes and it was a nice treat. They have a lot of frosting on them and are VERY sweet. I could only eat half of one.
Fantastic treat while on vacation!!! Such a sweet staff! Very good gf wedding cake cupcake!
Staff member told me they are not Celiac Friendly. That they prepare their GF products in the same space as all their other products.
No
The staff is great. The cupcakes are always fresh and delicious.
They usually have three flavors to choose from. SO DAMN GOOD!
3 Flavors of gluten free cupcakes in a dedicated space, chocolate, pumpkin, vanilla. She washed her hands and applied clean gloves. Beautiful and delicious.
Not celiac friendly at all. They are good GF cupcakes if you are just gluten sensitive but allergy means dont eat or you will be sick!
Offers 3 flavors of GF cupcakes daily with rotating seasonal favorites. Friendly staff. We’ve never been disappointed in Gigi’s.
Although this is mainly a regular bakery, they do offer excellent GF cupcakes!

We have been going to gigi's winston salem for 3 years but for the last 6 weeks doesnt matter what time of day we go they have less than 6 gf cupcakes available and wont make more because the new staff is lazy was told today that the head baker is out of the country and they would make any being that they was only open another 2 hours.
From what I hear their stuff is decent. But they are NOT celiac friendly. All of their labels are "gluten friendly" and they freely admit to cross contamination.

My son and I both have issues with gluten, although mine are more severe - I am *very* sensitive - and neither of us got sick. The icing is super sweet, but what a nice treat to have cupcakes that I didn't have to make! I do wish they had more gf options than wedding cake or triple chocolate... Maybe a nice strawberry...

Absolutely the best GF cupcake I have ever had. Cake was amazing and frosting was delicious!!! I had the Wedding cake one...

Their GF cupcakes aren't very good. They have a gummy texture, are more sweet than flavorful, and have more frosting than cake. They're also ridiculously overpriced.

I called to check and ask questions about their gluten free cupcakes. They use the same equipment to make gf and regular cupcakes. They said they aren’t celiac friendly.

Not celiac friendly. Has a disclaimer on all cupcakes for gluten alergen.
They are good, and do have GF cupcakes. However, they are NOT celiac friendly. They are "gluten free" but are incredibly contamimated. If you have a sensitivity, you should be fine. If you actually have celiac, you WILL get sick.
