Wow. What an experience. We did not know what we were getting into. We thought we’d go for a little appetizer and drink… didn’t realize it was a whole experience of a meal! But a wonderful surprise. Very large GF menu online - I used it as I chose from the salad bar. Most meats are GF. Very good. No reaction.

They do have a gluten free menu it is online. Excellent food 90% gluten free. I eat here regularly and they sell a half price VIP card good on Sunday and Tuesday -thursday except holidays making the price about the same as say outback.

I was very impressed by the knowledge of the staff as to what on the salad bar was safe and what wasn’t. The manager took my daughter and I around to go over ever item. All but 1 of the meats are gluten free.

This is an all you care to enjoy establishment for some items such as the full salad bar with meat and assorted cheeses. Hot side dishes of rice, beans, soup and scalloped potatoes were also available. Our waitress had no clue what gluten free even was, but on line reviews say all sides were GF and they may have been. I did observe gluten bread so asked the staff to bring me a plate of potatoes and rice from the kitchen which they did. The manager came and he was slightly more helpful. He said any meats with Parmesan has gluten crumbs. They brought out fried banana, tapioca flour rolls and mashed potatoes as we were about finished. I am very sensitive and did get sick. My son is slightly less sensitive and he did not.

When I got there, I asked the host if they had a gluten free menu or something to state what has gluten in it. The host had the chef come out and show me what I could and couldn’t have on their salad bar. There were a lot of options on what I could have. All of the meats were gluten free expect for one. The cheese bread that they bring to the table is gluten free and so delicious. I left so full. Really great experience!

When I asked about gluten free our server went back and came back with a list... I think 2 things on the salad bar, no mushrooms lobster bisque and I think the potatoes are gratin, and as far as the meats go...skip the breaded ones, the garlic ones, and the 'spicy' anything... overall I'd say 90% of the place was gluten free, and it's now our go to place since I have so many options I don't feel limited to a salad and or a bunless burger! Picanha is my favorite, and they made sure every single time a spit came out they hit my table to make sure I. Was "happy"

We asked the a manager to walk us through the salad bar and sides that were gluten free. She started giving us a list which included cheese, deli meats, potato salad and asparagus for the salad bar. Then they brought hot sides to the table and we had to ask her to come back and tell us about those. She told us the rice, French fries and cheese bread was gluten free. I questioned the fries and asked what else was fries in the same oil. She said nothing. My boys (both with celiac disease) spared no time and dug in. About 5 minutes later she came back and told us the fries were not gluten free. We left with a $200 bill and 2 sick kids.

We had a good experience, I’m celiac and the chef gave me a tour around the salad bar and explained what I should stay away from, wasn’t really much to stay away from. Almost everything is gluten free. A little more seasoning to the meat and that will take care of everything. I like season in my meat.👍 the waitress are wonderful.

I ordered takeout and used the allergen menu online. There were lots of choices for me! Most of the meats were available. I was delighted that the Brazilian cheese bread is made GF, with cassava flour. Plenty of wines listed as GF too.

We took our celiac daughter here with her friends for her birthday. The management and staff went above and beyond for us. The manager walked her around the salad bar showing her what she could eat. They made sure to bring her meat straight from the kitchen. The server was wonderful at letting us know which meats she could eat. She was so excited to be able to eat the bread too! Best birthday experience ever for our very sensitive celiac girl!

Delicious!! Almost all of the meats are gluten free (aside from a few bread crumb crusted ones) but no cross contamination. Most salad bar and side items are gluten free. Ask your server about the gluten free options - they were nice and knowledgeable.

The food was delicious. The manager came to talk to me about everything I could eat as they don't have menus. All the meat brought to the table is gluten free. The cheese bread is gluten free and DELICIOUS! The mashed potatoes and fries are not, but the plantains are. (These are the sides they bring to the table.) Mist of the hot dish bar is NOT gluten free, but most of the cold part of the salad bar is. I, however, chose not to eat from it as I didn't trust the other customers to not have contaminated it with surrounding gluten-filled foods. I did not have a reaction to eating here. Expensive but DELICIOUS.

Our waiter was amazing. He went to the chef and made me a list of things to avoid at the salad bar/sides. It was only a handful of things. There were only 2 meats that weren’t safe to eat. The only thing I was disappointed with was the fact that they didn’t have even one kind of gluten free wine. You gotta have wine with steak!

Service was excellent. Requested gf menu at time of reservation and was handed a hand written list upon arrival. Server went out of her way to ask the kitchen about any item i asked about. All the meat was gf and most of the cold bar items as well as the cheesy bread. I had no issues at all. Great experience! 👍👍

I have ordered takeout from this place many times, however, this was the first time that I interacted with a male host. I did not get his name however I did get his blatant disdain and exclusionary intent immediately upon entering the establishment. He was unwarrantedly rude. And I can only surmise it was due to 3 black women showing up.

I let them know before that I had celiac disease before coming in and they had no idea what that was or gluten for that matter. There were NO menus so it was impossible to know what I was eating. I should have know better and should not have eaten anything. I had some salad without dressing from the salad bar and some steak that I was told was only seasoned with salt and pepper. I got very sick afterwards. This place is not accommodating for any kind of allergies.

When they first opened, they were somewhat knowledgeable and accommodating. There were a few occasions when a waiter gave incorrect information, but I learned to ask only managers about allergens.
They’ve made cost-cutting measures that are definitely for the worse. For instance, a manager informed me that they now add gluten into the mashed potatoes. Why?
Most places try to expand their gluten free menu, while TdB is shrinking theirs.
For what it costs, it’s not worth it for those who must eat a GF diet.

I got the full Texas De Brazil experience just like any other person with a gluten allergy would get. All meats are gluten-free and the best part is the bread is gluten-free, and so delicious! The manager will walk you through the salad bar to tell you what it is and what is not gluten-free. Great experience

We came back here in 2020 after a great experience last year. Not as good this time. They made a change to recipe and now the mashed potatoes aren’t GF anymore. The waitress didn’t know and told us at first they were ok. The manager had to rush over after she asked him to double check. The meats remain tasty and GF. The service on this night wasn’t great.
Original review from 2019
Terrific food. As others have noted, all the meats are gluten free and the staff takes care to show you what is safe on the salad bar. I took one star away, though, because none of the salad dressings were gluten free, which really limited the salad bar options

I've been eating at this place in Utah for yrs and was really excited to find one here. It is slightly different with covid restrictions but still so worth it.
Yes
The majority of the menu is gluten free. Only meat option that has gluten is the sausage. Such good cheese bread!
Yes
Gluten free cheese bread, Jasmine rice, and fried banana. Gluten free creme brulee. It was awesome!
Yes
The food here was terrible and overpriced! With the facade of a fancy restaurant, they served canned beans, bland cheese, and raw vegetables. Definitely not vegetarian friendly, but they have a lot of meat —which we didn’t try because the salad buffet was terrible so we didn’t feel like paying double to eat meat. There are gluten free options, but the food is simply not worth paying for. I don’t understand the hype at all!!
Great place for gluten free! If you ask, they have an allergen list. The meats are all gluten free, and many things at the buffet (salad, potato salad, tomatoes, rice, and a TON of other options) are also gluten free. I’d definitely ask for the sheet of gluten vs non gluten free foods to get specifics but there are many options (although less so for vegetarian). I ate twice here since it was close by and did not get sick either time! Lunch is cheaper than dinner but the selection of meats is slightly different and more limited, but it was still great!
Yes
Great food, parts of salad bar our unsafe but manager immediately let me know everything I could eat. Totally recommend.
Yes
Had a great experience. I am Very sensitive to cross contamination and did not get sick! Very celiac friendly cooking process.
Yes
Meats are gluten free and most of the salad bar is also. Last year when we went here the manager walked me through everything they offer to let me know what I could safely enjoy. Tonight when we went back there, I informed the waitress I cannot have gluten, and she proceeded to bring things out. At the end of the meal after watching me eat the whole dish of mashed potatoes she informed me that they were not gluten free although they were in the past. I'm currently sitting in bed with a reaction on my anniversary. Very inconsistent here. Be careful.
No
I have eaten here several times. Most of the salad bar is gluten free. The chef will come out and walk you around to tell you what is safe and what is not. The meats are all gluten free.
The staff was very knowledgeable. I talked to the manager. She said that she used to have a server that had celiac and would eat the Brazilian bread all the time. It was really good. And the Pincanha steak was so yummy! There are a couple of side dishes that have gluten so it’s not 100% gf. I would definitely go again
Yes
The manager was so helpful. He walked me through the buffet line to describe what I could eat. Service was great! They even offer a discount for teachers, police officers and EMTs. I will definitely go back.

Celiac friend was pleased with the experience.

Awesome! All meat was gluten free and the cheese buns are gluten free and delicious. Fabulous meal!
Yes
I ate there and it was delicious. Didn’t get glutened. However, the staff did not walk me through the salad bar. My waitress gave me a sheet of the GF options but the salad bar items were not labeled. A manager went through the salad bar with me once I asked.
The tabbouleh contains gluten and it was next to the GF mozzarella balls. I found pieces of tabbouleh in the mozzarella for example. I’m a new Celiac so I’m sure this is very common.
The meat is GF and the fried bananas and cheese bread. I ate a lot of those ;)
Ask the manager to walk you through the bar, they are EXTREMELY knowledgable about celiac and cross contamination. I was able to eat the bread which was my favorite part!!!
Yes
5 Star service, friendly knowledgable staff, individual attention to allergies for celiac. The food was delicious, service outstanding !!

Manager walks you around the salad bar and lets you know what is safe and what isn’t. The Brazilian cheese bread is great! All meat is safe. Fun atmosphere.
Yes
This restaurant was such a delightful surprise! All meats gluten free and the salad bar was phenomenal. Salad dressings gluten free. Manager walked me through gluten containing items. Mashed potatoes were not gluten free but bread and bananas were. Even had 3 gluten free desserts.

First time at this location. Third time at a Texas de Brazil overall. Always a good experience. All the meats are gluten free. Most of the salad bar is. The cheese bread roll things they bring to everyone's table are gluten free. The manager and our waiter checked a few items with the executive chef (fancy title!) to confirm they were gluten free. They have a few desserts, too. Crème brulé, passion fruit ice cream, and Carmel flan. Check out their website. Pretty sure it's listed there. Delicious food. Always leave stuffed!
Yes
The staff will give you a personalized tour of the salad bar and tell you what foods you need to avoid. Staff very knowledgeable about gluten. Large amount of food available that is gluten free.
Yes
Would totally recommend this place! They are very knowledgeable and if you ask them, you can get extra wishes. So I just asked to get the Potato Casserole without the sauce, so just fried potatoes and they pulled it of no questions asked. They also have several GF desserts (flan, crème brulée etc).
Yes
All the meat is gluten free. If you need more information than that, you shouldn't go here. It's $70 or more per person, so go hungry and don't worry about any of the sides. The meat is delicious, so I imagine the other food is, but I don't know because I've only eaten the meat, as should you.
Yes
I usually save 5 stars for dedicated GF restaurants but I'm making an exception. The manager told me they try to make it easy for GF patrons to eat there as he escorted me around the salad bar and told me just what I could and couldn't have. There were a handful of items on the salad/charcuterie bar that weren't GF, and only one side dish was GF. The mashed potatoes that came with the meal experience were not GF but the bread was fresh Brazi Bites that were amazing. ALL of the meats (15 meats are brought to your table) were GF. It's so nice to have a place to go for a nice occasion that gives more than a couple of choices and that I can be confident I won't get sick from. I can't wait to go back.
Yes
Their food is incredible! The Manager will walk you around their huge salad bar to show you what is safe to eat. Almost all the meats are GF as well! Bring your appetite as it’s all you can eat. Well worth the price!
Yes
Unreal. Almost all is GF including cheese bread. Three GF desserts too!! Our waiter gave me a GF tour so I would know exactly what I could eat! Amazing and worth the money!
Yes
They tell you that the meat is gluten-free however I got really sick. I just eat the meat, I think the put some sauce that contain gluten or there is a contamination some where
No
This place is awesome!! Once you tell them you have allergies, they give you a paper with all allergies and a list of their food and let you know if it has dairy or gluten. This way you can eat only what you can. The food was amazing! If your celiac and Dairy free like me this is a good place.
