They have a gluten-free menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You would have to ask for the menu. There are enough choices to go out for a meal. I had pork chops with garlic sauce, mashed potatoes(no gravy), and corn. The service was excellent.

Do not eat here. We had breakfast here. We stated our needs clearly. I was up charged for a fruit cup substitution for toast. My mother (also gf) and I had eggs, bacon and hash browns. All were stated as being safe and while not a gf friendly place would clean grill. I did ok. My mother was sick within half an hour of eating. I imagine her over easy eggs and bacon were cooked where gluten had been. Or the grill was ‘cleaned’ with a used scraper and rag. Or the utensils used to prepare her meal came in contact with gluten. Our meals came out at different times so this is the only thing I can figure. On top of that, my over medium eggs and my father’s were nothing alike. Mine were closer to over easy left a few seconds longer and his were well done over hard. This is not a place I’ll eat again. And as Larned only has gf lunch and dinner, the next time I visit, I’ll take a toaster and bagels and just have yogurt and bagels in my hotel room!

I always get the hashbrowns and scrambled eggs with a side of avocado. I always mention that I have celiac disease and need it be gluten free. The food is always tasty and it has never made me sick.

Looked up the gluten-free menu online food was nothing special got hashbrowns eggs and bacon with a side of fruit cost almost $13 not really worth the money but I didn't get sick so.

Hooray! Small gluten free menu. Had breakfast here , poached eggs, hash browns are done on flat top and side of fruit. Coffee and water. Worked out great as difficult to find safe breakfast options. Server Dianne was very attentive and brought us coffee right away. Hostess was good and brought gf menu when I requested it intially.

They have a dedicated gluten free separate menu, just need to ask for it. Offered to have the cook strip down the grill to prep my food. They were so accommodating. Everything came out perfect. They even let me do swaps for other sides if I didn't care for what the gf meal was said to come with - w/o an upcharge.

Chain restaurant. Passing through on a road trip and stopped in for late breakfast. Wanted eggs, sausage, fruit from build-your-own option. Server said she didn't know if I could place an order without ordering a bread/pancake option! Seriously!? Anyway, manager approved my order and I barely ate as I was so frustrated. Tried to educate them. Just know, some small towns are still living in the past. FYI, pass on by!

I asked for a gf menu and they gave me a small card with a few items on it...not very clear. At checkout I asked about gf desserts as the waitress mentioned they had them. The woman said no they didn't but anything without bread is safe to eat. Really?? They are Not knowledgeable about gluten there at all. I had two fried eggs.

So I edited my original post. I went back to Perkins for breakfast and they said they got rid of the gluten-free menu and nothing would be safe for a celiac

So I got a very simple cheese omelette. Told them no toast and explained why. Was eating it and noticed something inside it— bread crumbs. I don’t know if a cook was just being an a-hole, but needless to say, I got very sick and will never be back. I had eaten here before with no problem, but the bread crumbs in the omelette felt pretty intentional. But in general there are no gluten free options and if you have celiacs do not go here.

They have a small GF menu available upon request. I ordered a cajun crusted salmon filet with a side salad (no croutons) and fresh fruit. The server was very kind and accommodating, the food was good, and I didn't get sick! Very few measures to prevent cross contamination.

I went here Sunday in hopes of ordering from their gluten free menu but the didn’t have any printed? Wait staff was clueless so I just had a omelette and hash brown. I would not recommend this restaurant

After speaking with the ver kind manager by phone, I felt comfortable coming here to eat with my daughter who has Celiac. He had me call again an hour before coming so they could clean part of the grill for her sausage and bacon. He had her eggs cooked in the microwave. Our server was already aware of her food needs when we sat down. She did not complain of a stomach ache after so we felt good about the meal.

They didn’t have a gluten free menu or mark the items, but you can go to Perkins website and they list the GF items. A lot of breakfast items and meats are GF.

They had a GF menu which was a two-sided card; one side was lunch/dinner options but I honestly didn’t even look at it because we were there for breakfast. The other side was breakfast options. I choose a 3-egg ham & cheese omelette with fruit & hash browns. It was good and I never got sick.

While there’s no gluten-free menu, their eggs and bacon are safe. I can’t say much about the potential of cross contamination, but our party ate here and had no issues. The server was very accommodating in suggesting alternatives to sides and Other things that contained gluten.

They have a “gluten sensitive” menu available upon request, though there is a statement saying they don’t recommend for celiacs since they can’t guarantee lack of cross contact. I had a salad without croutons and a bowl of tomato soup, and a side of fruit. I didn’t get sick and my follow up celiac labs were negative so it worked out for a lunch with family. It wasn’t filling by any means, but it was fine. Some Perkins have separate griddles for eggs and hash browns from pancakes, so it’s always good to ask if you’re looking for something more filling.

They had a very nice gluten free menu.
Yes
I was brought rice pilaf which has orzo pasta with butter when I asked for plain dry rice due to milk and gluten allergies. The vegetables were 2 slivers of red peppers and 1 small slice of onion. The shrimp also had butter on it.
Waiting Staff told me flat out that they don’t cater to any GF needs...
No
Staff was very friendly and helpful with making sure food was gluten free. Food was very good. They told me they offered gluten free bread, but I did not try it.
Totally surprised by this restaurant chain. They have a GF menu on the table and staff was knowledgeable. We were there at a crazy busy time (included seating a 30+ number of high school football team!) and they were rock stars. Waited s but but staff never lost their cool or good humor.
Friendly, helpful staff. Menu was somewhat limited (traditional items) but the staff was super accommodating. I never thought of Perkins as a gf option. So happy!
Yes
Gluten sensitive menu and knowledgeable staff.
I ordered salmon with two veggies. it was delicious. service was wonderful. I am only gluten sensitive so I don't know about celiac safety.
Great place! They have a separate gluten free menu and great gluten free breakfast options. This place is safe as long as you order off the GF menu.
Yes
Pretty nice gluten-sensitive menu includes omelets, salads, entrees (salmon, pork chops, etc.) I've never had an issue here. Hearty Harvest omelet is great.
Yes
Not a fan. Hardly anything to choose from and kind of rude when I’d ask questions.
I have eaten here several times and have not gotten sick. My favorite is their breakfast hamburger (without the bun). Good options and they know what I'm talking about when I say the word gluten. Does not have a dedicated kitchen however they take good precautions. Good GF menu available.
The service was good. We were there at a slow time so I was disappointed the waitress got my mom's order wrong. She realized her mistake and corrected it. The food was good, we had the eggs and some fruit.
Nice gluten free menu and good food
They have nothing here, we just walked out. So sad
There is no proper gluten free menu, also some celiacs cannot have milk. I would love if this was a fairy and gluten free restaurant plus a dedicated facility.
No
They do not have a gluten free menu and everything here is cross-contaminated, even the eggs. Do not eat here unless you are just fad dieting and do not need to avoid gluten for medical reasons.
No
They can make you "gluten free" items. They cannot however, make anything without serious cross contamination. On the number of occasions I have gone wth friends or family, I have asked each time about their process for prepping a gluten free meal before I attempt to order anything. All food is prepared on the same surface with the same utensils. I have heard that other Perkin's have a great understanding of celiac and prep requirements, but unfortunately that just isn't the case with this one. According to family that are not gf though and can actually eat when they go here, the food at this location is good and the service is usually good.
I have to base my rating off of how gluten free friendly they are though, so they get a 1 out of 5 from me. They try to have options but they just don't have the training or ability to properly prepare these options safely.
No
I ate for the seond time at the local Perkins. Had no problems at all and I have celiac. The manager assured me they take extra care to avoid cross contamination. Their gluten free menu has a disclaimer but I have not found a restaurant yet that does not. The frittata was delicious.
Yes
Not gluten free friendly at all. Menu is a 1/3 piece of paper. Everything is cross contaminated
