Spoke with the manager to find out if this location had a dedicated fryer and the manager as well as all staff on had never heard of gluten.

Ate here one time and got the low carb burger and it didn’t hurt me. Ate here for the second time, and got the same thing, but I ended up very sick. I think it was because of cross contamination but I’m not sure.
If you're in need of something quick, their burgers can be made GF. The only thing cooked on the grill are burgers, so you can get any burger without a bun. For me, the best option to ensure no cross contamination or confusion, is to order their low carb thickburger. It originally comes without a bun, and wrapped in lettuce. I brought my own GF bun, and it was great! Unfortunately, the burgers are the only thing that can be made GF.
Went tonight for the first time and was very pleased. I got the "low carb burger" which was on a lettuce wrap and I noticed the fries being cooked in a different area. I asked if it was fries only and the employee said yes. Glad to have another option to eat on the go in Plant City!
Had the low carb ( lettuce wrapped) burger with a side salad to be safe, but what set this location apart was the attention to cross contamination, even during a busy lunch hour. The prep guy washed his hands AND changed gloves, with the manager overseeing everything. If I get glutened on this trip it won't be from this Hardee's.
