I'm currently very afraid of eating out, but you can't stop living. With the reviews from the people before me, I felt like this place would be a good bet. It sure was. I sat down the server arrived and I let her know I had heard this place was very gluten free friendly and I have a sever allergy to wheat. She let me know right away the chips where made in a dedicated gluten free fryer and it was safe. A few minutes later the manager arrived and asked who had the allergy. I let him know it was me. He asked me what I was looking at and he said it was safe. The only thing I could not have was the steak. The food was good. I will be back if I ever get to the mall of america again. If you are in need of a safe dining experience, this place is for sure it.

I have eaten here multiple times as I go through D terminal and have never gotten sick. I always identified my needs and concerns and the staff has been more than helpful to keep me safe.

We had a wonderful experience and the food was amazing. The chips are gluten-free, which is a huge positive for our family, as our 8 yr old with celiac disease could make a meal out of chips and queso. Carlos was our server and he was above and beyond conscientious and helpful in regards to our gluten-free needs. He even came out to let us know that he found out that one of the ingredients in my dish was not gluten-free and asked if I wanted to substitute. Needless to say, we were so grateful and enjoyed the meal so much more knowing that he was looking out for us.

After telling the waitress I was gluten free and having her point out menu items that were gluten free, I still had an attack after ordering one of those items (pescado tacos).

The chips are gluten free by default, made in a separate fryer. Decently large menu where if you tell them you're GF they take special precautions to avoid cross contamination. Food is tasty with generous portions.

Ordered GF entree, when the server brought it out he stated that he didn’t know what was GF and what wasn’t so he just switched the foods on my plate. Guacamole was terrible, no cilantro no onions. Chicken was scorched on the outside and pink on the inside. Even my non GF friends couldn’t eat their food. We got a refund, didn’t eat and went to another restaurant. Can’t believe the server never even asked or inquired with the chef on what was safe for consumption. PS me and my non GF friends ended up being sick for 2 days from the few bites of guacamole we did try.

It is nice to go to a Mexican restaurant that has a menu labeled with gluten free items. I love that the chips are fried in a designated fryer (my waitress double checked with the chefs). I had the chicken fajitas (*note: the steak is not marked GF) which was a more fancy take on classic fajitas. Very good! You could swap the flour tortillas for corn tortillas, but I opted out. The Mexican rice was also tasty. Very pleased with my meal and enjoyed the neat, modern atmosphere.

I spoke with the waiter, who got the manager for me...he was extremely helpful and assured he would supervise the meal prep to "avoid any cross contamination" (his words). I can't wait to go back! I had the chicken fajitas, queso, chips, beans and rice all GF!

There were only a handful of items on the menu that could be made gluten free, no dedicated menu. Unfortunately most of them contained fish which I’m also allergic to so I had 2 choices. I selected a GF chicken breast with a sauce and black beans. I was sick within an hour. Wouldn’t recommend for celiac.

They had a dedicated fryer for the tortilla chips and the server was very knowledgeable on cross-contamination and ingredients.

The only meat we couldn't get was the carne asada.our meal was great the waiter answered a lot of our questions and the chef came out and took our order.
I ventured out to this new Mexican restaurant due to reading that they had gluten-free offerings. Upon checking out the menu, they clearly marked the dishes that were gluten-free. I asked the waitress about the tortilla chips and she informed me that they were gluten-free and made with corn. I asked if it was a dedicated fryer for the chips and learned it was!! Made me feel comfortable ordering and had no reaction after eating here. Outside seating, over looking Town Center, is a great view to take in the great food. Highly recommend!

Only could eat like 6 things... not very knowledgeable about gluten free at all. Don’t come if your have celiac

Wait staff was very knowledgeable, and the manager stopped by to let us know he was aware of our allergy and the items we ordered would be prepared GF. My daughter had chicken fajitas with corn tortillas, and I had the fish tacos. Food was excellent, but we wished there were more GF options. Would definitely go back.
Yes
Ate here last night after hearing about their menu. Specified a gluten allergy and ordered the chicken fajitas with corn tortillas that was on their menu marked as GF. I got sick, just be careful.
No
Chips are from a dedicated fryer. A few good selections from the menu and anything gf is noted with a purple triangle. I’ve always been happy with my meals and the servers.
Yes
I got a salad that the waitress said was gluten free as described, but when it came to the table the tortilla strips and cheese were missing. At least the kitchen made it gluten free. It was amazing to be able to eat the chips and salsa!
Plenty of GF options. The chips and salsa were great. The salad I got was good and really big.

I am very sensitive celiac and our waiter was very knowledgeable about my options for eating there. The chef also came out to make sure he understood my allergies (gluten and dairy). I had the chicken fajitas with corn tortillas and they were amazing! They have a dedicated fryer first their chips and the salsa and guacomole were delicious!! I felt very safe eating here and would definitely come back!
Yes
The waitstaff honestly has no clue what they’re talking about when it comes to allergies. Asked for the gluten free fajitas and I received flour tortillas with the meal. If you’re Celiac than stay far away.
No
Delicious queso and salsa, dedicated fryer for chips, plus brunch on Sunday! Food is amazing. Very accommodating for celiac.
Yes
Delicious food, dedicated fryer for the chips! The tacos were great!
Yes
Great place. Chips are 100% gluten free. Manager was phenomenal. Came to table and personally took care of order. Made braised short rib gluten free....it was delicious. Highly recommend.
Yes
Went to this location assuming it was GF friendly because I’ve been to other locations. Majority of the items that were marked as GF, were unable to be made GF. I tried ordering queso, tortilla soup and barbacoa tacos, all listed as GF but they could not accommodate. I was told I could have salmon or a salad.
Asked for two gluten free meals and got one served with flour tortillas. My gf daughter ate one before we caught it and had to take Benadryl. They apologized and brought out corn tortillas, but the damage was done. Great food but have to watch for safety.
The waiter was not knowledgeable about gluten free but went into the kitchen to ask the chef about which foods were gluten free and how safely they were prepared. I got the tortilla soup which was delicious!! Their chips are also cooked in a separate fryer. Overall a good experience.
Yes
Asked the hostess about gluten free all she could tell us was to ask the waitress. When we got seated we asked the waitress if the chips were gluten free she said yes but when I asked if they were fried in the same oil as other food she also said yes. So we got up and left.

Wonderful meal, wonderful service! Visiting from out of town, and I told our server I hadn’t been able to eat fresh chips and salsa in a restaurant safely since my diagnosis about 3 years ago. She packed up a huge bag of both for me to take with me. So kind!
Yes
Giving them 3 stars because this place has always been one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the city and what I believe happened was an isolated incident. I noted the fajitas weren’t marked GF so I asked if they could be made GF. Our server originally said no but then came back a few minutes later and said yes the kitchen can modify to be GF. Great, right? So I ordered and when they came out I took 2 bites of the tortilla and realized it was flour (I thought it was white corn). I flagged the server who confirmed they were flour so then I asked why if I ordered the dish to be GF. Her response was that only the chicken was modified to be GF and they come with flour tortillas. I guess I was supposed to specify that I needed corn tortillas. However I thought common sense would prevail here and that would be an automatic modification. So I guess just be extra diligent when ordering. Chips are fried in a dedicated fryer and margaritas are delicious at least.
Super yummy fresh corn tortillas. Beef barbacoa tacos were quite good. Would definitely return.
Several GF options. Waiter was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about shared fryers and such. We had ordered queso and chips but he came back to advise he checked and chips were in a shared fryer and queso was not GF.
I ate here with my daughter, I’m Celiac. The waitress reassured me that the chips are gluten free. I ordered the chicken fajitas minus the tortillas (personal choice) and my daughter had the kids enchilada with rice and beans. Food was good. Waitress Rae was awesome!
Yes
Delicious! The menu has items marked as ‘ask server about gf options’ - when I did ask he let me know what I ordered would be gluten free. I had no reactions and loved the food. The chips and salsa were delicious too.
Yes
Gf noted on Reg menu. Server was knowledgeable. Chips aren’t gluten free (fried in shared fryer) but there were several options for lunch. I had fish tacos with corn tortillas and they were excellent.
Knowledgeable about gluten and cc. Had chips with queso and guacamole, both were awesome. Limited gf lunch items but had chicken fajitas, with one of the best corn tortillas i have ever had.
In Columbus from out of town and tried this resturant based solely on the information in this app. What a FIND!
Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The menu has many items marked as GF and our server said that there are additional items that the chef can modify to make GF as well.
I know some of the older reviews say the chips are not safe but about six months ago the general manager made several changes at this resturant to accommodate a wider range of dietary need and among those changes they added a fryer dedicated for just their corn chips. They were light and crisp and delicious!
I cannot remember the name of my meal but it was a chili relleno stuffed with shrimp, mushrooms, and zucchini on a bed of cilantro lime rice and street corn drizzled with a white creamy sauce. Divine!

Outstanding! Educated, friendly, accommodating for gluten sensitive and celiac. Use separate fryers and kitchen area. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Explained how they prepared the food - Evan when they served it to us!

Did not find the staff to be knowledgeable at all Sick for days....

Knowledge seems to vary from server to server, but the menu is clearly marked which items can made or all already gf. Never had a problem with a reaction and have eaten here several times. The guacamole and corn chips are the best.
Yes
It was really good! All gluten free items were marked on the menu and the chips were fried in a dedicated fryer so safe there. I got the chicken fajitas with corn tortillas. It’s a little pricey but food & service were worth it. Also when I talked to the kitchen manager earlier he said even if it’s not marked gluten free on the menu they could make almost anything with some modifications. I didn’t want to stray just to be safe but you could try....
Yes
The fresh tortilla chips are NOT SAFE. Shared fryer. They were happy to bring me fresh soft tortilla shells instead. (Chips and Salsa are free as were my shells) They prepared my food in a separate location in the “back”. I enjoyed the chicken soft shell tacos and the guacamole is not to be missed! At least 6 GF options available. Alert your server to your GF status and you’ll be safely fed.
