they have great GF buns or lettuce "buns". they have a seperate menu for gluten sensitive people, and have always done a good job with cooking the food safely with no cross contamination for people with celiac. i have celiac and i have never gotten sick here. they have burger and salad options, and fruit salad or chips for a side. the staff has always been great too! probably my favorite place to get a burger!!

From the GF menu, I had a create-your-own-salad with lots of fixings and Angus beef patty as protein plus homemade lemon Greek dressing. It was so good! We’ll be back!

If getting take out, check your order before you leave. We got home and our gluten-free burger had a regular bun. (Good advice for any restaurant.)

The waitress was very understanding. She checked with the bartender about a cider, and then told me she also double checked by googling the brewery for me. They had a GF menu. I ordered a salad and she said the chicken is cooked in a separate pan and she has a “button” to push with the order to notify chef of celiac. She said all the salad ingredients are separately located too. The side of homemade potato chips were tasty too. It was my first meal out since being diagnosed and I would say it was a success đ

Went here with some friends for dinner. They have a separate gluten-free menu when asked and the server was sure to note my allergy. While the fries are disappointingly not gluten-free the chips were very good. I like that they offer them and the fruit salad as a gluten-free side without an upcharge. The burger was just alright. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back, but I would go back if others wanted to.

Food is always good here, and my daughter didn’t get sick. They have a “gluten-friendly” menu. I hate that wording, but at least they are trying. They don’t offer a way to specify allergies/celiac on an online order, so I called after placing the order and asked them to tell the kitchen to use their allergy protocols. They said they would.

I was never a fan of burgers but my bf took me here and now this is one of our favorite spots. The food is always great and they make sure to mark that I have Celiac/red flag the order so the kitchen knows to change their gloves and so on. There was one time I went where they accidentally gave me a regular bun because the waitress forgot to hit the gf bun option but it’s bound to happen when you go out to eat at least once (always check). Other than that the staff is usually attentive to my needs and I definitely recommend this establishmentđđź

Yes I had to stress I have a severe allergy just to make sure the kitchen is informed and I knew what was safe after years of eating at the Charlotte location. It’s amazing for a burger. Don’t let 1 review steer you away. I always will double check at every restaurant

My 10 year old got the 7 oz burger on a gluten free bun with a side of fruit. They do not have a dedicated fryer so fruit is the only side dish available . The burger was very good. They have a kids menu but are unable to do the kids burger with a gluten free bun, so you have to order off the regular menu.

They do have GF buns but the servers don't seem to understand what GF means. Will also add they tried to seat me in a booth and I'm in a wheelchair...when I said I would need a table they just threw the menus on the table nearest me and walked away...which started my distrust. Won't be returning. Bathrooms are also completely inaccessible.

I had a burger on a lettuce wrap which was very good. They do have a GF bun available but I didn’t try it. There is not a dedicated fryer, so there are not a lot of “side” options to go with your burger. The waiter was at least knowledgeable enough to tell me not to order anything from the fryer, and they do have individually bagged chips if you order chips as a side. There are not a lot of choices, but the burger is good and I have had no issues both times I have eaten there.

Bad Daddy's is our go-to GF restaurant. They have amazing burgers and have GF buns. Many years ago they made their own GF buns but now use a distributor as they’ve franchised and gotten bigger. They also have GF beer. The servers and managers are knowledgable A gal named Corey developed the GF menu and used to bar tend at the East Blvd location. She's very helpful!

Called in a phone order for takeout. The person I spoke with on the phone was very knowledgeable. They offer a gluten-free patty with no seasoning and a gluten-free bun which was very good. They use a clean pan for the patty. Many of their sauces contain gluten. They do not have a dedicated fryer so the tater tots and fries are not safe. They have bagged potato chips which are gluten-free. The custard they use in their milkshakes contain gluten. My celiac daughter enjoyed her burger and did not get glutened

Asked for gluten-free menu when seated. Waiter took order and on finishing asked degree of gluten concern. When I stated celiac, he told me that he would ensure that food was prepared with dedicated pans. Was knowledgeable and attentive.

I’ve been to Bad Daddy’s more times than I can count over the past couple years and it is one of my favorite gluten free burger places. I absolutely love their gluten free bun and their burgers are delicious. The only thing I’d suggest you be aware of is there have been a few times they have toasted my bun in the same toaster as wheat buns, so make sure you clarify you have an allergy not just a preference. The few times this has happened they have gladly remade it and given me a discount. They also recently added steamed broccoli to their choice of gluten free sides along with fruit and chips. As much as I wish the fries were an option, they are not safe due to cross contamination. I’ve been here almost weekly for the past couple years and have never gotten sick, would highly recommend!!

They have cape cod chips from a bag, fruit, build your own salad and build your own burger. I tried to ask questions, waitress was really rude. Food came out wrong, and my boyfriends Mac and cheese tasted like Chinese buffet Mac and cheese.

They seem out of practice at Gf due to covid distractions. Waitresses know some, but they have multiple people filling a simple order, and so what was supposed to be a bag of chips came out in a bowl. While all my attention was on the bun, manager ran out to take the chips. They’d been refried in dirty oil. I asked to see their gf buns. Sealed in plastic. Texture and flavor will make you think there has been an error. Really good burger and bun.
Buns unbelievable. Burger meat wonderful. If you order medium it is pink throughout. Rarer than most places, but great.
I didn’t see Red Bridge.

Create a salad or a burger! The waitress was pretty knowledgeable about what contained gluten or not. On the sauce she wasn’t sure about, she went and asked. The chili cheese burger was amazing! I asked several times to verify the bun was gf because it was so good. The sides cannot be made gf because they don’t have separate fryers. I was served a bag of gf chips though!
Gluten friendly menu; great burgers; delicious pimento cheese that’s gluten free

Be careful. I don’t know how they did it, but 30 minuets after eating a half of a GF burger and fruit I found myself horribly glutened for the second time.

My daughter and myself have Celiac, and we’ve eaten here several times with no reactions!

They have a GF menu which includes 2 appetizers and then the GF options from the build your own burger and build your own salad menus. This includes a GF bun, a lettuce wrap, and no bun.
I wasn’t totally confident they knew what they were doing but it was a good burger and I didn’t get sick. It is a bit expensive by the time you add extra for the gf bun and ‘premium’ sides but not unreasonable.
Great gluten free burger place any burger can be made gluten free, not many gluten free appetizers or desserts.

Servers confirmed this place is not Celiac safe

The service was as excellent! They have a HF beer and amazing GF buns. I would highly recommend it.
Gluten free menu, gluten free buns and gluten free chips. Lots of options to build your own burger or salad. Great service! Definitely will come again.

Gf hamburgers on Pure Knead Buns. No dedicated fryer, but they have gf chips in a bag.

Great atmosphere! I had a very celiac friendly experience! Would definitely recommend this place!
Yes
Staff very friendly, well informed about gluten allergy and they make every effort to accommodate. No dedicated fryer so avoid fries if you are worried about cross contamination. Great choice if you are in downtown Raleigh.
I had a burger with gf bun and fruit. Hour later was very sick. Not celiac friendly.

I was going to lunch with a large group of coworkers and I’m recently diagnosed so asking a bunch of questions and making a fuss in front of my peers is still embarrassing for me. I called twice to ask questions (spoke to the bartender Mike who was wonderful). They have extremely good practices against cross contamination, extremely knowledgable on the disease. When the waiter came to take my order, he told me he already knew it was for an “allergy”. So not only was the staff amazing, but the food was DELICIOUS! Best GF bun I’ve had and the chips & pimento cheese are AMAZING! Felt very safe and included eating there.

Unfortunately this restaurant gave me the worst reaction I ever had. I also ordered a salad which was even more disappointing when I got sick!
