Separate menu. Wait staff couldn’t have been more cautious. The manager took my order and told me to either he or one other staff member would bring my food. My placemat was marked GF. They were knowledgable and made me feel looked after. Reassurance given on cross contamination.
Had a lovely meal here on Saturday evening. There is a gluten free menu with plenty of choice. I was informed that the meal would be slightly longer, as everything is cleaned and prepared separately, whether you have a gluten intolerance, as I do or coeliac. The food was delicious! I would highly recommend.
Separate gluten free menu, the manager takes your order and I felt very safe eating here. The food was pretty bland/mediocre though. I got the ramen and I probably wouldn’t get it again. But my husband got a gluten dish off the menu and also felt it was bland/underwhelming, didn’t taste as good as it looked.
been here lots and always had a good experience, never been poorly afterwards just very full! own seperate gf menu, not loads of choices but a bit of variety over dishes. managers are the only ones allowed to take order and bring food to you. they do state it is an open kitchen however they do everything they can to minimise cross contamination, clean cutlery and seperate pans etc. offered me gf soy sauce. gave me clean cutlery to eat from. lovely meals every time :)
Second time eating here and cannot fault Wagamamas in the outlet. A manager takes your order and the order is made by the head chef/manager in the kitchen. The area is cleaned down and precautions are taken. However, the kitchen is shared and there are cross contamination risks but I am very sensitive and have never gotten bad. Tasty food and recommend the chicken ramen and prawns đŚ
Awesome experience at Wagamama’s Holborn. They mentioned they could not *guarantee* no cross contamination, but had every procedure imaginable to prevent it, including changing utensils, gloves, pans. You get a special allergy sticker and they have a no gluten menu. I’ve eaten here many times, super sensitive celiac, and no problems ever. They are extremely kind and the food is delicious! Love the chicken raisukuree!
as someone who’s been celiac for 13 years wagas is always a go to - the staff are knowledgeable and ask about allergies as soon as you enter. i will say the menu isn’t as big as it could be but all the food they do have is flavourful and doesn’t feel like you’re missing out. i’ve been going here for years and i’ve never had a reaction. my mum is also allergic to shellfish and they’re always good with our many allergies. amazing staff, good food 10/10 recommend

Was a bit of a muck around - for there & was told it was “cash only” (we had literally just changed all our GBP into a new currency…) so had to go find an ATM, pay the extra money to get cash out.
Then upon payment, they said we could pay by card…. Annoying to have wasted the ATM fee for nothing.
But that doesn’t affect the food!
Great experience! Staff asked right away about any allergies. When I explained about being GF they had excellent knowledge and gave me great confidence that they knew what they were doing. Special menu had plenty of options and meal was delicious. Could not fault the entire experience.
As in other Wagamama reviews manager took out order and head chef cooked order. We got a special ticket on menu to alert staff to allergies. It was my daughter’s first meal out after diagnosis and she was chuffed with attention. Small kids GF menu but managed to find something she liked. Staff were so kind, caring and friendly. Would return in a heart beat. They really take allergies seriously.
Really liked this place. As a person who also has a soy allergy, there was only one thing I could have, but it was fabulous! My son and daughter have multiple allergies and had plenty of choices. Will definitely be going back. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
I am a difficult eater. I get sick from gluten, and Nightshade plants. The greeter gave me a GF menu at the entrance. A manager, Donata, took my order. She checked 3 times with the chef, who decided to just make me a specially cooked dish of salmon, rice noodles, and mixed veggies, with tamari on the side. SO much care taken, and no one ever made me feel like a burden. Incredibly kind. AND it was delicious! Perfectly cooked!
