I got really sick from here and I’m racking my brain over how that happened. They have items marked as gluten free and I informed the server of my gluten allergy. Even after an abundance of caution I got extremely sick! I have no idea how other than cross contamination or items are actually not gluten free… which would be just terrible. Proceed with caution at this restaurant. Wait staff make it sound like they are knowledgeable but I don’t think so.

This restaurant is our favorite. They are always accommodating to our gluten free requests. We have never gotten sick eating here. We are not celiac though.

Wow the seafood here is excellent! They made both mine and my partner’s dish safe for me to eat so we could share our food. Nice portion size. They have a good drink menu as well!

Confirmed with server they could do gluten free, ordered that, it showed up, I ate several bites, they rushed back and said don’t eat it it’s the gluten one. Wouldn’t recommend if celiac, too much risk.

We have been here a few times… the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about celiac disease. When notified of a celiac, they make sure to use clean pans, gloves, etc . I’ve never been gluten-bombed here, and have always enjoyed my experience. Thank you Anthony’s Bremerton!

Very good meal. Many menu items can be prepared GF. Server was knowledgeable regarding GF options. Dinner- seafood pasta and a Caesar salad (both items amended to GF). Yummy!!

Ordered a Caesar salad off of their “Gluten free” menu and made sure to CLEARLY state that I could not have gluten or any cross contamination. I was assured that there were no croutons on the salad and then went to take a bite. I spit out my food so quickly when I saw A CROUTON. They quickly took it back and apologized but I could hear the kitchen talking trash about my situation. They comped my meal but I am not happy.

Been a while since the latest review so hopefully this will help a bit. Visited a couple nights ago and after calling to confirm practices and safety, decided to go for dinner. Both kids have Celiac and really enjoyed their crab fettuccine, dungeness crab dinner bites from mom, steak/potato from me (make sure to ask for GF of this since they put fried onions on top of you don't!) and desserts of creme brulee and chocolate mousse without any illness afterwards. Server was very accommodating (though disrespectful to my Celiac children by saying to the table "good news is the bread is delicious, bad news is you can't have any." Please keep your snarky comments to yourself.) Overall, most important thing is that they were safe so overall a very good experience.

wonderful place to dine with friends. Haven’t been for a while and noticed portions are about 1/2 of what they used to be. Eat a little before you go. G-F feels safe and choices are decent except no GF bread choices.

Informed server, she was informative, items on the menu are marked if they can be made GF. Did get the salmon which wasn't marked GF but she checked first but I was offered a fallback which I chose as the burger as they have GF buns. Salmon was made and great.

The staff is not knowledgeable AT ALL. The water seemed put out by us asking him to verify that things were gf. They brought my gf meal out with fried wontons. While they did correct the meal, it sure made me nervous to eat it. I won’t know until later if I was glutened.

Took our grandparents here for a special occasion. Usually when we are in town we go to Arnies but had made reservations too late and managed to get a table at Anthony’s instead.
The restaurant itself was beautiful looking out over the water but I was not impressed with the service. The hostesses didn’t seem to want to greet us. And the servers seemed annoyed.
The food itself was good but I think we still all enjoyed Arnies more that has just as many if not more gf items.

Food was delicious and the server assured us the kitchen staff would make any and all modifications needed to our order. He was correct… the substituted items to make our meals gluten free. Good food and great location.

When informed that you are celiac, the waitstaff and kitchen are super careful to make sure you receive a completely Gluten free meal.. I’ve never gotten sick and have been eating there for years..however, I’m extremely careful about what I order and know exactly how I want my meal prepared. I love their fried oysters (a favorite from my pre-celiac days) and I know they are fried in a separate pan along with any sides.. All of their fish is fantastic..

If you’re looking for some fresh local fish this is a great spot! Gluten free items clearly marked on the menu. Halibut, Rockfish, Alaskan fish, salmon, several salads on the menu! It came with yummy veggies and rice! I’m celiac and felt great after!

The staff will make almost any item on the menu totally gluten free when told that you are celiac. Very accommodating. Never had a problem eating there.

Their salmon is the best I’ve had anywhere! My favorite dinner is the Northwest Duet which is Salmon with Oregon Bay Shrimp. It’s served with Jasmine Rice with Almonds and Raisins and Green Beans or Squash. A great deal on the Early Dinner Menu where you get the entree with appetizer, salad or soup and dessert for $24.95.
GF is indicated on Anthony’s menus and the waitstaff is very knowledgeable.
PS. December 2019, early dinner price for this entree has increased to $29.95.

Was wonderful, but SeaTac kicked them out.

I mentioned “Celiac” and the hostess, waitress and manager were immediately responsive. They were careful and communicated with me and each other. They answered all my questions. I was treated with respect. My food was delicious!! GF pasta and shrimp!!
Yes
Warning folks. They do have many gf options but do NOT have dedicated fryers. I got excited thinking I could have fish and chips until I looked in the kitchen and asked. Opted for Louise salad. Tons of crab and shrimp.
Yes
This was my first time eating here and it was great. The have a good variety of gluten free food, and they were knowledgeable of what celiac is. I got penne noodles with dungeons crab and creamy garlic sauce which was great and got some peach ice cream with fresh peaches on top for dessert. Will definetly return and I didn’t get sick at all from here.
Yes
Pretty sure they shut down...please verify and remove them.
Gluten free items clearly marked. Understanding of cross contamination. Great seafood and fantastic location on the lake!
Yes
Staff seemed knowledgeable but I ordered the GF Mac and cheese and was sick within 20 minutes. Must be some cross contamination issues or something...because I am definitely sick.
The menu indicates gluten free and vegan items and they were happy to make modifications. Always fresh food in an upscale restaurant. Window seating overlooking a lake, and outdoor seating with a fire pit in summer.
Yes
Good choice of gluten-free breakfasts and more then happy to substitute the cake that comes with them. Bonus was the timely fashion the meal was delivered :)
Delicious gluten free options though I did experience cross-contamination symptoms.
Great food! Many dishes can be made gluten free.
Got sick here but normally don't. Even told them I'm celiac and ordered a GF meal. More than a cross contamination issue. DON'T GO.
No
Delicious food! All GF options are clearly marked on the menu, all you have to do is ask for the GF version. Beautiful views of the harbor while you eat too!
Yes
GF symbols listed on menu very clearly. Replacements for GF pasta are easily made. Only 2 GF desserts. Of course the food is fabulous, but happy to see GF options!!
Yes
Tasty timely breakfast. They were happy to substitute coffee cake for avocado.
son who is celiac had no issues
Ate here passing through Seattle. Was a little concerned based on recent reviews. I did not encounter any of the previously reported issues. Server understood gf - recommended the BBQ Prawns and they were great. Very spicy so be forewarned. They can do more gf items than their menu suggests. It is pricey so be prepared to spend 25-30 per dinner before drinks. I would eat here again.
Yes
Not celiac friendly. I watched them make my tacos and they bought the gluten free taco right on the stove the we’re cooking the wheat tacos on, had to throw them out. Glad I caught it and didn’t eat it. Sad :(
No
Just had the shrimp fettuccine as gluten free; great taste and texture. Horever there was cross contamination. Probably from the fry batter Station next to the sauce Station in the kitchen. Fairly priced.
No
No bread, no fryer, but salmon and vegetables were delicious both times and I didn’t get sick!! I have to go dairy free and they accommodated. No deserts.
Yes
Best airport food ever!! Great seafood, great view.
Amazing GF mac and cheese with bay shrimp! GF listed on the menu! Fries are not GF and neither is the clam chowder.
The fish was yummy! Would go back.
I specifically told the waiter I had Celiac and had to have the meal GF, the meal was brought with wheat fried wontons. He took it back & brought back the same plate with less wontons on it!! I sent it back & asked for a 3rd time to have a fresh salad made! They don't care & there aren't many GF choices.

Limited menu. So many items could be gluten free. When I look at the menu I kind of feel like I am being punished for having a food sensitivity. I asked the waitress about a couple of items on the main menu and she had to go talk to the kitchen every time. I end up with very high anxiety. When I relate this frustration to the wait staff she basically says take it up with the management so I will. A simple gf next to menu items that could be modified would be so nice. I had a choice of two starters, a salad with a vinaigrette dressing or shrimp. The meals are very pared down, from sh, rice, and veg. Nothing special. I will make it at home.
