Perry’s was fantastic! I felt super safe, so many options marked on the menu, there are options for every course, and the manager comes out to talk to you for allergies. Highly recommend for special occasions.

Superb dining experience. Personally, I think it is worth the for the delicious food and safety. Three separate managers came to check in on us and verify allergy and order. I had the steak with crab, corn, Brulé, and mashed potatoes with the toppings on the side, and it was all delicious with no symptoms afterwards. Recommendations were great you can tell it’s an establishment that takes allergies into consideration.

Celiacs be warned! Yes, Perry's has a marked menu of "gluten-friendly" options, but if you have Celiac disease like me, you need to tell your waiter that you're Celiac.
We went to Perry's Steakhouse for Father's Day yesterday. I ordered the symphony kabob ($65) that's supposed to come with truffle merlot demiglace and peppercorn reduction sauce. This is marked as "gluten-friendly" yet when my meal came out, I didn't receive the two sauces. The waiter told me that the chef said they're not gluten-free because they contain soy sauce.
While my waiter knew his stuff & asked me if I'd like a lemon butter sauce, if you don't speak up and mention your exact autoimmune disease, you might be glutened if only looking for the "gluten-friendly" sign on the menu.
"Gluten-friendly" should be for foods not made in a shared fryer, pot of boiling water and without gluten ingredients but in a shared kitchen where cross contamination cannot be 100% guaranteed. It should not be used for items that contain gluten in their ingredients.
This is a bad practice by @perrys_steakhouse to include something with gluten in it and have it marked with that symbol because not everyone speaks English and may just be looking for the symbol and not everyone is comfortable discussing their medical issues in front of others (especially if you're at a business dinner) and may just assume a marked item on the menu is safe.
You wouldn't mark an item as "seafood free" and include fish sauce in the ingredients because you're catering to people who don't like fish rather than people who have to avoid it for medical reasons, so in the same vein, marked gluten-friendly/free products shouldn't contain gluten ingredients in them either.
I love going to Perry's, our meal was fantastic and I wasn't glutened thanks to me disclosing my autoimmune disease prior to ordering, but this is a safety issue that should be addressed by corporate.
***
In other notes, the corn brulee is an item we hadn't ordered in the past and OMG it was fantastic. That's going on the regular rotation just like the pork chop and creamed spinach.

Wait staff seemed to be knowledgeable about gluten free and said the restaurant takes it seriously. Food was delicious, we had a set menu as it was a company event. I had their wedge salad, no blue cheese, their famous pork chops, with carrots, scalloped potatoes, and pan fried brussel sprouts (the grilled ones are cross contaminated). For dessert we had the bananas fosters. I would caution if you get a mixed drink you have the wait staff double check with the bar, apparently they can't make a gluten free mojito as they put ginger beer in it... Not sure why I could not be left out but, apparently it couldn't be made without it.

Went to Perry’s restaurant for a 50th wedding anniversary party tonight. This was our first time. Well let me tell you they set the standards for Gluten free friendly restaurants. The menu is all labeled for GF. I felt very safe eating here tonight. I have never seen so many choices, even the deserts. Alex the waiter was very knowledgeable about GF. He knows his job very well. He spoke to Kendall (his manager) about my gluten allergy. After we put our orders in Kendall came out and told me he discussed my allergy with the entire kitchen staff and we will not have any issues. I highly recommend this restaurant as Gluten Friendly!!! You have to try their pork chops. They just earned a new customer tonight.

The manager came over to my table after ordering and confirmed that I had celiac before going over all sides that had been ordered for the table and confirming if I could or could not eat them. It made me feel very safe eating there since they made a point to have someone in management come over (not my waiter!)

I'm celiac.I've eaten at Perry's for about 15 years. If you let them know you're Celiac they're very accommodating.

Definitely got glutened. Everything is marked gluten friendly, there are so many options too. I told the waitress when we sat down and as I ordered about my celiac too. I ate bacon wrapped shrimp, a filet, lobster tail and loaded whipped potatoes. All of which are marked. Not sure which one got me but within an hour I was sick. Very unfortunate.

Horrible for two reasons: 1. All menu items are clearly marked gf, but there was cross- contamination in the kitchen. I was sick after eating dinner here. I know my body well enough to know that I was “glutenized ”. 2. The service was horrible. We were a party of two, and to the right and left of us there were parties of 15+. Both parties arrived shortly after we ordered. We ordered, and about 15 minutes later, a second server came out to take our order. There was a medical emergency with the first server. When our food finally came out, one item was wrong. We ordered the side portion, not the entree portion. When we told the second server, the check was not adjusted. I tired to talk to manager, but the manager was busy with the medical emergency. I called to complain the next day, but honestly, since I was sick after eating there, I never want to go to that place again!

2022 Update:
I recently went here again for a work dinner & played it safe with a steak & the root vegetables. No issues!
Original 2019 Review:
I ate here a couple weeks ago with a large group, so I was a bit on-guard at first. But everything was terrific! I clarified the waiter understood the difference between celiac/intolerance, and from that point on he was super helpful. Great example: There were no GF dessert options on our group's reduced menu, which didn't bother me so I didn't say anything. The waiter/kitchen went out of their way to bring me a nice bowl of fruit, totally out of the blue! I thought that was awesome, that they go so above and beyond.

Not impressed. The manager or whoever she was (she didn’t introduce herself) literally had no clue about allergens. She had to go back to the kitchen and “call the head chef” three times. I tried to order the lunch special pork chop, which is labeled gluten free in the menu. I asked for it to be gluten free and dairy free, so no butter and grilled veggies instead of mashed potatoes. This manager lady told me they “weren’t able to make the pork chop gluten free” and I showed her it’s literally labeled gluten free in the menu. She had no idea. Then I had THREE different servers try to bring me a pork chop covered in butter and with mashed potatoes.
I didn’t feel safe eating there because they were so clueless. I eventually got what I ordered and it tasted pretty good but I was very anxious and won’t go back. Also, if you get it to go, they take your food back to the kitchen to box it up. I know that’s the “fancy” way of doing it but it’s one more chance for a server to mess it up or use a utensil from someone else’s plate.

I’ve had good experiences with them, dining in, but be forewarned that if you order for delivery on a service like DoorDash, they will throw a giant piece of bread in the same container as your entree even if that item is marked GF. There’s nowhere to indicate whether you want to omit the bread, and they don’t accept special requests. Had a long talk with the manager today and told him that they were going to get people extremely sick with this practice. The bread looked like it may have been GF, and I’m sure that not everyone would’ve called.

Perry’s is our go-to for a more upscale date night. Their gluten-free items are clearly marked, and the manager has always come to speak to me afterwards to explain what specific precautions are being taken in the kitchen. Typically I order the lobster bisque, the famous Perry’s pork chop, and share a bananas foster with my spouse. Their steaks are also among the best in the area. I just really love the pork chop that much!
Want the luxury without the price? Go for the pork chop special on Fridays. It’s $17 on Friday and can be split among two people (and I say this as someone who doesn’t normally share food). They also have a 3-course special on Sundays that includes carving the pork chop table-side.
(Note: I mark restaurants as 4-stars for safety if they take incredible precautions but are not an entirely gluten-free restaurant.)

Some of the staff is very knowledgeable about gluten and food allergies. We sat at the bar before dinner and had drinks and NY strip carpaccio. Our bartender was fantastic and noted my Gluten and Dairy allergies on the order for the carpaccio, and radio-ed the kitchen to let them know. The dish came out and had what appeared to be parmesan all over the top. I said to the server, oh that looks like cheese and she replied, "yes! Parmesan!" I say I can't have that as cheese is dairy. She takes the plate to the back and comes back and tells us it's horseradish not parm. I had my husband taste test it to be sure and it was horseradish. Then we sit down for dinner. Our waiter was fantastic and knowledgeable. I ordered as simply as possible- an 8oz. Filet and grilled vegetables. I let him know my allergies and request the steak be cooked in olive oil with just salt and pepper. The good comes out. Servers bring an extra steak that is topped with garlic butter and put it in front of me. We all know it isn't correct so they take that one back and put the other steak in front of me. It has some sort of sauce on it. I ask what the sauce is. One of the servers says soy sauce. I ask if they can double check since mine is supposed to be gf df and no sauce. She comes back and says it soy oil. Then our waiter looks at her and says they don't have soy anything in the restaurant. So they deduce its likely coconut aminos, which is typically safe for me but with all the conflicting information I didn't feel comfortable eating it. They take it back and remake my filet, had a manager supervise the cooking and brought it out. In the end I didn't get glutened or dairy-ed. But I would be very wary of eating here in the future.

We went here for a much anticipated celebration and were so excited to try Perry's. The food was great, but unfortunately my gluten free onion soup came out with bread baked in the bottom, which I discovered while eating it. I had specified to our waitress multiple times that all of my food needs to be gluten free and that I had celiac disease. On the menu, the items were labeled gluten free with modification which is why I was so specific. Our waitress did not realize there was two categories and rang it in without an allergy notice. The waitress was very apologetic and brought me a new soup, but our meal had already been ruined. Even after the soup incident and the staff knowing I had eaten some, my entree came out with gluten containing chips on top, when it should have also been gluten free with modification. Not once did a manager come over to apologize which was extremely disappointing given the amount of money we spent and how sick this mistake made me. Perry's needs to train their servers better with regards to allergens, especially when clearly labeling the menu. Unfortunately this small mistake ruined a very highly anticipated retirement celebration.

Absolutely fabulous! The gluten free menu is right on and never got sick! Get the lobster bisque
Had the steak filet mignon, vegan green tartar, and steamed brocolli from the GF menu. Food was very good and cooked perfectly but lacked the "wow" factor I personally wanted. I told the waiter about my allergies/intolerances to soy, wheat, yeast, shrimp, and gluten and they were able to accommodate each one. Good news for celiacs, no reactions. I usually get something because of cross contamination but it seems like they were very careful in the kitchen cause I had none. Thumbs up. What I didn't like was the fact that the utensils were NOT cleaned. Both times I requested replacements they were dirty. That's unacceptable for a higher end restaurant.
And just warning for celiacs, the steamed veggies may come with some type of butter/herb spread. Make sure to request whether you want that or not. I don't like herb/butter spreads because of the potential for soybean being used. This time I had no reaction and was fine but other times have been worse which is why I stay away. They swore what I ate was just the water runoff from the broccoli but I know better. But other than that, everything was okay.

Great GF menu! Amazing food.
Very nice place / decor waiter staff manager very friendly . Waiter via the bartender not understanding what gluten-free beer is . But they have a huge wine menu and dedicated gluten free menu. Plus the restaurant was only two blocks from my hotel!
Knowledgeable about gf options, steak is great. Pricey.
My steak w/ crabmeat topping was out of this world! They provided some drawn butter to substitute for the steak butter. ** note - dessert menu has errors! Many items were marked "*can be prepared gluten free upon request." Two of us ordered the bananas foster flambé. As I watched this being prepared table side, I questioned if they were making two separate orders, one regular and one gluten-free. A manager was brought over and told me the only GF desserts they have are fresh berries. SO glad I thought to question this. He seemed very concerned regarding the error in their menu notation, so hopefully this will be corrected.
