Super comforting bowl, especially when you're facing decision fatigue and don't want to stare at a long menu. They have 1 option in different sizes and you can omit toppings if you choose. I love the hot sauce selection and always get Tortilla chips to add some crunch to it!

They only have one dish in two sizes but it tastes great! You can add things and remove what you want from the dish. It tastes great and was super filling. Not open on weekends however.

This place is great. My partner and I were visiting Portland and searching everywhere for a place to eat breakfast that wasn’t insanely busy. Eventually it was past breakfast hours and we were frustrated and hangry. Grabbed two bowls from the whole bowl and it tasted so good. Super filling too, didn’t need to eat anything for the rest of the day. Definitely going back next time we’re heading home from the city.

I didn’t actually get the chance to eat here, but supposedly dedicated, gluten-free. I would not consider it dedicated gluten-free since they do not use certified gluten-free ingredients, i.e. the soy that is in their sauce, they could not guarantee that it was gluten-free soy, and the salsa that they use has distilled vinegar in it. Most distilled vinegar is corn-based which means that it’s cross contaminated. I always get sick from things like this, so had to decline eating here even though I had driven over here, especially to eat here close to my doctors appointment.

Kind of like the old model T. You can have any color you want as long as it's black. They have one dish here, and they do it very well. I'm a meat + sugar lover, but they managed to still satisfy me pretty well. They've got a unique sauce, and you can top it with more (like sriracha for instance). Even have a gluten free chocolate chip cookie to finish things off with!

Doesn't seem possible to remove the dairy and be happy. I sent a feedback on their website, and tried to call just now (they might be closed I didn't look). I'm allergic to gluten, A1 cow dairy, peanuts, and corn. And am hating life...

GF AND Affordable!! They remove dairy and beans for me and add extra avo. It makes for a very ricey bowl, but for the cost, it's a great quick fix if I need one.

I am so super sensitive and have never gotten sick here! I've eaten here 4 times. I am pregnant and thought I wouldn't have any take out options for days I am just too worn out, but this place is now my go to! P.s. I get sick at most resterants from tiny amounts of cross contamination no matter how many questions I ask. It has a very limited menu. Only 1 bowl, check their website for details. I get extras and take home for the fridge for lunches.

I recently moved away from Portland, and Whole Bowl is the thing I miss most about living there. I used to drive all the way across town from Hillsboro to the Hawthorne Bowl on Sunday’s to get my fix. Just a tasty and healthy meal any time of year. (Hot tip - its only 50 cents for extra Tali sauce, always worth it!)
