My daughter and I went there for the first time today. I need to eat gluten-free. My daughter does not. I ordered the Mediterranean protein dish, my daughter ordered the Korean kick. They were both very tasty. We were not disappointed. All of their protein bowls are gluten-free. All of their drinks are gluten-free. All of their salad dressings are gluten-free. All of their salads (without croutons) are gluten-free. They have three soups that are gluten-free. Their sandwiches are not gluten-free unless you order them in a lettuce wrap. They have three deserts that are gluten-free. My daughter had the chocolate covered strawberries. I had the caramel cream Brûlée. They both were very fresh and delicious. Side note, they cannot guarantee that the food is not contaminated by gluten, so be cautious.

Café Zupas gluten-free menu

All protein bowls, salads, salad dressings, and drinks are gluten-free.

The employees are willing to change their gloves. It is an open kitchen, so there is the possibility of cross-contact. They have many options available to all sorts of dietary restrictions. Any sandwiches can be made on a bed of chopped greens, they are willing to tell you what is in the dressings on the salads and in the spreads on the sandwiches, they have four soups, plus a seasonal, that are gluten free (chicken noodle with no egg noodles). They are super chill about telling you what's in anything.

I did get practically yelled at once here by an overzealous manager who seemed eager to point out they have bread there and can’t guarantee there will be no cross contamination. However on subsequent visits, the staff was friendly. I feel it is generally ok because the salad bar is separate from the soup and bread section, but of course there is a risk of cross contamination . I usually just get a protein and quinoa bowl, if I go here. I don’t go too often.

Fast casual salad/bowls/sando spot with food assembly line service. Familiar concept but good for a quick and healthy meal. Service was friendly. Bowls and salads were safe for most part. Maybe even some soups (didn’t ask). Sandwiches off limits I think (didn’t ask about breads).

The staff member who helped me instantly knew which items were gluten free. She was super helpful. They had 5 or 6 gf soups and a bunch of salad and protein bowl options. My protein bowl was made in the to-go container so everything was separate. I will be back.

I’ve been here twice and had good luck. The same person has taken my order and been friendly and accommodating. The staff that prepare my order each changed gloves and made sure no bread was put on my tray. Food is very fresh and delicious. Today I got the southwest bowl and southwest chicken chili.

Gluten Intolerant

They do not have a dedicated gluten free menu, but the staff was incredibly nice and looked up ingredients for me so I could make safe decisions on what to eat. They prep all food in an open kitchen so there is possible cross contamination but I had no issues.

I have eaten here and never gotten sick, there is that risk because it is an open kitchen. But they are really good about switching their gloves and everything.

Had the bbq chicken salad, and was sick within an hour. I don’t know if the bbq has soy sauce or if there was cross contamination else where.

Quinoa bows and salads are great. You also watch them make it, so I knew there’s no cross contamination.

They have food without gluten but can't guarantee there's no cross-contamination.

This is the rudest company I have ever come across when it comes to allergies. They refuse to tell you any items that do not contain wheat as an ingredient because they claim they are worried about cross contamination. I couldn't even get an answer on any salad dressing that did not contain gluten.

Staff could not tell me any ingredients of the menu items and said they could not guarantee my SALAD would be ok. You have to BEG them to leave the stupid roll off your plate, they keep pushing it on you like you're crazy. "No, I don't want a roll. No, I won't change my mind. I mean it. Take the d*mn roll off my tray".

Just had the Yucatan Chicken Tortilla soup and it was wonderful. Out of 11 soups, 4 are gfree. Made to order salads with housemade dressing. I'm sure if you brought your own bun, you could have a sandwich too!
