Bellagreen was a great experience for gluten free dining. Lots of options - the food was very delicious and healthy. The fryers are dedicated GF and the staff was friendly and helpful. We’ll be back.
There are so many amazing GF dishes/options!! I’m so happy Bellagreen came to San Antonio, as I visited them in Houston and the food was incredible.
Their breakfast on the weekends was delicious and I got the GF LEMON POPPYSEED pancakes! My boyfriend has been ordering pancakes from every breakfast place since he was a child and he said these are by far his favorite pancakes yet.
The atmosphere is modern and stunning. Such a clean and contemporary establishment. The staff was so friendly and helpful. It’s a must try!

Bellagreen has become my go to place. There are so many gluten free choices and the staff is very knowledgeable. They even have an amazing gluten free carrot cake! You can enjoy a wonderful meal here and know you are well cared for.

Happy that my favorite Houston restaurant opened a Dallas Location. All pasta is GF, all fried items are GF, GF burger buns and GF pizza dough available. Awesome salads, pasta. GF carrot cake, key lime pie, creme brulee.
This is an amazing place. They have a dedicated fryer, amazing desserts and the service was great. The hostess was Zillah and she was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. We had spicy shrimp pasta, the fish tacos, cauliflower wings and pumpkin pie cheesecake. Everything was delicious.
Had the chicken tacos and some of my friend’s potato chips. Very well done! They have many gluten free options and can’t wait to try more! They said they have a dedicated frier.
Love this fresh, new bistro! Most of the menu is GF or can be made GF. The fryer is not cross-contaminated, so anything fried is truly GF. Of course I had to take advantage of the opportunity and get some sweet potato fries! Even GF pumpkin cheesecake with a coconut crust that was delicious. Everyone there was so friendly and incredibly helpful and considerate. Definitely go check this place out!
i would drive back all the way back to houston to experience the W burger again, amazing.
While absolutely delish, I was severely glutened even though I asked for specific gluten free food. I wouldn’t say it is safe if cross contamination is an issue for you.
We had such a great experience here. I ordered the fried fish tacos and the cauliflower wings. We had a hilarious experience when I sent my husband to the counter to ask if they had tartar sauce for the tacos (the sauce that came with them was good but I’m from Seattle and pregnant so the craving for fish with tartar sauce was strong š) and the girl working the counter didn’t know what tartar was š¤Ŗ she asked the chef who again questioned “tar-tar?!” lol it gave us a good laugh. Anyway, the cauliflower wings were saucy and delicious and paired so well with the mango ranch. And the tacos had lots of flavor and satisfied my craving. They had really yummy house made sodas too, which have been an infrequent treat during my pregnancy. Overall it was so nice to feel safe eating everything we ordered! I wish we had one in Washington, it would be a huge hit here.
New spotin San Antonio, although well established in Houston. Great gluten free options. Staff very educated and eager to help.
This is my FAVORITE spot to eat out. Never gotten sick, never had a dish I didn’t enjoy.

I’ve probably eaten here at least 20 times. It’s one of my go-tos! There’s so many options and I’ve tried almost everything that’s gf. The pasta is always a good choice, and the salads are really big. And definitely try the lemon poppyseed pancakes for brunch!
I’ve eaten at all their locations more than I can count. I’m very sensitive and have never had a problem. Good quality food.
So many gluten free options and very knowledgeable staff. The food that isn’t gluten free can be made gluten free, is made separately, and comes out labeled. The carrot cake was excellent, as well as the chicken parm and the fish tacos. Felt very safe eating here.
Absolutely loved this place! So much of the menu is GF!! They even have vegan cheese! I have a cheeseburger and fries and I was in HEAVEN!!
the honey crusted goat cheese and arugula salad is AMAZING and the staff are knowledgeable in gluten free. the menu has a lot of gluten free options and the ability to make almost anything gluten free. i would definitely recommend the hummus and gf pita!!
Chicken tenders from the kids menu are really good-have not been able to find better ones in Houston
Food was great, carrot cake was cloyingly sweet. Avoid the carrot cake. Hempenadas and salad and pasta I recommend!
Bella Green is hands down the best gf restaurant for celiacs in terms of variety and safety of their food! I go at least twice a month and have been to many of their locations. 100% recommend this place for celiacs and anyone on a gluten free diet. Please just be aware that NOT ALL of their menu items are gluten free but it’s easy to distinguish and feel comfortable with what you’re eating.

Bella Green definitely is a hit or miss kind of restaurant. They have so much potential but they really don’t understand cross contamination tactics. I’ve watched the staff not change gloves and handle pizza and then handle GF desserts. So disappointing. My friend went to the same location the same day I did and we both got contaminated. Not worth it!
I was happy to see many gf choices. The seasonal board included a delicious salmon, pineapple bowl with Hawaiian bbq sauce. We also enjoyed the lime cheesecake (avocado and coconut). The crust was crunchy and filling had great flavor. My plate had a gluten free card that was reassuring. Two friends who don’t need gf also enjoyed their meals.
Fabulous seasonal meal! I had a mango gazpacho and grilled pineapple arugula salad. All very fresh, with great service and lovely environment.
I've eaten a lot from Bellagreen over the years and had flawless celiac success even with delivery orders. Until, I recently got cross-contact gluten: it was a busy lunch time, I ordered and informed the clerk of my allergen. She verified the GF marked seasonal item contained GF ingredients by looking at a reference form. She did NOT type my allergen information in as they typically do at this restaurant. My food was brought out with my friend's pizza, I noticed the waitress set down the pizza plate, then moved that same bare hand to set down my plate. I assumed this was the only contact and later was careful not to use that portion of the plate. In hindsight, I should have stopped it all here.
Something else abnormal was the lack of little allergen flags on the plate which this restaurant uses to communicate & also no mention of the allergen as the food was placed.
I went and asked to speak to a manager — turns out it was the same person who took my order. I explained all the discrepancies I noticed vs my usual experience here as a celiac. She said she did not type my allergen in because she verbally told the kitchen staff. She said they are out of the little flags but assured me my meal was safe because it comes out of a box, I'm not sure what that means besides now realizing it signaled her lack of awareness of contamination potentials after something is plated. She was good at reassuring me I was safe & I chose to trust her.
Afterwards, I had cross-contamination symptoms and no other risky meals. I still get plenty sick from this and I will no longer eat at this location & going forward I'll refuse to eat when a place like this has someone not performing the typical steps.

I was amazed by how many gluten free options where in the menu and how aware staff was. I got a burger and fries and had no reaction. There are so many gluten free options. The food was very good. I’m definitely coming back.
Fantastic experience for two celiacs and the nine gluten-eaters with them. Lots of GF options, dedicated fryers, and good protocols with very evidence adherence.
My daughter liked the pizza and I liked the Wagu burger.
This is my go to when I’m being lazy and need a safe place to order Door Dash from. It’s a great place to go to as well. I feel really safe eating from them. There are so many options. It’s a pleaser for my whole family. I’m the only one with celiac. Their burgers use high quality 44 Farms beef. Everything fried is safe. They have nice healthy options too.
One of my most favorite restaurants! The staff is always so kind and accommodating. They truly understand gluten free. The pancakes are amazing, the tacos are super delicious, burgers are awesome, shrimp pasta is my fav! I highly highly highly recommend Bellgreen!
A favorite go-to place of ours. Great value and delicious gluten free options. Inexpensive for tasty filling food. All pastas are gluten free. Burger buns can be swapped in for gf, and they give a little slip marking it gluten free which is extra reassuring.
Used to LOVE eating here but ordered tonight and was given a gluten full bun on my burger. I called to make sure it was gluten free, person on the phone said it was. I called back, the manager remade it and it was a completely different bun. Be careful, don’t trust it if it doesn’t look gluten free!

I love hay their online menu has a filter option for GF items. That made it very easy to browse the menu and find what I could have, without having to look at all that I couldn’t have.
I offered the French fries and fish tacos. Both were so good. They do the fries right, not everyone does. And the fish tacos were stuffed full had this spicy sauce that I really enjoyed.
They also have outdoor seating available, which we also enjoyed.
I would definitely return.
My family loves Bella! From the lemon poppyseed pancakes, to some of the best burgers in North Texas, to the chicken salad sandwich (don't sleep on this one - it's very flavorful), the cooks don't miss. Every item we've tried has been flavorful and cooked well. Peter runs this location like a well oiled machine. The workers are friendly, and it's clean. I redeem rewards through the app often, and we've never been sick. I will say that the only item I've not cared for is the GF pizza. It lacked depth of flavor, and the sauce/cheese didn't hit for me. Everything else has been a win!

Bella green is great for gf. They have a clearly labeled menu and all the food tastes fresh. I have had the fish tacos, hamburger, and sweet potato fries. They also almost have a gf carrot cake which I usually take to go for a tasty treat later!
Menu and staff are aware of GF items. I had the Goat Cheese Salad. The service was great! I love bellagreen!
We stopped by at Bellagreen on our way to Houston and were simply amazed at how knowledgeable the staff is on food allergies. My celiac kiddo enjoyed Pulled Chicken Tacos, spicy shrimp pasta and the delicious carrot cake . Food is awesome and so is the ambience. No reaction afterwards and we even stopped by to eat here on our way back from Houston.
I love this place so much they catered my god-d*** wedding. Pizzas are good, pastas are amazing, I would try anything they made honestly. Also it’s a lovely place to sit, my husband and I came here early in our relationship and come every time we are in Dallas we just adore it. ššš

You cannot say enough about Bellagreen. Every time we come to Houston, which is about every 8 to 12 weeks we go here sometimes w 3 visits.. The location on Alabama near upper Kirby is outstanding. Outdoor seating, a happy hour to die for half off. Wines and other selections half
off appetizer is just great. The hempannadas are delicious and well worth going back for. Their salads are great and good size. Their entries are well prepared with good selections. . As far as gluten free dairy free, Whatever you need, you, tell them they will work with you on it
and get it done. The staff here at this location is outstanding and always at work with us. Don't miss out on this all the other raving you see are true. We've had to be gluten free for over twelve years and to find a location like this or any options that we wish it was close to our home.
