I was very impressed with the safety and quality of the food here. I had two amazingly tasty fish tacos with beans and rice. I can't have dairy, so they were careful to not put butter or cheese on or in my food. However, the GF tortilla chips are not good at all as they are not coated with oil before baking, so they are dry and terrible, but don't let that keep you from this wonderful restaurant.

They have a GF menu-it’s very limited. They offer baked tortilla chips, they are very dry. The queso tastes medium at best. The chicken taco I ordered on a corn tortilla tasted fishy. 3 starts because I haven’t gotten sick eating there- but there are better options around which are not overpriced like this place is.

Stopped here late on a Thursday before they closed. They have a dedicated gluten free menu which I appreciate. It mentions to ask for baked tortilla chips. It took a couple tries to get the waiter to understand what that meant but he was nice about it. The chips themselves were very stale and not worth the extra effort to get them. I had enchiladas which were tasty.

Stopped at Pappasitas to avoid traffic after visiting a relative at the hospital, and toast to my birthday. Sat at the bar and had my favorite margarita wave with sangria. Asked for the gluten free menu, which they readily provided, and the manager came out to discuss the options with me. As a Celiac, I also have other intolerances to high lactose food and most salicylates (tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant and peppers). Knowing the difficulty of preparing my food, I carry a business card I customized on Zazzle.com, which details not only what I CAN'T have but also what I CAN have. This really helps the restaurant and their willingness to help me. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp and sautéed vegetables. They were very helpful and accomodating! Greatly appreciate their willingness to serve me. They assured me they would clean the grill before preparing my meal. Service was attentative and follow up diligent to ensure my satisfaction.

Are here with my family (non Celiacs) and had a great time. When you ask for the gluten free menu the waiter asks if it's a diet preference or celiac. If you say celiac then the manager will come over and speak to you and go over the menu and then affirm that the staff will change gloves/equipment.
The chips are fried with gluten so they bring you baked chips (not as yummy) but didn't make me sick.
I had enchiladas and they were delicious. Margarita was delicious too. I had no adverse reactions to eating here and I am a celiac very sensitive to cross contamination. Cant wait to eat here again. Gluten free items come out marked with a little tag that says gluten free.

They can’t guarantee non gluten free items are put in the frier and they grill non gluten free beef on the same grill as all the other meat. Didn’t end up getting anything.

They have a GF menu with a handful of options. The cheese enchiladas were amazing and waitress was very helpful. She confirmed when the food came that mine was gluten free. They do have gluten free tortilla chips but they were not good. Overall a great experience!!!

My son (celiac) really enjoyed his enchiladas. They had a little marker in the plate to signal food allergy.
They do have different GF chips you can ask for but he said they weren’t that good.
Great experience overall.

The gluten free menu is significantly smaller than the one shown online with just a few options. The baked tortilla chips are GF but are horrible. Both my daughter and I were having bad reactions before even leaving the restaurant. The place is WAY overpriced as well. Just hit a taco truck and get corn tortillas and save yourself a hundred bucks.

Hands down the best service, gluten free menus and the manager and chef came out to check on our needs and meals
Talked to my waiter and she brought the GF menu. She sent the manager out and they double checked my selection of enchiladas with the cook. They decided safe except for cohost cheese on top might have cross contamination. Cheese Enchiladas and beans and rice were awesome. Good margaritas too.

Good food. I had the Fajita Platter with chicken and corn tortillas. I asked the manager if they had GF options, and she said, “You can get the #1 or #2 with chicken, or the #3 with beef or chicken.” She told the cook to change her gloves and not contaminate my food. I was very hungry, so the fajitas really hit the spot. The restaurant is definitely not dedicated GF and there are no GF designations on the menu, but I am confident that I will not feel glutened tomorrow.

Our actual entrees were really good, and there were plenty of gf option. I had a delicious fish taco. And the potions were so generous we all had leftovers. However, honestly the gluten free chips were gross. So bad my tortilla chip obsessed 6 year old wouldn't even eat them. And chips and queso is his favorite part of coming to a Mexican restraunt. So if you're coming for a good meal, it's a win. If you're coming chips and salsa/guac/queso, skip it.

Pappasito’s has a gluten free menu! When the waiter saw it in my hand, he promptly offered baked GF chips. Salsa is served in individual cups as a practice at this restaurant. Works for me! Had the very delicious fish tacos! They were wrapped in foil cones to assist in keeping the corn tortillas together and to protect from cross contamination. Also, the manager stopped by our table to confirm all was well and to describe a bit if their GF practices. So kind! The meal was AWESOME and I was able to fully enjoy the experience, not having to worry about gluten.

Make sure to not only ask for the baked chips, but the GF baked chips. Forewarning, they are terrible, but safe and allow you to eat the salsa. Definitely helps you save calories they are so bad. I wish they would just buy store bought ones that are safe if that’s what they are going to offer.

It was a delight! First time I have tried a Mexican restaurant since diagnosed over a year ago. No hesitation in pulling the gluten-free menu - it was right up front with all the other menus. Manager came out to assure me. Waitress was wonderful!! No repercussions at all! So pleased!!

I visited last week and upon ordering off the gluten free menu (only available online - they don’t have printed copies) I notified the server it was celiac disease. I ordered a salad with chicken but noted to leave off the tortilla strips (shared fryer). The waitress understood and after placing my order a manager on duty came by the table to verify it was a dietary necessity and ensure me everything would be done to avoid CC! I did not get sick and the food came out without tortilla strips as ordered to avoid gluten exposure :)

GF menu was available and my meal came out with a pick noting that it was GlutenFree. My meal was very good, no complaints about the quality. I had no reactions. The floor manager came over to speak with us once I identify myself as having a food allergy when ordering. The regular corn tortilla chips are not OK because of the oil they use to fry them. You have to have baked corn chips which are essentially tasteless and a little bit gummy. Other than the chips, everything was good for me here.

So good and I did not get sick! They brought out baked tortilla chips for us. Probably the best fajitas I’ve ever had - the chicken was juicy and not dried out and over seasoned like many places. The sauce was amazing. 10 stars - highly recommend!

I came here because I saw they had good review on the app. They offer separate baked chips that are gluten allergy/celiac safe, you just have to request them. Excellent experience. We told the waitress I have a gluten allergy, which is easier than explaining celiac. They brought me gluten free chips, modified the guacamole appetizer to be gluten free, and made our entree gluten free. The manager came out to tell me she knew about the allergy and to ensure me the kitchen was taking necessary precautions. Amazing!

Ordered the chicken fajitas. The waitress told me the rice wasn’t GF so I asked why it says it is on the GF menu. She went to the manager to ask and he came to our table and told me it was, that anything on the GF menu was definitely GF. He also told me they take allergies very seriously. I was offered GF chips, the ones they bring to the table are not. My food was delicious and I did not get the least bit sick.

Fantastic experience all around. There’s a gluten free menu, and staff are trained to grab a manager to speak with you as soon as you mention any food allergy. Manager and waiter were fantastic. Very knowledgeable. Got the baked chips which my son loves. They even accommodated us on Fajita Wednesday (a chicken and steak combo), but were happy to serve the meats on separate skillets to avoid cross contamination so I could eat steak and my celiac son could enjoy the chicken. Definitely coming back here again.

We just had dinner here. Luis and his sister who's name I didn't get could not have been more helpful. They informed the kitchen, brought separate gluten free chips for my husband, just in case of cross contamination they have sealed bags of gluten free chips. Checked twice with the kitchen to make sure everything was gluten free. The food was excellent, they were very knowledgable and fun to talk to. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant!

I just ordered the salad with grilled chicken off of the GF menu. I explained I’m Celiac. It arrived with fried corn chips in the middle. (I explained how anything fried in oil is not GF. They said they made a fresh new salad for me. My stomach started rolling with pain right after eating it the fresh new salad. I now lay in bed with heating pad on my stomach. Never again will I visit this restaurant.

Many menu items can be gluten free upon request. They were very knowledgeable about cross contamination and took care to make sure I had a truly GF meal. Staff made me feel confident. It was so good that I would not have believed it if they hadn’t had been so diligent. The manager did come to ask if it was a preference or allergy for documentation purposes for future ordering of produce, but it was not awkward or intrusive. I feel that staff made a huge effort to accommodate me.
