Terrible. They have a small gluten free menu. I specified to the waiter multiple times that it was an allergy. My plate arrived with a few accidental fries on the plate touching my steak (their fries are not gluten free). I also got applesauce on the side and it literally had chunks of bread and cheese in it somehow. Gross experience.

Asked to speak to the manager while waiting for our table. Because they make everything from scratch, including baked goods, they are gluten friendly, but cannot guarantee celiac safe. They had an online gluten free menu that I went through with him and he told me what I should avoid. I went with what I thought would be safest: grilled shrimp (no rice) and a house salad, no croutons with oil and vinegar. I am writing this review before my usual amount of time for onset of symptoms, so if I become symptomatic, I will edit my review to reflect that.

I ordered the bone in ribeye with mashed and broccoli. I explained my allergy to my server and explained they needed to cook the steak separately. Steak was clearly cooked on the grill with the others. When I asked about the cooking I was assured it was safe. Well, it wasn't. And I'm now sicker than a dog. Avoid at all costs. Completely unsafe and no explicit allergy protocol.

I let the hostess and waitress know that I had a gluten allergy. They said they could accommodate and that my order “should be gf”. I ordered steak, mushrooms/veggies and baked potato bc it seemed like the safest option and I had my doubts about the restaurant. My bf wanted to eat here. Later that night I was extremely sick! Not safe at all and the staff wasn’t friendly either.

I was nervous to go to a roadhouse but I was able to navigate . Ordered the salmon with a salad, no croutons and no dressing and a baked potato. The salmon was awesome đ! Salad had eggs, tomatoes and cheese . Baked potato had salt on the outer peel which I should have avoided but it was tasty . Great service ! I don’t eat red meat but I would guess the steak is GF. Would definitely return !

The steak seasoning is not gluten free. I ask for it cooked with butter and then add salt and pepper at the table. I also ask for no croutons on my salad. The fries are in a shared fryer. The staff is a hit or miss on knowing how to handle the orders. It’s definitely a risk, and I have gotten sick enough that I don’t come here anymore.

Staff doesn’t seem aware of celiac/gluten free.
Salads - asked for no croutons - had croutons hidden under lettuce/ appeared picked off the Cesar salad.
House salad- Blue cheese dressing had croutons hidden/floating in the dressing
Gave it 2 tries, both times sick after. Not celiac friendly

Have a tiny menu to work with if you have a gluten allergy. It essentially consisted of specific steaks or pork, baked Potatoes, and specific salads. Dressing consist of oil and vinegar.
I had a steak, vegetables, and a side salad. It still tasted good, just nothing fancy.
Update: second time I went here and they seemed a little careless with some of my food despite expressing I have celiac. I ordered a side salad and it has croutons and crumbs on it they took it away and I’m pretty sure just picked the croutons off bc there was still crumbs through it when I received it back.

They have a gluten-friendly menu but the kitchen has cross-contact. No dressings or marinades available, you only get salt and pepper. Honestly I’m shocked for a chain that they don’t have better options and their salads are not even safe. Staff was not knowable on it at all and offered me toppings with gluten. It’s a shame it’s not a safe place to it.

They have a gluten free menu, but there are very limited options. I recently went there to get takeout ordered 2 burgers without buns, cheese (I’m dairy free as well) or toppings with a side of fries (THEY DO NOT HAVE GLUTEN FREE BUNS, OR GLUTEN FREE FRIES- the fries were for another family member who wanted them). I asked for the fries and burger to be separated to avoid cross contamination. When I got the food one of the burgers came with a bun, cheese, and with the fries in the same container, and the other came without the cheese or bun but with the fries in the same container. I was able to eat one of the burgers, but it was pretty bland (rest of my family agreed about their food as well), and based on the way my meal was served- there was little knowledge or concern about allergies with the staff. Side note, gluten free menu was hard to find on their website- items were not marked or anything- I had to google it.

They have grilled shrimp and salmon, besides the steaks, and have a gluten-friendly menu. I had a salad without croutons using oil and vinegar and a bowl of steamed Vegas as sides but they also have mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and more.Their butter does have gluten. The cook was extra careful.

Food was delicious…but my wife has celiac disease and she got contaminated. She ordered a steak, baked potato, and house salad. We specified that she has celiac disease and cannot have any bread and no croutons on her salad. The salad came out without croutons but she still got contaminated. It may have just been that night where they just pulled off the croutons on an already made salad.
They provide a menu of gluten-friendly suggestions on request, but there are no dedicated gluten free choices.

Has a “gluten friendly” menu - can’t have fries, and can’t have most the sauces. If your are Celiac I’d avoid - they state on the top of the menu that food might cross contaminate and the item is “gluten free to the best of our ability”. Limited option either way.

Went today to use my veteran’s day voucher. No GF menu at this location. They told me to go online and look at the allergen list. Even the butter has gluten. So, got my steak, potato, and salad plain. They didn’t have any idea. The waitstaff thought I’d need to forgo tomatoes.

The waitstaff usually carry a GF menu options list on them. Most of the steaks and grilled shrimp are GF. The prime rib is NOT GF. Some sides are GF. No appetizers. Not being able to eat the cactus blossom and rolls is the worst part. Although the options are limited, the steak is good and it’s a good option when eating with lots of people who don’t eat GF.

First time eating at a restaurant since my daughter was diagnosed with Celiac. We mentioned to the waitress that she had Celiac and the waitress handed us a Gluten Free menu. She had a house salad with ranch, no croutons and a sirloin steak with A1 steak sauce.

This place really has no idea what they are doing - or at least my server / this location was clueless. Don’t eat here unless you must and if you do, get a steak with nothing on it, a salad with oil and vinegar and a baked potato. I asked for a gf menu - they said they didn’t have one but I found an image of one on this app (someone else had posted). This wasn’t too helpful.

I called a day prior and the manager was super helpful with discussing options and how they avoid cross-contamination. Our server got us a gluten-free menu and spoke to the chef regarding cross-contamination upon arrival. I had the steak, which was delicious! Along with a baked potato and a salad with oil and vinegar for the dressing. They also let me know their butter contained gluten. The only thing cooked on their flattop is steak, chicken and salmon. They said with these allergies they have platers change cloves prior as well. I did not have stomach pains and felt comfortable eating here.

Our server Ellie was extremely knowledgeable with Gluten-free/Celiac issues. She assured me that there was a possibility of cross-contamination due to French fries but their baked potatoes should be fine. So I had the loaded baked potatoes wedges for appetizer and grilled shrimp salad for my meal. No issues. She even managed to find us a gluten-free menu.

We'd gotten a gift card for Texas Roadhouse and everybody in the family was stoked to try it. They'd heard about how you get buckets of peanuts while you're waiting and, Hell, being allowed to throw the shells all over the floor is super-cool and appealing to the kids. I went into the whole thing a little biased. I'm not one of those people that ever suddenly craves a big ol hunk of cooked meat. I can do ribs, maybe some sausage. But not at this place. There's gluten in the sauces! Guys (at the risk of sounding like a total "Karen"), there is even GLUTEN in their RANCH dressing. I had to go take a a minute to get it together in the bathroom after that. Well, in my absence, the flirty waitress was nice enough to let my husband know that I could walk to Walmart for regular Ranch dressing. And that is what I did. It was below freezing out, but I trekked over to Wally World, bought a bottle of Ranch, and walked back over to the restaurant. The rubbery ribs had just been served. They were dry as heck because, remember, "no sauces" for us Celiac folks. There was a roll on the darn plate, and finally, the salad. The salad was like a third a bag of an old iceberg lettuce dumped onto the plate. There wasn't enough Ranch in the world to save that meal. The waitress acted in such a way (kinda.. clueless) that I would have felt bad saying anything about it. I shouldn't have paid for that meal. Not friendly for gluten-free, guys! At all! Be safe!

Our waitress was not sure about their policy so she went in the back and asked and returned to tell us that they use a dedicated gluten free area of the kitchen, change gloves and wipe down all surfaces including the grill when preparing foods marked with an allergy. My celiac daughter had lots of options and we all had a delicious meal.

Went here, and they did not have a gluten free menu. I coached the waiter on what I could and could not eat (I ordered a ribeye without the steak rub, only salt and pepper, salad with no dressing or croutons, and a potato with just butter). To their credit, they followed the directions perfectly and I didn’t get sick from contamination.

I ordered off the gluten free menu. Talked to the server about my celiacs, and my salad came with a hidden crouton in it. After that I was afraid and then tested my steak and potato with my gluten sensor and they tested positive for gluten. Needless to say I ate nothing. I would be very careful about eating here.

Was very disappointed when I arrived, because on this website it says they have a gluten-free menu but it was a “gluten friendly” menu! They made no assurances that cross contamination would not occur! Spoke with two different managers and they finally, after 30 minutes, found the “gluten friendly” menu! I decided to play it safe and ordered the grilled chicken salad with just chicken and salad after talking with the manager about what the chicken was marinated in and found out there was nothing in the marinate that had gluten. I did not get sick, but will not go back again! To high of a chance of cross contamination!!
