Service was very slow. Ordered GF scallops and shrimp. On regular menu you get 5 scallops and 5 shrimp plus ancient grains. On GF menu you get the same amount of scallops but they only give you 4 shrimp and the also take away the ancient grains and don’t give anything in replacement. $ 22.00 for it. Positive it was tasty but still hungry afterwards

VERY good. The menu was very thorough. Also the staff was more than willing to work with us and letting me ask questions. They never hesitated to say they didn’t know for sure but they would check it out if an item was not listed on GF menu. My only issue was that they don’t have a separate fryer but fries were listed in the gluten free menu. Overall we LOVED this place. We need one closer to home now! Try the nachos!

We have been here about 4 times and it is hit and miss. But today was not good. Our waitress was wonderful (she has celiac, so she was cautious and helpful). I ordered a steak and it came out with toast touching the steak (it was not our waitress who brought our food). They took it back to the kitchen and made me another (the manager did come out and talk to me, which is good). It stinks when you are just waiting for your meal when the rest of the table is eating. Made me nervous to eat it, the second time it can out. They just aren't as cautious as other places can be. If you have celiac, I wouldn't recommend this place

Absolutely love to eat at the Frisco Texas location. My servers go out of there way to make sure my meal is not cross contaminated and always come up with alternatives. It’s so nice not to have to worry about having a reaction. Thanks so much for thinking of us Celiac’s. Plus they actually have a really decent size gluten free menu compared to others!! Fantastic job!!

The best GF ribs and baked beans. The fry’s are cooked in a dedicated fryer. So yummy.

Stopped in while traveling to San Antonio based off the reviews I read on here. I was NOT disappointed!! Their gluten "awareness" menu clearly states they can not guarantee no cross contamination. My intolerance is usually ok with very minimal cross contamination so I took a chance. So far I feel ok but was so pleased with the service. There's lots of options to choose from with a good variety. The french fries were delicious! Food was definitely flagged in back as GF bun since the food runner who brought my food out stated all American burger with GF bun.

Visited while in town seeing family. Service was great, the decor is fantastic and unique, and the GF menu was extensive. The Brussel sprouts were delicious!

I ordered a double smashed burger on a gf bun. I found the gf menu by scanning the qr code on the table. Not the best burger I’ve ever had but not bad either.

Their gluten free menu is huge! The staff is very nice and knew about their gluten free precautions. The fries (not waffle fries) are in a separate frier. I had a burger with a gluten free gun. I think it’s Udi’s, but it clearly looks gluten free. Will definitely be back!

Extensive GF menu. I ordered the grilled chicken avacado sandwich. I tested it with my Nima and it detected gluten. The manager came to the table and was very apologetic.

Very good place . Had a large selection gluten free item. I ended up getting a burger with GF bun and loaded mashed potatoes. Very Delicious.. I am very sensitive and didn’t have any issues. I will definitely be going back.

Most of the staff does not know what gluten free even means. I highly suggest the border attack because it requires no altercations.

Dedicated GF Menu. Fryer for French Fries only (advise them not to season).
Great food selection (menu is double sided). Food handled by separate waiter on delivery from others. Prices were same as non-gf.

We were told they have 4 fryers & that the 2 outside fryers were dedicated for fries & they could be used to fry anything gluten free.
There were several options but our daughter ordered off the kids menu. They usually offer kids sliders but they only have a gluten free bun in the full size so they cut the bun in half for both of the slider patties. She also got french fries but they told us to get plain fries without the seasoning.
We did not get to eat at the restaurant since that’s not an option these days, but when I called in, they transferred me to the manager & he was very knowledgeable. It made us feel more comfortable about eating there again when the restaurant opens back up again.

Can you give a partial star??? We ordered our meal. They brought hubby his food and then told me that they can't give me what I ordered because it's no longer gf. When I ask for the menu so I can order something else, it took then forever. Hubby was able to eat. They treated me like I was too blame because I have "food issues". I got pissed and left. Hubby asked for a manager, the bill and a to go box. The manager had the same "if you have food issues, you shouldn't go out" attitude the waitress had. They comped hubby's meal. We won't be back. Left note on corporate Facebook page and got attitude from them there too.
GF option for burger and sandwiches. Eat there all the time.
One of the best GF menus I’ve seen. Everything is very clear and easy to understand. Lots of gluten free options. Chips and Queso is great. Burgers, tacos, salads, etc. that are Gf. Been here twice with no problem.
LOVE their gf menu, love the staffs knowledge of ingredients. Great food!
Have to be diligent here. Told the waitress I was GF, ordered off the GF menu (mashed potatoes no gravy was a listed side option), got a plate with gravy on the potatoes and rice that was not on the GF menu. Sent it back and rice was left on so I assumed it was safe. Nope
Ordered a burger and mashed potatoes and my partner ordered the steak with a salad. They were out of GF buns. The potatoes came with gravy (listed on the menu as not GF) and the salad came with croutons. We just didn’t eat either bc our toddler couldnt wait for new plates. My wife’s steak was good and the burger didn’t make me sick but it was way over cooked and flavorless. Overall do not recommend if you are a celiac.
No
Great menu, do NOT risk fried foods. Waiter told me the chips are fried in separate oil and I'm currently very sick. Sunrise burger with lettuce bun was good though.

I’ve eaten here twice when in town and LOVE this place. The waiters are knowledgeable & the gluten free menu is the most extensive one I’ve ever seen. Two whole pages of choices! I never get that other places. I’ve had the blackened snapper both times and it’s delicious! Never got sick. They know to omit croutons even on the side salad. Atmosphere is great too.

Large gluten free menu available with even a alcohol drink menu on it. Great place for a worry free date night!! Did not get sick! Delicious

Our first experience was stellar. The manager came out and spoke to us and noted the celiac concern. The food was great and I felt very confident in coming back.
However, tonight we came out and they served a gluten item with the gluten free fish. The waitress expressed concern and assured us she had spoken to the kitchen directly regarding our celiac. She also stated that she wouldn’t trust eating out if she had a major allergy, which she meant to be kind but struck me poorly.
Then the manager came over and he didn’t seem overly concerned. He just stated we should have specifically said no rice despite us having ordered off the gluten free menus and stating we were celiac. We pointed out the item on the menu when we ordered and it says on the menu it is served without rice because of the gluten. Very upsetting experience.
**I added a star because the manager came back a second time and gave us a $15 gift card. He then apologized and said they would try to fix the issue. As long as We don’t get ill, I’m willing to give them another try. But make sure to ask for the manager when you order. They might be able to track it better.
***Been back again and did a better job. Added another star. Made sure to talk to manager this time. I would still be cautious when you go and make sure you are clear on what you need.
***Update 6/2019, Again they messed up our whole meal despite strict instructions to the waitress. This kitchen just can’t get it together. I’m not super sensitive to being glutened, but even after they remade our food, I didn’t feel good after eating. For those that are sensitive, I’d avoid this place. Too bad, cause their food is good and close to the movie theatre.

Amazing menus on line!! Very knowledgeable. Menu lists items in BLUE to eliminate to make sure GF. Great variety very impressed!!!
Gluten free menu with lots of choices; salads, burgers, appetizers, entries including chicken, seafood, beef, and mexican.
I have never had a bad experience at 54th! It’s our favorite place. I have always been lucky with their food and never experienced any cross contamination.
Gluten free menu, staff was knowledgeable

One of our favorite places to eat as a family. We can all find something delicious to eat. They have awesome gluten free hamburger buns, theirs are the only ones I like. My kids love it there too. Nice patio with umbrellas over the tables.
They have a gluten-free menu and the waitress said they were very careful to not cross contaminate but I had issues.
Lots of items on the gluten-free menu. Server was very attentive to what modifications were needed, and came out to make sure we had received the correct burger buns (which were great - not Udi's!). I would go again.
They have a pretty big gluten free menu and the food is good! The person (not our waitress) who brought our food out had my husband’s gluteny gyro slightly touching the edge of my plate, but I just avoided that spot and I didn’t get sick. I was a little suspicious of whether they could not cross contaminate me but I had the chicken fajita salad and everything was good!
Gluten free bun cost more, but is amazing!!!!

Largest menu selection I have seen in quite awhile. I ordered an avocado chicken sandwich which came with a sesame seed gluten-free bun (often times you can only get a plain bun). The waitress we had wasn’t very familiar with GF foods but did go back to the kitchen repeatedly to ask and check on things for us. Plenty of appetizers to choose from as well. We had their chips and queso and it was good.
Large gluten free menu. Newer gluten free buns are very good!

have had good experiences here three times, the have a fairly extensive gluten friendly menu, they do recommend staying away from fried items due to cross contamination.

They have a big selection on their GF menu. I highly recommend them!

The food was good, but we waited entirely too long for it, 1-hr at the door and then 1-hr just to get food. The free appetizers were not enough to change my review. This restaurant does not handle big groups well. French Fries (and all fried foods) are cooked in shared oil. Gluten free bun looks like regular bun, had to ask the server 2x before I felt better.
I'm diagnosed with celiac disease. The waiter was courteous and provided good service and brought me a gluten-free menu. He did acknowledge me that he will order gluten-free bun for my burger, however, there may have cross-contamination in the kitchen. The burger bun doesn't taste like a gluten-free bun. Gluten-free bun usually have a little more chewy texture; and the blue cheese dressing may not be gluten-free. I had symptoms after I have lunch there. Overall is good! Just not hundred percent celiac disease friendly.
