I went here on vacation, and I nearly cry every time I wake up and realize we don’t have one in Albuquerque. All the food was phenomenal. The boba was perfect. The gluten free chocolate chip cookies were out of this world. PLEASE COME TO ALBUQUERQUE 😭

Decided to grab takeout from them on a whim since I noticed they were a certified gluten free facility and I’m epipen level allergic to gluten. I bought the Vietnamese Hot Chicken with a Caramel Egg which was delicious (the spice level will knock you on your butt though so definitely make sure you have a cold drink) I made sure to test the meal with my NIMA which came back 100% gluten free/safe!

This is one of our family’s go-to restaurants. Our son with celiac loves the salmon box. And our son who doesn’t have celiac says that the tofu spring rolls are his hands down favorite food in the world.

The recent review sharing the story of the employee stating that the restaurant uses soy sauce (with wheat) rather than tamari sauce was startling to me. I emailed the company, and I heard back from someone who said that this was staff error in describing the soy sauce: “The soy sauce we use in all our stores is and always will be Tamari soy sauce.” They will share my email with staff for further training. I also received a nice email from the CEO, apologizing for the staff confusion.

This 100% gluten free place was a great find on our trip for fast, safe, delicious food. I tried the pho and workout chicken. Both were fantastic. I haven’t had pho since I was diagnosed with celiac a decade ago. It was so good! I would love to have this restaurant near me.

Uhhhhh. Went here first as it seemed the safest place in Palo Alto. Everything but two dishes had soy sauce in the ingredient listing, I asked if they meant tamari, since soy sauce in the US has wheat as an ingredient. They went and checked the back and said nope, it’s soy sauce (with wheat). the cashier was super nice in grabbing out the allergen/ingredient binder and helping me find something without soy sauce.

I ordered the miss jones, which was very tasty. I got freaked out when the hard boiled Carmel egg looked soy marinated, but the cashier looked it up and said it was fish sauce and tamarind. Phew!

Food was good and tasted fresh. People working there were nice and cared. Still couldn’t shake the feeling I had narrowly escaped disaster.

After having a rough time in the Fremont area with food options, this was a welcome reprieve for me. Got the yellow curry which was a huge portion and had no issues. Also ate their cookies, which were dry and crumbly (yay GF) but safe from what I could tell. My husband ordered their spicy chicken option and just cautioning that it is very spicy! If I am ever back I need to try their other options.

Love that this place is 100% GF! It can be SO hard to find GF Asian cuisine and it was refreshing that I could eat anything I wanted. I got the curry and my husband got the spicy noodles. Both definitely had some heat to them, but the flavors were a bit disappointing. Just not super developed, more just HOT. Otherwise, the rice was really good and the meat and veggies seemed fresh and high-quality. Not the most authentic we've ever had (we've both lived in Seattle), but it was tasty and safe!

I love Asian Box. First time at the airport location. They were out of salmon and shrimp which are my usual choices. I got a chicken and green curry special which was loaded with chicken and veggies. It was great and packaged well for eating on the plane. Very tasty! Always safe.

I was a little worried about the previous review so when I went in to eat yesterday I asked to see the ingredients in the banh mi sauce. Turns out they don’t use the actual Maggi brand sauce because that has gluten in it. Can confirm: they use a GF Maggi-type sauce. While I didn’t order a banh mi, I got pho and the salmon salad. So far so good with no reaction. I’ve also eaten a Miss Jones bowl and spring rolls safely at the location in SFO before a flight. 10/10 would eat here again.
