Really good sandwiches with gluten free options available. They ask if it’s an allergy. I’m celiac but not sensitive so I couldn’t comment on cross contamination. It’s very promising that they do ask if it’s an allergy!

I’m so glad I stopped in here. I did see them change gloves and I had a lettuce wrapped sandwich that was so good I was in heaven. It didn’t even need bread- this was as good as any sandwich I’d had in my previous (wheat-filled) life.

This is one of the safest places I’ve eaten at. They completely cover the space they prepare the gluten free sandwiches with paper, get fresh gloves/tools to take condiments and additions straight from a new container, and wrap up the gluten free order to bring out separately! They have a variety of gluten free chips and soups available as well.

Came here to get a wrap, the guy behind the counter understood about cross contamination and made my wrap himself separately with new gloves etc. unfortunately when I tested it with my nima it came back Gluten found. I let them know and they apologized but didn’t ask if I wanted anything remade but did come over with a refund for my wrap . I gave 3 stars cuz they were very nice it has a great atmosphere and my daughters sandwich she said was good (she has no allergy)

We ordered the gf bread via the online ordering system. After we got home we realized they were in gf wrap’s instead. My sandwich was great however, my husbands was a bit of a mess. It wasn’t cut in half and the wrap was barely wrapped. It would have been nice to have been notified if they were out of the gf bread which we were hoping to try.

Best GF bread on the Peninsula! They ask if GF request is preference or allergy. I eat here often and never had an issue and I have celiac disease. The Malibu is my fave. I love this place!

Amazing gluten free bread and wraps! Staff follows allergy protocols to prevent cross contamination. I eat here regularly without an issue. Food is delicious and the staff are always friendly. One of the few restaurants I confidently eat at as a person with celiac.

We stopped in to see if there were any gluten free options. Although it is not listed on the menu, they have GF buns and wraps. They were very careful And knowledgeable about CC. They prepped the sandwhich in a separate area and used separate ingredients.

Staff is very knowledgeable they will change gloves and know not to toast the bread. The GF bread is outstanding! I have never gotten sick here.

Hot and cold deli sandwiches. All can be made gluten free as they have gluten free buns. Asked if sandwich was an allergy or preference so did not toast the bum so there was no cross contamination. GF cookies too! Cookies were individually wrapped. Very good!

Incredibly thoughtful owner who is aware and knowledgeable about food allergies and happy to make modifications to meet your wants and needs! I got the breakfast burrito with GF tortilla and when I said no cheese, he offered to sub it for vegan cheese which was delicious! Amazing vibe and high quality food. Highly recommend.

Excellent gluten free sandwich. They have gluten free bread and wraps. I had the the gf roll, and it was the best bread I have had in the 3 years since being diagnosed celiac.

In the past I have always had their salads or soups. Just tried the Surfin' Cow on the GF wrap and it was a nice change.

Looking for something quick and found this cute sandwich shop. They offer a gluten free deli roll and a wrap. The girl at the front was friendly and explained how they wash their hands and get the food from fresh containers. We had the gf roll and it was really yummy. My non gf husband and son had a regular sandwich and loved it! Will definitely come back when in Tahoe again.

Celiac friendly?

This is my favorite sandwich place. I don’t say that lightly. The sandwiches are AMAZING and I’ve never gotten sick here. If you order a sandwich with the GF bread, they always ask if it’s an allergy. They will also give you a to-go cup with the meat/extras that didn’t fit on the smaller GF bread so you can take it home for a second sandwich. They also have GF wraps.

Awesome and fresh! They made my sandwich on GF Canyon House bread. They prepared on a paper sheet, new gloves and took great care. They even have GF Deep River chips. I am now a regular.
