Went recently and discovered they not only have decent gluten free 6 inch sub bread but their BMT sandwich listed as gluten free too and those are my favorite! BBQ sauce isn't but I used mayo instead and it was just as good. Staff was super patient with me but not knowledgeable, I was looking it up on my phone as I ordered.

The gluten free bread is not amazing but it’s not gross. I appreciate that they have the option. However, the gluten free brownie is SO yummy!! Sometimes they’ll ask if you have an allergy, sometimes they don’t. When they do ask, they clean everything and make sure there’s no cross contamination.

Not celiac friendly. They have gluten free options but can't guarantee there is no contamination.

Subway is a go-to for me. I've eaten at subways across the Canada and have had great experiences over all. You still need to be proactive and vigilant but the staff is usually aware that they need to wipe down surfaces, use fresh ingredients, etc.

Chaque fois, on me demande si c’est pour une “allergie”. Toutes les précautions sont prises et je n’ai jamais été malade.
Great sub! Asked if I had an allergy, changed gloves, made sure it didn’t contact the counter to limit any cross contamination.
Yes
DO NOT EAT SUBWAY GLUTEN FREE
Unless they are using fresh and specified toppings it is not safe for celiacs to eat. The topping bins are full of cross contamination from throughout the day.
No
This Subway location has knowledgable staff and offered completely separate/fresh ingredients for GF subs. When I ordered my GF sub, the employee asked if it was due to CD or an intolerance before I had the chance to even mention it! I said CD, and he washed his hands, changed his gloves and cleaned the separate surface. He then opened up a two fridges where they keep all toppings and sauces separate for GF subs to avoid cross contamination. So far my best experience at a Subway! Would 100% recommend for a safe and fast lunch.

Gluten free six inch subs. You pick the meats and toppings of your choice. They changed theirs gloves for me not questions asked. Double parchment paper to get it toasted. Very nice staff. A modest one dollar up charge for gluten free bread. I’ll take it.
Yes
bread wraped separately but not very fresh.

Staff are as carful as possible to not cross contaminate food
wonderful! bun was frozen but toasted perfectly on its own paper liner. did a nice job keeping clean gloves and also had a gluten free brownie wrapped individually!!

This is located in the Georgian mall they have no clue on Gluten!!! They have gluten free bread but the workers are not trained at all and can not tell what has gluten in it. All they know is the bread is gluten free that's it! If they are going to ADVERTISE Gluten free bread that get some knowledge. But in the Bayfield mall the Subway is very knowledgeable and takes caution when preparing your sandwich. Need to be careful with some Subways

Great gluten free bread. They changed gloves and washed hands before handling my bread
Bread tastes like bread. Not dried out and comes in a sealed package before they make the sandwich.

Male server was excellent. Washed his hands, put on fresh gloves. Washed his counter space, put down double paper, and told female server that he would be completely handling my sandwich. Once mine was finished and bagged, the male server went on to make my partner's sandwich. The female server started to ring up my order and the male server reminded her that my bun was gluten-free. The female server's response was "what's that?". Yikes. Also, the bun was not tasty and disintegrated into crumbs as I tried to eat it.
I had a salad bowl which turned out to a very expensive bowl of mostly iceberg lettuce. Poor service also.

The only gluten free thing is the sub salad but it's pretty good.

Great GF sub. Light and fluffy. Seem celiac aware. Asked "are you allergic?" Paper towel placed on tray before toasting. Recommended?

Great gluten-free sub buns. Staff seem knowledgeable about what is GF. Recommended.

gluten free bread with a list of gluten free toppings. workers were good to put on new gloves and minimise cross contamination.
Subway offre des pains sans gluten! Ils ne sont pas disponible partout, mais à St-Bruno oui!
washed hands, gloves, kind and patient, GF bread soft and tasted like real bread!
