I’ve been going to Yardbird in Miami and Vegas, for years, and have been so happy to have this LA location the last few years. Fried chicken and waffles are safe and fries are in a dedicated fryer. Super knowledgeable staff and great vibes.

Incredible food -amazing service from everyone we came in contact with. Chicken and waffles with the watermelon was so ridiculous. I don’t think I’ve ever had such perfectly fried chicken - so juicy and crispy! Previous reviews seemed really thorough so I didn’t really ask much. I did confirm the gf-ness of the chicken — they use rice flour and canola oil vs buttermilk and lard for the regular ones. Also gf waffles are differentiated by being little circles - appreciated that detail! Gf food was brought out by a different person than gluten things - always love that. It was really just so delicious and felt safe and the staff was all so sweet and helpful. Great place!!

Separate gluten free cooking area!!! Chicken and waffles did not disappoint. The deviled eggs were fire. This is a great place to eat - waiter was very knowledgeable about gluten-free and the food was nice and healthily made which was refreshing after travelling in SF. Overall the place had a nice vibe too. Ideally you make a reservation though they were still able to accommodate us with a side table. Would recommend.

Incredible food and experience! We went twice - once for chicken and waffles and once for regular brunch. The food was AMAZING and the service was excellent. So basically I went down to the city to go back to school shopping. We had a lovely morning and thought to go to yardbird for lunch. I had heard so much about this place and their chicken and waffle dish so I decided to get it, they made me feel super safe but on the car ride home I started throwing up and I did get glutened from it. We called to let them know and we never did figure out what happened, I just know that I would not recommend this place if you are super sensitive. My friend with a. Gluten intolerance ate off the same plate and was fine but I am very sensitive.

Safety: I did not get sick from eating the fried chicken and waffles, the ribs, and the GF dessert cake. The manager came to our table first thing and reassured me that knows I'm Celiac and they have extensive procedures to prevent cross contamination such as separate kitchen area, separate fryer, and allergy indicators on food and menu. Server was knowledgeable and really understood Celiacs. When refilling water one of the waiters touched the lip of my (and other's) water glass with the water pitcher so there was potential for cross contamination there. Also where there is flour there can also be aerosolized flour.

Taste: I swear their fried chicken tastes better than non-GF fried chicken. It was very crispy, juicy, and flavourful. Though the truly surprising dish was their ribs - it was so tender and packed with smokey flavour that I may return to Las Vegas just for this restaurant.

Note that a reservation is almost mandatory. I was a 8 min late for my reservation and was turned away. This place is a bit difficult to find in the huge building so allow for extra time.

This is a great place for people with celiac to eat. The menu is labeled and there are a variety of options. Server was very knowledgeable and ensures kitchen knew it was celiac / allergy. We tried the fried chicken, chicken and waffles, and pork ribs for mains. For sides we had corn and Brussel sprouts. All of the food was delicious and felt safe eating there. We would definitely return.

Pshawwww…day-yummah! This is what GF fried chicken is supposed to taste like…nom nom! The chicken and waffle dish was amazing! The waffles were crisp on the outside and pillowy on the inside! The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked under all that crunchy goodness! The special deviled eggs, the chopped salad and the crispy Brussels were all solid! The shareworthy key lime pie for dessert was over the top! Do we sound excited?!? We are! Atop all of that praise, a heap more is dished out to the staff here as well! On par with perfection! BEST PLACE TO EAT IN VEGAS!! Celiac or not - they have both options. Extremely careful with celiac allergies; management comes to your table to let you know that they are aware of your allergy and that your dish will be taken care of. Wow! This was so good! I have missed eating food this good since my celiac diagnosis 2 years ago. My husband (also gluten sensitive) got the ribs and I got the fried chicken and waffles. They were delicious! I was only sad because I couldn’t eat it all! Las Vegas has been horrible for GF for us. We have had to skip meals (breakfast) because of lack of GF options. Yardbird was the highlight meal of the trip!

WOW. You have to come here when in Vegas. Fried chicken is gluten and dairy free. They said the breading is rice and potato flour. They don’t upcharge for gluten free chicken either!!

The waffles have butter in the batter, so not dairy free. We also got the fingerling potatoes with no cheese which was also dairy free.

They were super helpful with allergies — our server consulted the kitchen, checked in with us, and told us which allergies each order was put in with when they brought the food out. I felt really safe eating here!

The food was FANTASTIC, come hungry and be prepared to roll yourself out of here.

This is good southern comport food and they are fantastic on gluten free fried food. The kitchen has a separate section in it with separate fryers to avoid cross contamination. They are know for people with celiac to be able to eat fried chicken and waffles. Even the waffles are made in a different size so the servers don’t get confused. They have steak and seafood as well.

Gluten Free fried chicken and waffle that’s pretty darn close to heaven. I think this is one of the best place to dine on Vegas Strip for gluten free food that won’t make you feel like a second class citizen.

Lots of GF options on the menu and everything is clearly marked. There are even additional items on the menu that are not marked GF but can be made to accommodate so be sure to ask your server about it.

Waitstaff are very knowledgeable. They are not a certified GF facility but good amount of care were given to ensure food safety.

It might not be super obvious but some dish are much larger than the others. The chicken and waffle dish can really serve 2. The whole bird would feed a family of 4.

Got a reservation at Yardbird (would suggest getting one) and was not disappointed. I was with a party of six and they stated as quickly. Items on the menu were marked gluten-free. Server was knowledgeable. I got the chicken and waffles and I did not disappoint. It was more food than one person should eat so I shared with the table. The rest of the table was not gluten-free and they all agreed that it tasted wonderful.

Unreal. I was overwhelmed with this meal. Fried chicken and waffles that were GF.. wow! Server was super knowledgeable. Manager came by to reassure us that the order was put in with celiac note. Got the famous chicken and waffles and it was delicious!

One of the first questions the hostess asked was, are there any allergies in your group. The Waiter did the same. Everything was clearly marked. They had GF Chicken and waffles! I ordered the scallops, which were delicious. Half way through I asked if my daughter's french fries were GF. Waiter said no but I can get you an order of GF fries! Everything was very tasty. My family loved their gluten filled meals as well. Overall it was a great experience.

I got the fried Chicken and Waffles! It was amazing and the staff is very knowledgeable. My daughter and I both have celiac and we feel fine after eating there last night. The server was very knowledgeable and helpful.

We shared fried chicken and waffles, street corn, hash browns and Brussels sprouts. We took enough to go to have it for dinner. We put it in the fridge in our room.

The Key Lime Bar for dessert was delicious to me but my daughter said, "Mom this is basically yogurt." LOL It's like a key lime cream pie with a marzipan crust.

I was pretty disappointed in this restaurant. Yes the fried chicken was delicious. However, the fried chicken and waffles, and collard greens are the only options on the menu. My server went back and forth to the kitchen several times to confirm - mashed potatoes are brought in, not made in house and have gluten. The fries are tossed in flour, salads have gluten elements as do salad dressing. I found it odd that they go out of the way for one, and only one, option.

Update June 2024: Favorite stop for our visits to Vegas...and Dallas, ....and LA....lol. we stop at Yard Bird wherever we go....., let me say, this was the best meal we had on our trip to Vegas. Worth the money. My wife is gluten free and she was over the moon for that chicken. She has never had gf chicken except her own. It was delicious, a real treat. Won big points with the wife!

GF Tip: Note, most everything is available gluten free. It is not quite labeled that way on the menu, so was a little confusing until the server clarified for us. Great service.

Update June 2024 GF Tip: For waffle, remember ask for GF syrup, regular is not . Ask for allergies right up front. Technically the Bourbon syrup is cooked through per the server, both syrups are gluten free, but to be cautious may want the regular syrup. .

Yardbird in LA is awesome! It's got a cool vibe, like a hip country bar. We tried the fried chicken with sides this time, and it was incredible, just as good as their famous chicken and waffles. The broccoli and mashed potatoes were on point too. Thanks to Yardbird for having a lot of gluten-free options - my wife is gluten intolerant. . We love that Yardbird never lets us down, no matter which location we visit!

Awesome place! The chicken and waffles were awesome! It is on the lower level of the Venetian. Took us a while to find it. It’s under the water canal ride.
