Have you ever had Brazilian cheese bread? It’s made with tapioca starch, egg whites, and cheese. The outside is crunchy and the inside is slightly gooey and stretchy. This is basically what the GF pizza crust is made out of. Some people don’t like the texture of the crust because they are accustomed to crusts made with flours. I will admit that the crust is better fresh from the oven, so my first two slices are better than the last two (yes, I eat four slices…. If I’m gonna eat pizza, I’m not going to diet!). This crust is also best when the pizza isn’t fully loaded with tons of toppings, as it doesn’t have the same structure/firmness of wheat made crust. I usually just get the cheese pizza with fresh garlic, basil, and parm on top. If we are wanting more we get pepperoni, buy one topping is best with this pizza (if you mind it bending/sagging). The safety of this establishment is not something I can weigh in on. I’ve never asked if their space is separated or what their precautions are.
I got a free bday pizza and they didn't upcharge me for GF. They said they cook it on a clean pan so I'm not certain if it's safe for Celiac but my immediate wheat allergy was not triggered in the least.
I ordered meatballs on my pizza and the waitress was unsure if it had wheat so a manager came by my table and told me the wheat ingredients and offered ground beef instead. Very thankful and yummy!
I ordered a couple of GF pizzas for takeout. The crust was completely different. The crust did not seem to be like UDIs but was thicker. I do believe it was GF because it was undercooked and didn't look like normal pizza crust or bread. However, there was a fair amount of cross contamination. No cramping or vomiting but definitely a reaction. Will not return.
The gluten free pizza is the best I’ve had, however when we visited today I was given a regular pizza. I didn’t realize until after a few bites unfortunately.
I ordered the gluten free pizza, told them I understood that the risk of cross contamination was high, but greatly appreciated any extra precautions they could make. I got so sick. I don't blame them because I knew it was a risk, but won't order from them again. Definitely not safe. On top of that, the toppings were mediocre at best.
Great Gluten free pizza! They're a decent size (14"). It has a nice chewy inside but crisp outside texture. We've had takeout and eaten in with 2 celiacs (one being symptomatic) and no issues. The biggest downside is that really the only option is the pizza, and I'm not sure they do real isolation for prep and baking.
This was the best Gluten free crust I have ever had. They made cheesey bread also gluten free.
The only gluten free food option is the pizza and the gf pizza comes in one size with a $3 up charge. I ordered the margherita pizza. The crust wasn’t cooked all the way through so it was still a little doughy, but it still tasted above average compared to other gf crusts. The server brought my pizza out separately. I have celiac and didn’t get sick. They used to carry a gf beer (Holidaily), but said they stopped.
The last time I went there they charged me the price of a 29 inch New York size pizza for a 10 inch gluten free. I don’t complain to the manager often but this was an occasion I did. Just because it was gluten free they also charged us the price per topping for a bigger pizza. We also got a gluten reaction. Do not recommend.
Update: been here three times in 2023 with no issues
Fun ambiance, good service and great food. Very good GF crust. Had the snowbird pizza (bbq sauce, red onion, roasted chicken and pineapple). It was wonderful. The crusts come to them sealed. They use separate utensils, pans and change gloves when you tell the server to mark it celiac. They bring it out and announce it was very carefully prepared Gf. Felt safe and didn’t get sick. $5 HH margaritas as big as your head. HH is every day 3-6pm and all day Sunday. No Gf food options for HH. They have seltzer and cider on tap (not on HH)
Gf pizza is good but I got sick. Cross contamination is huge here
Not a lot of options for GF, but there food is good. I avoided the pizza because they say on the menu the GF pizzas are cooked with the other pizzas and there will probably be contamination. I got the cheese burger with ff, but no bun. Burger was good, just wish they had more options.
We had a wonderful experience! The gf pizza crust was the best I’ve ever had. It was thicker and more like actual crust rather than thin and crunchy like most gf pizza. The topping options were amazing and I felt like the waiter knew what they were doing. Highly recommend!
Wife was very sick after eating their gluten free pizza. Very contaminated. Do not go there. After I inspected her pizza I discovered it was not a gf crust. I asked when picking them up. The girl at the register checked the tag and said yes. She lied. The tag clearly did not say gf. Don’t trust them.
My two Celiac teens said that this was the best gfree pizza they had ever had and I have to agree. A bit pricey but so worth it. We picked it up and it was ready in 30 minutes. We had the steak with green peppers on a white sauce and the margarita pizza both were so tasty with a nice soft crust. $3 extra for gfree crust. Wish there was one in Illinois.
The staff wasn’t too friendly but they’re weren’t rude. Food came very fast, we ordered the GF pizza. But both my friend and I are very sensitive to gluten and we came home with a stomach ache. Usually if I even eat a bite of gluten it’s pretty bad so I think there must have been some traces of gluten or cross contamination. They also have a few GF beer/cider options
This was the best gluten free pizza I've ever had-hands down! And it's not Udi's! The sauce is garlicky and sweet, excellent service, and it's a very hip, fun space!
Ordered the GF pizza and it was disappointing. I had a reaction too. The staff does not exhibit adequate knowledge of GF needs or even seem to care. If you are sensitive to gluten, consider other options before eating here.
