The manager was able to confirm the only option for me would be a fruit bowl which they would cut up fresh, which was fine for me. I was there to visit with a friend, rather than have lunch. While I didn't expect there to be gluten free options, I was hugely disappointed when I got glutened due to cross contact from the fresh fruit bowl and glass of water. Cross contact protocols need to be drastically improved. Reaction was very severe.

Careless kitchen staff. Got my order wrong, had to send it back which made me concerned about gluten free precautions. Definitely was exposed to gluten. Felt quite sick after.

Gluten sensitive, not safe for celiac. They mention there is cross contamination for everything on the menu. The gluten sensitive options are all fruit based.

They have some gluten-free options that you don't get at other breakfast places, like gluten-free crepes and toast, but there's not a lot of safety as far as cross-contamination. Everything is grilled/pan fried, and the potatoes have their own line so they are safe, but crepes are cooked on the same surfaces as the regular crepes. I didn't ask about the toast nor the fried eggs but I presume they are also not in dedicated spaces. That being said I did order poached eggs with potatoes and fruit and it was lovely! The server was super kind and accomodating to my questions and even kindly checked and informed me when I didn't think to ask that the hollandaise sauce had gluten (I'm still really new to celiac and originally ordered eggs benedict without the English muffin). It was a good experience even though the options were a bit limited if you're worried about cross-contamination!

I called to ask, and they said the only thing that might be safe here for someone with Celiac Disease is a bowl of fruit. Even with the bowl of fruit, however, they said they couldn’t guarantee no cross-contamination.

There were two gf options on the menu. I chose the sorghum crepe with eggs, ham and bacon. I specified that I was celiac. However, my breakfast came with non gf sausage on top of my eggs and crepe, as well as gf bread toasted in the same toaster as non gf bread. I told the waiter (whom I believe was the manager) that I couldn’t eat the meal due to cross contamination. He asked to to just remove the sausages and eat the rest (all with a condescending look). As I tried to explain why I couldn’t eat it, he kept cutting me off and tried to blame me for not knowing how it is at Cora’s restaurants. Yes, it was my first time there but after being clear about my needs, I don’t expect attitude from staff. In the end, I had a bowl of fruit.

Not celiac safe. They had gluten free bread for toast but everything is done in the same kitchen with the same utensils and they were unwilling to make any effort to make it safe. The waitress told me I’d ‘probably be ok’ with some fruit. That was it. We left.

Cora serves breakfast and lunch. Gluten free bread and gluten sensitive crepes are available. (The crepes are buckwheat, but due to the cooking area are susceptible to cross contamination). I found the egg dishes to be just okay, but my daughter rated them very good. There was an up charge of $1.50 for the GF bread (which was quite good).

I called ahead of time to ask if the GF toast advertised on their menu was toasted in a separate toaster and was told yes. Upon arrival, I informed the server that I had celiac disease and was told that in fact, they “get busy” often and “sometimes toast regular toast in the GF toaster”. I ended up allowing the rest of my party to eat and had a GF granola bar in my purse. Very disappointing that they have a supposed “GF” toaster that isn’t gluten free. Will not return.

The bacon is paper thin and the gluten free bread is tiny and tasteless. I had the French toast and it was not even brown. I asked if it was even dipped. It had no taste and was so dry that as soon as syrup touched it, it went to mush. And it was expensive !! Over $10 of course there is an additional charge for the gluten free bread......So disappointed.
