Their gluten free thick crust pizza taste great!
I ordered a build your own pizza with grilled chicken and pineapple topped with ranch (I didn’t do a flavored crust). Some of the best Gluten Free pizza I’ve had. It’s not super thin like most Gf pizzas (I don’t like thin crust). I’m eating it as we speak so I’ll come back if I have any issues from it.
OH MY GOSH. This was the best gluten free pizza I’ve had since being diagnosed Celiac!! My husband even tried it and agreed. I asked if they would change gloves to prep mine and the manager said they automatically change gloves, prep space, and cooking plates for all GF pizzas. I was so impressed & eased my food anxiety as well. It’s also very affordable for a gluten free pizza! 10/10 ⭐
The service was fast and very friendly. Delivered right to my hotel room. The value for the money was decent when it comes to gluten-free and it seems safe enough. I have celiac and did not get sick but the taste is sort of Domino’s and not real pizza kind of pizza if you know what I mean so don’t expect a fabulous pizza although the crust is fine, it’s just mediocre pizza but definitely the only place that was open for delivery where I am now so I’m glad they were and I appreciate the food
They offer a gf crust. Reluctantly I ordered for the first time. It was great! I ordered online and noted I needed GF. They went out of their way to make sure I knew that they prepared it with care and cut it with a new clean cutter. It was delicious, truly one of the best gf crusts I’ve ever had. Their safe gf items are listed online.
in my opinion, their gf pizza is too chewy and doesn’t taste good. didn’t get sick but i would not eat it again :(
The owner of this establishment is very cautious about cross contamination and has trained his people well! They prepare the gf pizza separately, brush out the oven, and bake the pizza on a tray. I’ve never gotten sick and neither has my celiac son.
They usually have deals and I typically pay 10-12 total for a gf pizza whereas other nearby places will charge closer to $20. AND they deliver. Magic!
Their gluten free crust is delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by it. I watched their video on gf and it also says all the crust flavorings are gf but I had already ordered so next time I want to try adding a flavor!
Delicious pizza!! The sauce and cheese were incredible, the most realistic GF pizza I’ve had. If you are celiac or super sensitive, proceed with caution; they do have a disclaimer about cross contact.
The service was great and they understood my needs. All the pizza can be done on a 10 inch small crust. They have one of the best gluten free pizza crust 😋 I have eaten. And I waited for a day before I wrote this review. I didn't get sick from the pizza. It was so delicious 😋, will go back again and again 😋
We call in and speak with the employees when we order GF. They take great care and precautions!

I dunno what gluten allergy y’all have but I took your words for it and tried it only to find out three hours later I was sick as hell.
I confirmed with the manager afterwards, the crust is gf, the oven and everything else is not. If you have true celiac, the gluten is everywhere. It’s a pizza place.

This gluten free crust is the closest that I’ve had to regular crust.
For gluten sensitivity, the pizza is really good. My friend who is sensitive doesn’t react but there is cross contamination. Not recommended for people with celiacs disease.
Celiacs family. GF pizza is great. Only comes in a small which is a bummer but it is packaged dough and so is kept separate from regular dough. My family is super sensitive to cross contamination and haven’t had any issues!
My kiddo is gluten intolerant and orders gluten-free pizza here regularly. He's never gotten sick. He usually skips the flavored crust, opting for plain. It's his favorite pizza place in the area. Employees are knowledgeable and friendly.

I regularly get my pizza here! Always very good! Never been glutened! My only complaint is that I like sauce and they are very stingy on the sauce for the gluten free pizza. Asked and paid for extra sauce and it's the same! I have to explain each order
We get pizza every time we travel and this is by far THE BEST gluten free crust we have ever had. Not a thin, crisp crust like most. it is thicker, soft and chewy. Mmmm...so good!

Surprisingly, the best gluten free pizza of any national pizza chain I’ve tried yet. Super sensitive to cross contamination and have eaten from here multiple times without any reactions.
I have a severe gluten allergy, and have been completely off of it for a few years now. I've tried tons and tons of different gluten-free pizzas all over different states, and I can safely say hungry Howie's is the best I've tried by a long shot!! I haven't had any reactions after I've eaten there. They seem confident on their cross contamination procedures. A lot of gluten free pizzas are very cracker like and thin, where as their pizzas are very thick and have a good texture. it's especially good with double cheese and sauce.

Nothing they have is safe for a Celiac. Cross contamination isn’t avoidable in a place this size. Don’t risk it. The employees are nice and the service is good, but the food is not gluten free.
Best GF pizza crust I've ever had! Seriously delicious. I'm not sure what precautions they take in the kitchen. I personally didn't get sick, but I know some people are more sensitive than me.
Hungry Howies literally has the best tasting crust of any gluten free pizza I have tried, and I have searched far and wide. Spoke with owner about the gluten free option and feel very confident that they take pride in their work and make sure to keep things separated for those of us who need gluten free. Have never gotten sick when eating their pizza. Love this place!!
I work here and have eaten/made the small gluten free crust before and it is one of our best crusts that we carry! We have a dedicated pan that only the gluten free crusts go on, and yes they are washed after being used. Cross contamination is somewhat of an issue but with gluten free and vegetarian items, we do try to be careful when it comes to making/preparing them. I would recommend giving the gluten-free pizzas a go! Also, we have lots of salad options!
They are upfront about the risks of cross-contamination. I’ve had it twice with no issues. Multiple crust flavor options create variety.
The pizza is unlike any other gluten free pizza. I called back after we brought it home to make sure it truly was gluten free. I am celiac, didn't have any issues. Definitely recommend!
Love going here! I eat here at least twice a month with no problems! I get a gluten free pizza with ham and green pepper and they don’t over cook the crust like some locations do (because it’s been black on the underside before) love it! *** update- they got a new gf crust and I think I like the prior one better
Literally the best gluten free pizza! I have Celiac Disease and although they don’t suggest their gluten free pizza for Celiacs, I have not had any reactions!!!
The GF pizza was yummy, but not exactly GF. I got sick after eating at Hungry Howie's. Come to find out they have little flyers in their shop that explain that they do not take precautions are not celiac safe. Wish I would have known this before eating their pizza, but there you have it. Good pizza, just not for people with celiac disease.
My son is gluten sensitive, not celiac and he got really sick from the pizza.
Pizza is tasty but I think there’s too much cross contamination. I tried it twice and I got deathly sick both times.

This is absolutely not gluten free and needs to be removed from this site. Not only does a nima sensor sense it, but the sign in the restaurant says its not safe for celiacs by their omission. Its way above the 20 ppm required rate to even make a gluten free claim. Thats not subjective at all, just fact which is why this place needs to be removed. The gluten free claim in this case is completely fraudulent.

Kitchen staff acknowledged celiac and gluten sensitivity. Gluten free pizza crust is delivered to them and cooked in a special thing to avoid cross contamination. The Pizza was so good!
I was here out of town for a Pilates training and got in late. A lot of other gluten free pizza deliveries were closed. They weren’t. Delicious pizza! Very good crust! I was in disbelief at first that it was gluten free!

They don’t have a separate kitchen space. I got sick. Try at your own risk (but I don’t recommend it if you have celiac.)
This is a newer location and I did not have time to inquire about handling procedures, but I did not get sick. The pizza tasted great, but was costly for its size. Thankfully, some menu deals apply to the small gluten free.
The absolute best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. I have Celiac and have had no issues. The crust is delicious and topping are plentiful. Highly recommend!!!
They have gluten free pizza crust, which are packaged separately in their own baking containers, so they do not get contaminated in the oven. Called to check and they use separate pizza slicers for the GF pizza. Kind of chewy but pretty good for gluten free
They have a gluten free crust. They changed crust recently to try another one. Seems fine. I know nothing about how they prep it or cook it.
I have Celiac and eaten here twice with no problem. Even the flavored crust is gluten free. They have a disclaimer that they cannot guarantee no cross contamination. I am very sensitive so I've been impressed.

Their GF pizza is not just another frozen cardboard-like or dissolving rice flour like crust. They also have Gluten-Free crust sauces/flavors (currently all of their crust flavors and sauces are GF)! Hungry Howie's has an extensive list online and in store to help you pick toppings, flavor combos etc. While I still wish that restaurant's could come up with a nice bubbly soft crust that is not thin crust this pizza hits the spot and doesn't make you feel like you are ordering a "less-than" option as compared to your dinner mates. Their crust and GF pizza in general tastes fantastic and it is NOT some awkward texture or needing toppings to cover up the non-enticing flavor of said crust! I am very pleased!! I am not guaranteeing celiac friendly however my Celiac has not been triggered and I have eaten here thrice before reviewing as I truly was in a bit of disbelief at first. I hope that you Enjoy!!!

I was ordering pizza today and was pleasantly surprised that HH offered gluten free pizza!! It was pretty good! I've had my share and this isn't always the case. I give them a thumbs up and will definitely be ordering again for family pizza nights! It is so great to not be left out when ordering pizza!! I do not know if their oven is dedicated gluten free. I am not celiac, but am pretty sensitive. I did not get any adverse effects from eating their GF pizza. Enjoy!!!

I'm just trying it out. Saw they have a gluten free crust advertised. Probable cross contamination since they are most likely cooked in the same ovens as the other pizzas.
Best gluten free crust around. I have tried others in the area, and this crust is nice and crisp where others tend to be a bit doughy. It does say on their website not for celiac. This crust is even great cold the next morning!
We moved to the country and left behind our favorite GF pizza: Detroit Style Pizza Country. All hope was NOT lost. Hungry Howie's came through with a good GF pizza made in a GF dedicated space with separate utensils and ingredients. The crust is thin and only comes in a small, but that is normal for GF pizzas. 5 stars just for being.
I've eaten here 3 times since discovering they sold GF pizza and have not had a reaction so far. I'm a pretty sensitive celiac, so that's a good sign. Pizza is a little bland, but I put garlic on it at home. Overall good and only $1 more than a regular pizza.
