The staff here is amazing! They are always prepared to take the proper precautions to build an allergy friendly request. I've had the gluten free wrap (which I was informed is dairy free) about 3 times and it's not my favorite (a bit chewy & grainy) but the quality of the ingredients definitely keep me coming back! I was happy to see at least one gluten free option at a sandwich shop, here in the valley that's a huge win!
They did not have gluten free bread, but they did have gluten free wraps available. When mentioning gluten free they switched gloves to prepare my food. Every order is prepared on their own paper wrap so cross contamination was avoided. I had no reaction to the wrap I had! The service was amazing and the food was very good. They offer both warm and cold sandwiches/wraps so you can choose between a wide variety of options.
I took a risk eating here after I read a couple of reviews from celiacs. I arrived earlier in the day and there was no line and nobody in the restaurant. The staff seemed confused about preparing the gluten free wrap as an allergy order. She put the GF tortilla in the microwave without a plate. I asked if the microwave had been cleaned first, and she didn’t know, so she wiped it down and got a new tortilla to heat up. They did have a trey marked “Gluten Free” to prepare the wraps, but the woman clearly had no clue what gluten was because she asked if I wanted a cookie at the end and started picking one up to put in my bag before I told her I couldn’t eat it.
I was fairly paranoid when I got home, concerned she may have used a regular tortilla instead of a GF tortilla. I ate it, and no immediate symptoms, but I’m nauseous today. I was already having some digestive issues so I’m not 100% sure if I got glutened there or not, but I definitely don’t recommend this place for celiacs. They are not well trained and clearly don’t know what gluten is.
The food was really good they had many GF options which was nice but what I did notice was that when they put your food in the toaster there’s cross contamination there (I didn’t know she was gonna put it in until she did lol.) as long as you don’t toast anything you will be fine they were super nice with me telling them I had celiac and she did her best with what she knew
Enjoyed my "truly vegan" wrap in a gluten free wrap. It was very good, and produce was fresh. However, and I blame myself for not thoroughly checking first, the wrap is made with egg. Also, I can't have soy, and the hummus and the wrap both have soy products in them. I'm learning....
Wraps are good but not entirely gluten free. They will serve you on a gluten free wrap but take no precautions like changing gloves unless asked. I had to request the person making my wrap to change gloves midway through the process because I saw her touch someone else's bread to put it in the toaster. Also, I don't think it's possible for them to be entirely GF since they use the same spatulas for the toppings. They also always throw a cookie in the bag, which is fine because the wrap is wrapped up, but counterintuitive
They now have gluten free bread! I ordered a Mr. Pickles on gf bread and they asked if I'm allergic. When I said yes, they changed their gloves and cleaned the counter for me. They even put my sandwich in a different bag from the regular ones. my sandwich was delicious! I'm definitely going back
You can get any sandwich in a gluten-free wrap.
