We had a great lunch. Jason, the bartender took good care of us. There was a gluten free menu and he was knowledgeable about food intolerances and aware of how he could customize a menu item for me and ask the chef to make what I wanted dairy free as well. Their brewed-onsite root beer was a hit with my kids. The food was very good and I felt safe eating there, I am gluten intolerant but do not have celiac. (There’s a warning on the GF menu about potential cross-contamination.) I tolerated it very well.

Just stopped here again this year they now have a gluten free menu. The staff understands celiac and can accommodate your needs. Our waiter broke down the menu and I was able to have numerous options. He also double checked everything with the chef to make sure it would be safe. They also are very aware of cross contamination.

There is a Gluten FRIENDLY menu and the waiter made sure I was aware there was a possibility for cross contamination as they are not a gluten free restaurant.
Good selection of menu items. The sautéed Brussels had a good flavor. And the pizza with cauliflower crust was really good with the edges crispy!
Not the place for you if celiac or very sensitive to cross contamination but otherwise it’s very good.

Great experience. Dedicated GF menu. Nice variety of salad entrees and pizza with cauliflower crust. Tasty food. We let the waiter know my son is Celiac and the waiter knew all about it and said made sure to tell everyone in the kitchen to prepare all of our food separately and with clean gloves and noted it all over our mean tickets. We will be going back for sure.

Disclaimer on GF menu states possible cross contamination as kitchens are not so equipped. I ordered the strawberry goat cheese spinach salad and a cauliflower crust pizza. Service was great, and food was delicious.

Great food. Friendly staff. There is a "gluten-friendly" menu. They don't guarantee gluten free since there are gluten foods utilized in the kitchen. Ordered the pizza on cauliflower crust with no reaction.

The last time I was here I got a salad that I had gotten before. It came with tortilla chips on top which I didn’t remember it having so I asked to make sure they weren’t fried since they don’t have a dedicated fryer. The server said no they aren’t fried. After eating several bites they came back and said there was a mistake and they were fried and I got very sick. Haven’t been back since.

They have a gluten friendly menu. One of the appetizers states it comes with soy sauce but after checking with the kitchen it was determined that it was not gluten free soy sauce so I ordered the appetizer without it. I also ordered dinner off of the gluten friendly menu and got severely contaminated. Just be aware eating here, I don't think they fully understand gluten free.

Had a separate gluten free menu and the kitchen was easily able to adapt those dishes for my other allergies (dairy & soy) as well. Food was tasty, filling, and very reasonably priced.

While they do they have a whole GF menu, most of the items are salads, veggie appetizers, etc, which is no fun when your friends are ordering yummy bar food. However, they do have GF pizza made with cauliflower crust. The crust was actually really delicious, even my non-gf friend enjoyed it. I just don’t know how safe the kitchen/oven is. Fortunately, I had no reaction, but I would definitely proceed with caution. No ciders and only one seltzer available which was a bummer!

No gluten free beer… would be nice to have a beer with the rest of my party. Had to have a tequila and soda. The menu had GF food options marked, but we only went for drinks and football before a concert.

Just went recently and they have a gluten free menu. The person that seated us said the cauliflower pizza was amazing. I ended up getting the salmon because the sever said people come there just for the salmon. It was amazing. I will go back and try the pizza.
Went back and they got rid of gluten free menu and salmon. Sad it was my go to place and now it's not worth going back.

Their cauliflower pizza is amazing, one of the best ones I’ve ever had.
Before eating gluten free I used to get their nachos but I was told they are likely cross-contaminated which is why I never ordered them again since. No dedicated fryer for gf food

Menu is not marked. Staff isn’t trained in what items could be safe and leaves it up to the customer to figure out how to modify. Claimed that the kitchen understood cross contamination; I got sick anyway.

Had an outstanding waitress who knew exactly the seriousness of celiac. She recommended the burger as it had lower chance of cross contamination and their gluten free buns are individually wrapped until prepped. She also knew the fries went in the same cooker as breaded chicken so was able to sub with a salad. First time going here as GF and used to go here all the time prior. Glad they have options because the burgers are awesome!

They often are out of GF beer, which is one of the selling points of going here. They do not have a dedicated fryer so the fries are a no go. I went here once and they put a GF allergen flag in my food but yesterday they did not, which made me question if the food was really GF. The waitress seemed distracted as well. I didn’t feel comfortable with it, and the food was not good enough to make it worth the anxiety.

I called before making a reservation. They sounded reliable, telling me they are careful with food preparation for allergies. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with roasted potatoes. It was delicious, and I was fine. When glutened, I react violently after a couple of hours. This was a very positive experience. We were a group of 11. Our waitress, Regiba, works very hard and is a truly pleasant woman.

Very good. They have a GF menu if you ask, which helpfully lists which BBQ sauces are not GF. The french fries are specified to not be GF, but they can bake them for you instead. The results were a little anemic, and since it does not appear that the fries are battered, I might take my chances with the (presumably) shared fryer next time.
I ordered a burger with a GF bun that was nicely toasted and tasted great. As I used to get burgers at places like this, it was really enjoyable, but there were enough other options on the menu that I could have eaten well either way. Did not have any problems afterward; would highly recommend.

I love the food here, but this is the second time in a row that I’ve gotten glutened. The server seems so knowledgeable, but they do not bring the food to you. In the past they could print a gluten free menu for me, but not in March, 2023.

If they are busy, forget about it. They won’t accommodate or they will “try” and you will be contaminated.
If they are not busy, and Chef Jorge is available—he can ensure your meal is gluten-free. His partner has celiac so he is very aware.

The staff was exceptionally well prepared with knowledge about gluten sensitivities. The front hostesses let me know that they considered themselves capable of being gluten friendly but exclusively celiac safe because they couldn’t be sure they were 100% cross contamination free. The waiter knew immediately that the fryer wasn’t dedicated, and knew which sauces had gluten. He was thorough and asked a lot of questions.
The bangers (sausage) had gluten and so did the onion sauce, so I went with a pub burger on a GF bun with a non fried side. The pub sauce has soy sauce so the waiter told me and we had it prepared without it.
service- a plus. Food- super tasty. Been a few hours and no issues. Get a cocktail and enjoy yourself!

I’m so disappointed. Told waiter about my intolerance to gluten and dairy and I asked if there was a gf menu. No. He said he would help me with the options I have… I studied the menu for what would be my “safest” option. Carne asada tacos. A bit pricey but at least it would be safe (or so I thought). He didn’t help me at all. My tacos come on flour tortillas!!! I got his attention after several minutes and asked for corn tortillas- they don’t have them. What really? He offered to bring me something else but my daughter was already enjoying her steak so I said I’ll just eat the meat …. Definitely not a place for celiacs!!

I’ve eaten here several times and it can be done safely but takes some self-advocating.
The options are somewhat limited, but they do have gf buns for the burgers, which are delicious.
The servers are not always the most knowledgeable (I’ve gotten conflicting information about whether or not they use a shared frier - after speaking to the manager, they do so know that fries are not safe, no matter what the server may tell you.)
I was once brought out a burger with a non-GF bun but the server had mixed up my meal with someone else’s.
Overall you can eat safely but definitely takes some awareness. Ask many questions and talk to the manager if in doubt.

Went here this week. Avoid it. It was super disappointing. I used to seek out iron hill because they were one of the few places in early 2010s that offered a gf menu. Well now they don't have a gf menu and staff wasn't clear on what I could have. Originally they said two menu items were gluten free plus the sweet potato fries. So I ordered the fries only for them to later come tell me it's a shared fryer. I appreciate them checking with me. Staff was nice. It's just a shame the restaurant has taken several steps backward as far as special diet accommodations.

I stopped due to the high reviews, but they did not offer a GF menus like some stated. The waitress was happy to walk me over options and told me to stick to protein or veggies to avoid cross contamination, as it is a brewery. I was able to get flank steak and asparagus! I did not end up sick and I am a sensitive Celiac so that's a win for me!

No GF menu as earlier reviews indicated which was a bit disappointing and no dedicated GF fryer. The waitress didn’t seem very knowledgeable about GF menu options but was kind enough to check with the chef and she gave me one or two options from the menu that they could do (a steak with spinach and no fries or salmon with quinoa). I ended up with the salmon which was tasty, but was a little disappointed there weren’t many options.

They must have changed things up because there is no gluten free menu, and no indication of what can be made gluten free. The waitress was knowledgeable about what is gluten free or not and confident they could accommodate me and that they take allergies serious to avoid cross contamination. I got a salad because I felt it was my safest option. The waitress was unsure if the dressing was gluten free but said she’d ask, and it came with no dressing.. which makes me feel there was good communication about my allergy to the kitchen staff. I just wish things were marked as gluten free so it was easier to decide on a menu item. However, the food was delicious and I did not get sick so I will definitely come back!
