Our server was fantastic, even going so far as to bring out the ingredients for a special item, so that I could see if it was gluten free for myself! (it was the firecracker bacon, and the answer is probably not GF)
The blueberry muffin, as others have said, is wonderful
Menu has clearly marked gluten-free options, they do not have gluten-free white bread but they do have gluten-free "multigrain"(wheat-style) bread. Their hollandaise sauce is gluten free. Could not find gluten-free pancake options, but there was plenty of options! They do toast the gluten-free bread in the same toaster as their non-gluten-free bread however. The waitress was knowledgeable and was able to check with the kitchen about some edge questions.
So many menu options! They have everything labeled GF on their menu, but do have a disclaimer that cross contact is possible in the kitchen. I asked about their allergen protocol and was informed that they are knowledgeable and keep the GF food separate from other food. The waitress I had was very knowledgeable with allergen protocol and informed me that their GF toast is made in the same toaster as their normal bread- so avoid the GF toast if you are celiac or super sensitive to gluten. Everything was delicious; the GF blueberry muffin was to die for. I will be coming back for sure!
We like Scrambler’s for a quick breakfast option on the weekends. They have GF items marked on the menu. I believe they have gluten free bread but they use the same toaster for all bread so I substitute fruit. Also be sure to remind the server of your allergy and ask the cooks to change gloves. The servers aren’t very knowledgeable but as long as I’m clear about my celiac, it’s fine. Haven’t gotten sick from them yet and we go quite regularly.
We did have a new server so he had to enlist others to help with my gluten free questions/order.
They did a good job of keeping my food gluten free (omelette and has browns).
Ate an omelette for breakfast with a nice fruit cup side along with yogurt. The menu indicates the potatoes and hash browns are GF but they’re cooked in a shared fryer. Same with the bacon. GF bread is toasted in a shared toaster. I also passed on the GF blueberry muffin as it was not in a sealed wrapper. Back to my omelette and sides - all tasty and I am fine hours later.
This is a Denny's type experience, the food was definitely low end. My fresh fruit was warm, my egg bowl was not warm, and the ingredients were low end. They had some things listed as Gluten-free that I know due to the process of how it is made is not Gluten-free. Will not be eating there again.
Kudos to Marie’s Scrambler! So pleased to see a huge menu change this week at Marie’s Scrambler to include 30+ gluten free items. GF Menu items include omelettes, skillets, GF breakfast meat options, GF potato chunks and hash browns, a GF Blueberry Muffin, GF toast, fruits, etc. The staff is wonderful and all too happy to accommodate!
I had a very good breakfast here. Although the waitress didn’t know much about whether individual items were gluten free, she was very helpful in inquiring. The kitchen was knowledgeable and confirmed that anything ordered as gluten free would be prepared on a separate surface. The waitress also offered to swap fruit for the bread, which I appreciated! I felt fine after eating here.
Gluten free menu. Food was excellent. No gluten free carbs (bread, pancakes, waffles) but extensive menu.
