My personal go to burger in Boulder. GF fryer and outstanding gluten free buns make a really enjoyable GF dining experience. Mention allergy and they'll keep your bun completely separate to mitigate contamination. Eaten here frequently 5+ years and never had an issue - would highly recommend.
The food was amazing the last time I visited. I got a hamburger with a gluten free bun. Their buns are so soft and delicious. Then I got a side of tots and fries because I couldn't decide between the two. The tots were so crunchy and amazing. It is a tad on the expensive side but I definitely think it is worth it.
So many options! The menu board calls out that items that go in the fryer are prepared gluten-free. Additionally, staff are knowledgeable; at least one member of the back-of-house team is celiac. My only complaint is that the fried items are a little too salty - ask for no extra salt. However, where else are you going to get fried avocado slices? Fried pickles? I got mine with a salad because burgers are honestly easier to come by than the fried items.
They treated my gluten free request as an allergy which is amazing! They have gf buns and the fries are done in a seperate fryer so they are gf as well! Super friendly and helpful lady at the register too!!
The food here was absolutely great! They put a little stick in my burger to indicate gluten free and brought mine out separately, which is always very reassuring. They have fries too, which were so so good- I haven’t had fries in a year and they were delicious! Also, the restaurant itself is great- not a huge waiting time, perfect for a casual meal.
Larkburger is my favorite 'fast food' option in town. I get the chicken burger with a GF bun and fries. They also have gluten free fried chicken burgers and onion rings! They are very sensitive to celiac disease/gluten free needs (and I believe the buns are the only thing with gluten in the entire restaurant).
So, so good! Everything on the menu is gluten free except the brioche bun. Staff took extra time to answer my questions. My order was clearly marked with an allergy warning and came out on a separate tray from my husbands. I got the cheddar bacon Larkburger. The house sauce is so good. They even have a gluten free ice cream cone
My daughter is Celiac, and we've eaten here a few times without a problem. Unfortunately, during the summer, we got take out, and they had grilled her GF bun, and she got sick for several days. We went back another time and really made a point to say Celiac, don't grill the bun... and the bun arrived at our table grilled. I think they have a lot of turnover, and details like that don't transfer well. Their fryer is GF, and my daughter can eat a whole order and not get sick. So yes, Celiac friendly, but do tell them not to toast/grill the bun because of cross contamination.
I appreciate the plentiful gluten free options (especially the milkshakes!) but this location is really dirty inside as others have mentioned, the fries were just a small box of small 1in or smaller potato bits, and the lettuce wrap on my burger was ridiculously huge. There was so much lettuce that I couldn’t even bite the burger without removing most of it, which just is a waste of food. There was grease and trash all over the floor of the restaurant and the person who took our orders didn’t smile once.
I would highly recommend this Larkburger for people with celiacs. The Burger’s are great, and the GF bun looks so much like a regular bun I would have been suspicious it was not GF except for the fact that it was labeled GF with stick that said “Gluten Free”. They have a dedicated fryer for french fries. Delicious.
Great burgers and fries. Good gf buns. I recommend the truffle fries
Best fast food burgers in town!!
GF bun option is available. It is an additional cost. The bun only comes in the full size. So you can order the small burger but it will come on a regular size bun if you want the GF option.
Fries are amazing!!
This is our go to place for gluten free burgers! They are delicious and no cross contamination!
When served, they practically threw our tray. GF burger touching the regular. The burger was cold and not cooked. Yuck. I do not send food back, ate 1/2 of it, and got sick. Big mistake. This is a wannabe restaurant.
