Gluten-Free at Ed's Easy Diner

I felt that Ed's Diner did not really take my daughters coeliac disease seriously. She had no choice the only option was a beef burger with a gluten free bun. I would not eat here again.

Very impressed. They have a GF menu, but the hostess and server were both very upfront that while they do their best they can’t guarantee GF during busy times. They do have a dedicated fryer and dedicated prep space for GF, so despite the disclaimers seemed very knowledgeable. We went for it and my son thoroughly enjoyed and had no reaction, so would definitely go again.

Asked on arrival if we had any allergies. They have separate menus covering a range of allergies. I ordered an all-day breakfast from the gluten-free menu. I was assured that they use a separate fryer for gluten-free. My meal arrived, and the toast didn't smell like gluten-free, and I was sure they'd said there wouldn't be any toast.. I had eaten a few tentative mouthfuls when the server rushed over and said there had been a mistake on the pass and this was a nut-free meal.. There was an instant meeting of chefs and servers to work out what had gone wrong and constant checks that I was ok. Their detailed analysis of the mistake reassured me that they really do care about their customers. I will return there with confidence, just making sure that the meal is definitely GF.

There is a gluten free menu, however all food is prepared very closely together. You can look and watch your food being prepared to be sure!

The staff does not understand celiac. They do have a gluten free menu but some items clearly contain gluten, like hash browns. The food didn’t really taste very good. Service was OK.

Gluten free bun available. GF menu. GF sweet potato fries. Sharp staff. Great service.

Good choice on GF menu and great food. Staff even pointed out our newly GF person had ordered a milkshake containing gluten

Fair warning. They have recently changed menu and can't guarantee safety. They cook pancakes and such on the same grill that they cook the hot dogs and burgers. Ok if you are are gluten sensitive but questionable if Celiac.

Was staying in a hotel in broad street, and Deliveroo'd myself a burger, fries and a milkshake from here. Even on deliveroo you can order from the GF menu. Called them straight after I placed the order to advise I am coeliac as well, was advised that it was no problem. Food arrived hot, and was amazing, got to live a place that is able to serve GF chips!

Awesome range of gf food! They have gluten free burger buns AND hot dog buns, and gf chips and salads etc :) super tasty food and good selection.

Selection of burger meals on gluten free sesame buns.....and they even do chips for coeliacs in a separate Grier. What more can you ask for? Along with the 60's music, it makes for a nice meal out....

Great location right outside of Euston Station with a '50s diner vibe. My son (who has Celiac) just had the Cheese Fries, because he was not that hungry, but their GF menu is certified by Coeliac UK. They have GF hamburger & hot dog buns, a dedicated fryer, 3 GF desserts and even malt -free milkshakes. I only give it 4-stars because I haven't tried everything yet to test for cross-contamination.
