Very disappointed, online their menu shows tons of GF options but when I went to eat in person the server said they couldn’t do anything except fries GF safe. Would not recommend
Most of the items on the menu can be made gluten free. Staff very knowledgeable and attentive, checking if the food was required for a coeliac and ensuring no CC. Food was delicious! My daughter was really happy with her chicken burger and chips. I would definitely recommend this place.
As soon as I said our daughter was coeliac, the waitress was straight onto it! She had a kids burger and chips. Loved it!
I contacted Joe’s prior to double check that they used a separate fryer for gluten free and they confirmed they do. Our coeliac daughter had the grilled chicken burger kids meal and gave it the big thumbs up. No reaction for her either :-)
Had a great fried chicken burger here. I was told that there were only 3 coeliac friendly options on the menu that I could choose from- the fried chicken burger, fried chicken pieces and chips. Fairly limiting, but I appreciate them being upfront and understanding of cross contamination. It was delicious.

I got contaminated here. I was assured my meal would be safe but I was incredibly unwell afterwards. I’ve eaten at other Joes Garages and been fine. Take precaution if going to this one.
Very knowledgeable staff, the food is absolutely delicious! Don’t go past the fried chicken, heaven on earth!

Joe's garage is very coeliac aware with lots of precautions in place and staff are knowledgeable. I was served before by a lady who's siblings had coeliac so I felt very safe. Dedicated fryer, gf pizza bases, burger buns etc. Lots of gf on the menu.
Have been here several times had have no issues. The staff there are very knowledgeable, one is even a coeliac and said she always eats their food. They have a separate fryer for anything gluten free, but most of their fried food is gluten free by default. They are part of a chain and all of the locations I have been to are safe as well.
Fantastic burgers, rated "best ever" by my son (coeliac). Staff appear well educated around coeliac & cross contamination. Crispy chicken a must-try! Fries cooked in dedicated GF fryer. Friendly staff, cosy atmosphere... highly recommend.
Went there with my family for lunch. Was pretty quiet. I was clear and specific about coeliac requirements when ordering and the server was very thorough with her notes for the kitchen. We ordered 3 salads and a hot dish and waited over an hour for them to arrive. When I noticed that both tables either side of us had received their meals despite arriving after us I asked the server when we could expect our food and, after conferring with the kitchen, she told us it was a few minutes away. (I generally don't mind waiting a bit longer for food as I understand that the kitchen staff may be waiting to be able to clear surfaces to prep as coeliac safely as possible.) My mother initially ordered a salad with halloumi and was told 30 minutes after ordering that there was no more halloumi so to choose something else. She selected salmon. When our food arrived my partner's salmon salad came but my mother was told that there was no more salmon and that she could choose something else, again. She selected chicken. When my salad arrived (I'd ordered Caesar salad, no croutons, coeliac, gf) it looked amazing and I was excited to try it... Until I saw the croutons scattered through the salad underneath the egg and chicken. By this point I no longer felt safe to eat there so we left. Very unsafe food practices and a terrible experience for what looked as if it would have been delicious.

I’ve been to the Wellington branch of this place and happy to say they are coeliac aware at both.
The waitress confirmed that gluten foods are not cooked in the fryer and pointed out menu items that were marked GFO (“Gluten Free Option).
I had the GF beef burger with chips and had no problems š
Owners very understanding and knowledgeable. A lot on the menu is GF. Miss 9 10 LOVES the JFC fried chicken and chips. Fryers are GF. Great family restaurant!
Lots of gluten free options and a good number of gluten free options for vegetarians as well. They had a gluten free fryer for chips, they were very nice.

So great with lots of gluten free options. My 8 year old celiac daughter had lots to eat here and they don’t put any gluten through their fryer.
We let the staff know our son was coeliac and they said that was no problem. Plenty of options on the menu and he ordered from the kids menu and was happy with what he got.

Love Joe’s Garage Silverdale. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Staff understand Coeliac requirements. We eat here often both dine in and takeout. Never had any issues. Lots of yummy gluten free options.

Very understanding waitress confirmed fryer is dedicated gluten free and confirmed with chef that includes fried chicken and gravy.
Only reason I didn’t give full hearts safety rating is they are not dedicated gf but on the other hand they are not throwing pizza dough around….
Fab food, seperate fryer for GF. We’re new to this (husband is coeliac) and they were really helpful. Great atmosphere and our toddler enjoyed it too.

Super yum! I got Uber eats because I saw great reviews and heard the fries are ok for us to eat. Nice to have fries! But they had absolutely no sticker or note saying GF which I thought was weird.

Had a great family lunch here, they have a separate fryer. The fried chicken was delicious and great friendly service from everyone, from the waitress, barista and manager.

Had lunch at Joe’s and it was a great experience. There were many options that were gluten free. They could also adapt most meals to be dairy free. No gluten goes in their fryer and they are aware of cross contamination. It was delicious and I would recommend going there.
Great experience at Joe's! Have been twice in the last week. Staff were incredibly nice, attentive and knowledgeable. Went with my vegan sister who was impressed with their readiness to alter things for her to make them suitable. The fryer is dedicated gluten free as there is nothing deep fried on the menu containing gluten- all meat/nibbles etc. have gluten free crumb. Great selection, yum food, reasonable prices and absolute superstar staff!!!
