Loved the gluten-free bread. I also loved that they did not charge extra for it, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced that anywhere else. They prepared it in a separate area. Overall it was probably one of the best sandwiches I’ve had.

I ordered delivery so was slightly worried. My sandwich and salad both had gluten free stickers on them. I’m a very sensitive celiac and felt fine. I ordered the next day too while on a brief vacation. Lots of gf options and can order all sandwiches without cheese if needed.

I am super sensitive and have been only ordering salads or soups in fear that the sandwiches are not safe. I ordered one today and feel great! I watched the prep, and they changed gloves and don’t really touch the food directly. I feel safe ordering again.

They know the drill for separate preparation. Manager did a couple double checks on sauce of interest, guiding me back to simple mayo and mustard to be safe. Typical GF bread that tends to crumble easy but otherwise good portions and tasty.

Really great sandwiches. They do a great job keeping food from getting cross contaminated.

Had a gluten free bread sandwich with Turkey, avocado and bacon. Yummy
No dedicated prep area at this location
Staff was super-friendly and helpful, but were so focused on the gluten-free protocol that they got our order wrong and we didn’t realize it until we were in the car and they had already locked the doors because they were closing. Sandwiches were eh. Udi’s bread (not a fan) was past it’s prime and promptly fell apart as soon as we took our first bites. Turkey had a funky taste and odor. We ended up not eating them. Won’t be back for this one.
Plenty of options and the staff always asks if the order is preference or "allergy". Love the sandwiches and potato salad!
Yes
They were able to make every sandwich on gluten free bread. They also had a few gf soups too.
Yes
Have gluten free bread and use an allergy kit to prepare sandwiches. Asked if it was allergy or preference so they knew to use all fresh ingredients and be extra careful for celiac.
Yes
Good sand which! They asked if it was an allergy or a preference. Then used a separate preparation space.
Staff were knowledgeable about gf foods and made me a great sandwich!!

Knowledgeable about celiac/gluten allergy did not get sick

Just ate here and I'm perfectly fine! This is the first time I've eaten out since diagnosis and I'm so glad the experience was a good one. Even my receipt says "SUB Gluten-Free Whole Grain [Bread]" and "Allergy!!!" on it. I spoke to the cashier and he assured me they have a food allergy protocol and I would be taken care of. And of course, the sandwich was delicious. THANK YOU!

The staff knew what they had available that was gluten free. My husband and daughter (both have celiac) got chili and potato salad. Both were very happy with their lunch. Everyone was extremely friendly as well. My daughter (9years old) kept thanking me for finding this place for lunch. We will come back when in the area.

We have eaten here and at other Eric’s and always find it easy and safe. Soups and sandwiches

Celiac friendly. They ask if it’s allergy or preference. Great sandwiches and soups. No reaction and I’m extremely sensitive to gluten and cross contamination. Will come back!!

The staff was very knowledgeable and do many gf orders a day. The sandwiches were big and delicious! Well done!

Almost always had gluten free bread and I’ve never gotten sick off of it
I eat here all the time. All sandwiches can be made with Udi’s gluten free bread. Two soups are gluten free also.
First time D E L I C I O U S sandwich.
Erik’s has a gluten free protocol so I was surprised to had been glutened when I ate at this location last 4 years ago. Came back with some coworkers yesterday, ordered my usual GF Pilgrims Progress and no reaction! Glad I can rely on Erik’s to have a safe gluten free meal! Thanks!

They always take gluten allergies seriously! Yay!
This is some of the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had!!! Their sandwich was sooo delicious, I only wish it had more meat. I’m going to see if I can ask for that next time. I really loved that they had a “G” next to the soups they offered if they were gluten free and over all it was a great experience!
Gluten free options are clearly marked on the menu. My sandwich was very good.
Yes
Slightly different bread than another location I’m used to; their stuff was a little mushy. But I love the dedicated GF prep area.

Ran out of gluten free bread- but the half sandwich I had was great! I appreciate being asked “preference or allergy”, and the attention taken :-)

They have a dedicated cutting board and station and can print out what is safe. Very helpful for the most part. I did have one anxious to please worker who told me the Asian dressing was safe but I asked another to confirm that and it indeed had soy sauce. I was glad I pushed it. Delicious soups! They use Udi’s bread.

Great lunch spot - soups, salads, sandwhiches. Menu is labeled for GF options (soups, salads). GF bread available for all sandwiches. I had butternut squash soup and a tuna melt. Lovely!

They have a separate station for making the gluten free items. While I miss sourdough, I liked their gf bread. I have eaten there several times and not had any problems.

I've had good experiences at this Erik's. When you let them know your order needs to be treated as an allergy they're good about taking precautions. The gluten-free bread isn't my favorite and it's a little crumbly, but it does the trick.
Yes
Their menu specifies which items are GF with a green circled "G" next to it, although it warns that there's a chance of cross-contamination. They also offer any sandwich on GF bread (pre-packaged Udi's). I asked them to make my daughter's sandwich on a clean plate so that there would be less risk of contamination. He changed his gloves and used a bread board that is dedicated for GF. My daughter is extremely sensitive to cross contamination, but she had no problems afterward, thanks to their precautions. We would definitely come again!
Really tasty sandwich, decent price, gluten-free bread upon request. Of all the places on this app, so far I like this place the best. I ordered Abbotts Habit and the Ross's beef tasted very fresh and it was nice and tender and the cheese tasted high quality too.
Yes
Had a fantastic sandwich here that is made in a separate space from regular sandwiches. Thank you for not upcharging for gluten free bread!
Yes
By far, this is probably my favorite GF place to eat and definitely one of the best Erik's around. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They never seem to be too busy for dinner which is nice and they usually always have plenty of seating. They know which soups are GF and they post a list of those soups on the wall so they can quickly refer to it. The GF bread is delicious and so too is the butternut squash soup.
Don't bother unless you either print out or memorize their gluten-free menu posted on their website. I didn't have enough signal to pull it up at the restaurant, and none of the three employees knew anything about a gf menu. They said, "We only have bread."
Super good potato salad! I never had any problems with it and the quality of the restaurant is great.
Yes
GF options clearly indicated on menu & includes a sour or two. Cashier specifically asked if my request for GF bread was for an allergy. Great to actually have a sandwich.
It is so hard to find a delicious, celiac friendly restaurant - especially something quick. That's why Erik's DeliCafe is so perfect! The menu is very specific, the owner and employees are knowledgeable and understanding, and the food is seriously delicious. I can finally have soup and a sandwich for lunch again, without having to sacrifice flavor or pay an obscene amount!

This place is not safe and I will not eat here. The manager is rude and doesn't care. Go to the Dublin store, they actually do care!
