Fantastic food! The gluten free bread was delicious. Had a separate person prepare the food and it was no issue at all.

I’m not celiac so cannot attest to that, but they asked if I was celiac or intolerant to decide just how safe they needed to be. I loved the toasted sandwich I got here - light years ahead of all other meals so far in Ireland :). It plus many gluten free individually wrapped snacks at the checkout counter.

Used to be super good for gluten free but is awful now. Because of cross contamination worries they’re gluten free bread now comes in sealed plastic packet and the staff are not allowed open them or toast it. So they basically give you the sandwhich filling on a plate and packaged bread separately. Bread all falls apart when you put it together cos it’s shite quality. Soup was still gluten free but personally, I’ll never go any O’Briens again. Not worth the price.

I had a very good soup and toastie combo at O'Brien's. I asked if they could both be gluten free and the sandwich maker confirmed they could be, and asked if I was coeliac. They then changed gloves and used separate equipment to make th toastie. When it was brought out to me the staff member said gluten free which I always appreciate. Very tasty, kind staff, plenty of seating.

After reading that O’Brien’s are usually reliable, and after a long morning in the hospital, I was really looking forward to a toastie - but I was informed that they were out of gluten free bread. No attempt to highlight other gluten free options.

Food was ok. Better off with salad and not sandwich. But sandwich was GF, and separate cutting board and utensils were used. Sandwich can't be toasted because of cross contamination. Allergens were well displayed, but staff was somewhat uncertain.

I've been to this O'Briens and others in Dublin over the last few years and it's lovely to have a choice of a gluten free sandwich with whatever toppings everyone else can get. The staff know me know and straight away change their gloves and get the gf chopping board out. Very friendly and professional staff.
I've never had a bad reaction to any of the gf sandwiches

Not rating but just wanted to say it’s located outside of security!
Gluten free bread. Staff seemed knowledgeable about celiac's. Sandwich was good. They grabbed a designated cutting board and clean knife and changed gloves. Was gluten free until she grabbed the mayo used with her gloves on for the sandwich and then proceeded to close and cut the sandwich with the same gloves that touched the mayo container- so cross contamination was there but the rest was good.

The soup was quite nice (but was brought out from the storage room and stuck in the microwave) but otherwise it was nice. Is pretty coeliac friendly and the staff had a fair amount of knowledge when asked “What do you have that’s gluten free?” I would eat here again.
Yes
I found the staff unhelpful and was told the bagels are he but are out into a toaster that do the regular bread so there is a huge risk of cross contamination also looked at the reviews and one poster seems to have been in every o briens i dublun on the same day with the same review of them all .
Found by accident. Had delicious gluten free bread, great sandwiches, dessert choices. Ate here twice, very accommodating for celiacs. Highly recommend.
Gluten free bagel was yummy. Nice to be able to order at a deli like a "normal person."
Staff take great care not to cross contaminate
