Falafel was great, and they have plenty of Gluten free options. Great food all around! Will definitely come back!

Ok...I had high hopes about Naf Naf because their website has a clearly marked allergen menu and only a few items are not gluten free: the steak, couscous, tabbouli, desserts, and pitas. However, there is absolutely no way that the food is safe due to the high and unavoidable amount of cross-contamination. The chicken is cooked on the same grill and right next to the gluten-containing steak. The falafel and Naf fries are cooked in the same fryer as the gluten-containing “chicken schnitzel,” a specialty item not on the regular menu. All of the other ingredients are so close together in the service bar that some cross-contamination is inevitable, and all of the tongs, spoons, etc. touch the pitas. If you’re just gluten sensitive then maybe you’d do ok but I don’t suggest Naf Naf for celiacs.

I wouldn't recommend coming here if you have Celiac. I spoke to the manager who was knowledgeable about gluten free, and directed me to go to their website to see their allergies information. He had staff pull food from the kitchen rather than the line (similar to chipotle serving style), but I still had a moderate reaction. Food was pretty delicious but too bad they weren't able to avoid cross contamination.

The staff gave me the gluten list after I explained I am a celiac. However they used the same gloves to put my falafel in my bowl as they did handling the pita.

Very helpful and knowledgeable.

The falafel is amazing! There are many gf options

Awesome food, clearly marked GF.
Yes
GF items clearly marked on menu. Don’t get hummus bowl (that uses the big bin of hummus & the spoon - it’s used to spread hummus on pitas). Everything is GF except pitas, couscous & desserts. The server changed her gloves. Fryer is GF. I felt safe eating here.
Yes
I had a really good hummus and falafel bowl here this week and will certainly be back. They have a clear list of what is GF and what is not, and most items are GF.
They had the list of ingredients available and sounded accommodating, but when I was waiting to order I watched them make other orders and there was a lot of cross contamination going on. I didn’t eat here just because I was nervous. If you’re not Celiac I think it’s a great option!

The staff is very knowledgeable about cross contamination and takes every precaution!! Great food, the fries are awesome!! Closed for business as of 2/3/17

Items are clearly marked GF. Very good, lots of options, no reactions!
Great place to eat, really enjoyed when I wasn’t restricted.
The Mall of America location of Naf Naf Grill was a great choice for me. They have an Allergen grid on their website, and most of the items are gluten free. I did mention i was celiac ask them to change gloves before making my meal, and they were more than happy to comply, even asking if I'd like him to wash his hands (which I didn't feel was necessary). i did avoid the falafel, as I noticed they serve that by hand and was likely cross-contaminated. However, everything else was served with spoons or tongs. The food was tasty, and the servings were generous.

I used to love this place but they have gotten pretty careless if you are celiac or very sensitive. Nice that they are knowledgeable but almost everything has cross contamination from getting stuffed in pitas. Got very sick
No
Surprisingly good! I had zero expectations and was with coworkers try to get something quick. I had a bowl with hummus/steak. The allergen list was on the counter, and helpful. Wish they had one of these in Houston, I’d be a regular.
Yes
Great falafel. Maybe the greatest. I always get the veggie bowl and sub out the tabouli salad for the cucumber salad. It’s reasonably priced and very fresh. If I lived any closer, I’d be there all the time.
Yes
Delicious food and knowledgeable staff. They have a chart handy which lists all menu items and possible allergens, and the manager informed me of all potential for cross contamination.

If you tell the staff up front that you can’t have the pita bread, some know and change their gloves, other do not. I don’t think it is very necessary to since they use spoons for your food. I wouldn’t get the fries, i had them once and had some stomach pain. Not sure what goes into the falafel, which is deep fried in the same oil and the fries. The food is delicious and i go here one a week for lunch. They also have a rewards program.
Yes
Felafel and steak are GF when served on rice or salad. Homemade fries are GF.

I love Naf Naf and have been to several locations. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Yesterday I was in line to order a beef shawarma hummus bowl. As I waited in line, I observed an employee making a pita sandwich. Using tongs, he filled the pita bread with beef, then, apparently having over-filled the pita, used the tongs to take the beef back out of the pita bread and back into the tray of beef!! I explained what I observed to the young lady at the register, and she insisted she beef was gluten free. I told her yes, it WAS, until the guy took beef OUT OF A PITA SANDWICH and put it back in the tray. She kept making suggestions about "I'll tell him to use fresh tongs". I told her it's not about the tongs, it's about the entire tray of meat that has been glutened! So disappointed.

Asked if they had any gluten free options and was handed a major allergens list of their menu including gluten. So there isn't a gfree menu per se but it was easy to figure out what I could or could not eat. Thankfully there are a lot of gfree options.
I love Naf Naf Grill and eat a few locations regularly. They are all more than happy to offer extra falafel as substation for the pita. But at this location the general manager not only refused, but was downright rude about it. I suggest taking the extra 10 mins to drive to the Lincolnshire location where they are much more accommodating!!!
absolutely love naf naf. their falafel is amazing. avoid pitas and you'll be fine!
While most items are gluten free, there is cross-contamination in their serving process rendering the food unsafe. When we went the employees were not knowledgeable and were unable to accommodate.

Holy cross-contamination Batman! While most of the ingredients are GF, all of the utensils are inserted into a pita and slathered on the bread. Unless you asked them to pull out a fresh container of everything and use new utensils, I wouldn't risk it. I did get a cup of soup since my non-gf husband really wanted to eat there, but they were way too busy to bother asking about other uncontaminated food.
No
It's a chipotle style middle eastern joint where they put it together in front of you. There's no gluten in the frier and you gotta try the fries.
Yes
Staff was well trained in safe gluten free service. Had a gluten free menu, dedicated fryer, and used separate rice and hummus to avoid cross contamination. Will definitely be a regular destination for us!

Very yummy. I had a rice steak bowl with tahini sauce. It was filling and very flavorful. The hubby and I split some falafel with hummus. It was tasty and the portion for the hummus was generous enough that we took most of it home to eat with chips tomorrow.
Yes
Delicious food that is Celiac Friendly! They have a printed out allergen list if you ask. Only three things on the menu have gluten (Couscous, pitas, And baklava.). Friendly service and very welcoming. I will be coming back again.

Great! Staff knowledgable and change gloves!

We are GF, DF, and Egg free. The only things we were not able to eat off their menu was the Pita Bread, Couscous, and the season for the chicken is processed in same facility as gluten. They have a itemized list that checks if the item has a allergy ingredient in it.
Extremely pleased with my experience. Quick food on the go. Only a few things that have gluten on the menu, including pita. Allergen menu online.
Most items are gluten free. Avoid pitas & cous cous. Chicken is probably best avoided also. But rice, beef and most everything else is good. Fries are also good. Food and service very good. Nice place, check it out!
Yes
This is a good gfree option. They accommodate me and change their gloves. I'm pretty sensitive and I do not get a reaction when I go here.
Almost everything is gluten free. Nice to have tons of yummy options!
Yes
Nearly everything GF. This is also a nice, quick option :-)
Celiac should be careful for cross contamination. The hummus spoon is vigorously rubbed onto pita bread. Be careful.
This casual restaurant had a limited menu, however, it's bc everything they offer is absolutely amazing and made to near pergection!!! The only non-gf items are the pita's and desserts. The bowl they offer does not leave the gf diner craving the pita. I had the beef swarma with hummus, rice the salad, and the garlic and tahini sauce and it was devine. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, I highly recommend if you like schwarma and falafel!!!
First off, the food here is very tasty and yes they offer many gluten free options. But this place is not celiac friendly. My wife was ahead of me in line and ordered a pita and the workers take the serving spoons and shove the ingredients (and spoon) inside the pitas. So while they were very thoughtful to change gloves and have the option for a bowl, there's too much cross contamination to recommend this place. If you're looking for celiac friendly Mediterranean, you're better off going to Roti.

Just about everything here is gluten free, even the falafel - only things not gf are the pita bread & the baklava.
Awesome options, Can get everything but the pita's. Even Falafel and chips are gluten free.
Yes
No gluten free menu, but they checked a list at the counter and told me everything was gluten free except the pita bread and baklava. Delicious gluten free falafel and fresh made potato chips, plus other Mediterranean fare (kifta, shwarma, hummus, lentil soup). Everything I had was fresh and tasty.
