Menu items marked as GF but not actually GF (shrimp and grits) according to server/cooks. Server warned of cross contamination on all foods. I got soup and so far not sick. At least they were nice about it and they comped my meal for all the hassle, but I would be wary of any prepared food based on conversations with the server.

There are gluten free options on their menu. Not a lot of options, but I had the pork and it was DELICIOUS! The staff is very knowledgeable and answered my questions with patience. I will definitely go back to try their other menu items.

The few gf items are great! Fun drinks and low key atmosphere. Have had no issues with cross contamination.

Had brunch here. Menu items clearly marked GF, separate toaster for GF toast, if you can handle a little cross contamination the potato cracklings are so good. Avoid the fries—they are “breaded” with seasoning flour. Grits with goat cheese were yummy.

Cast Iron skillet pork entree was phenomenal! The sweet potato bisque and the heirloom tomato and goat cheese grits were also fantastic! Gluten free items marked on the menu and safe was very knowledgeable about recommendations and alterations if needed.

Not a lot of GF choices, but menu items are clearly marked and they are knowledgeable about cross-contact. Foods that would normally be gluten free (e.g., Brussels sprouts) are not listed as GF because they are fried in same oil as gluten containing items.

There were limited options for gluten free at this southern cooking themed restaurant, but sufficient to make do. I did not ask about modifications or other options and just ordered what was indicated on the menu. What I had was very good quality and taste though. Ordered the cast iron pork which had great flavor, along with sides of collard greens and grits. Interesting cocktail choices also. Giving it less than 5 stars only because of limited choices.

Many red flags that I shouldn’t have ignored. Waiter didn’t write anything down which means he didn’t write down my gluten allergy when I told him. The pork I ordered came on a cast iron pan that may have been contaminated. He brought out macaroni and cheese on my plate instead of grits that I ordered. I’m writing this as I lay here sick :( wouldn’t recommend.

Delicious! I’m a celiac and felt very safe eating their shrimp and grits. Was also a fine environment to bring our toddler; not too fancy.

Not an extensive gluten free menu but they do have gluten free bread and can make many of their sandwiches gluten free.

There were a few gluten free options, but not a whole lot. I would say the restaurant is safe for those with sensitivities or intolerances, but NOT celiac. The green beans are listed as gluten free, but when they were brought out (after ordering and alerting the waiter that I am celiac) I was told there was a chance of cross contamination. I poked through them and found bits of fried chicken batter stuck to them, so definitely shared fryers. Our order also took an exceptionally long time (waiter forgot to put it in) and we were brought biscuits for the meantime with no other options for the gf individuals.
However, I got the cast iron pork which was extremely tasty, and had no chance for cross contamination.

Maybe it was the service but we did not have a good experience here. We mentioned multiple times that we had 2 celiacs in our party. When asked about the gluten free options for breakfast the waiter seemed bothered by us asking and said that the gf logo was next to what we could eat. Since none of the breakfast items had that specific logo, we asked since there is no logo there is no gluten free breakfast items and he said they could be substituted but there is a possibility of cross contamination. We we’re getting ready to leave and he stated 3 items could be modified gf. Of which we ordered 2 of those items with the substitutions and we still got sick. I would eat here at your own risk!

They had a few items on menu with * to denote they could be made GF. My partner who has Celiac got a salad and end up getting sick. No ingredients had gluten so likely due to cross contamination

Waiter was very knowledgeable. GF items were marked, but they also had GF bread to substitute for breakfast and sandwiches. The kitchen staff and GM were made aware of my restrictions and they made sure everything was safe. I had the avocado toast and it was very tasty!

Usually only 2 items are gluten free and every time I go they are sold out of these items. When I ask for substitute they can’t accommodate because even their chicken is marinated in soy sauce. Major cross contamination issues.

For breakfast, this is no go. Nothing on the menu. I had eggs, bacon, and grits that I'm still not positive were gf. Not a lot of food for $13. Waitress was not informed and did nothing to help me find other options. I've been for dinner and have found more options. Not for breakfast.

Menu was extremely limited— salads and one or two entrees. Staff was super helpful where they could, but all cook spaces are shared and hard to customize. Would not recommend for true celiacs.. I only ate sides because I felt they would be safest, and so far so good, but there was no good selection that I felt comfortable trying.

They have GF options on the menu. The staff is very accommodating with allergies. I had the trout and it was very good!
The ShaShuKa was sooo yummy! Waitress was great to recommend GF options.
Delicious. Accomodating. Never gotten sick.
Yes
Very knowledgeable staff. Said everyone was trained. Menu clearly marked with gluten free options.
Very good GF selections - chicken, fish and pork, plus a variety of sides. Everything was fresh and well prepared. I have celiac disease and have not been cross contaminated here.
I love the food here, particularly the shrimp in goat cheese grits which is what I always get at brunch. They do mark some menu items as GF but if you just go with that I think your options are a bit limited. However, I always just ask for what I want to be made gluten free and either leave the piece of bread that comes with it off or else substitute it with GF bread. Some servers are more knowledgeable than others but in general they're very willing to work with you. Of course the gluten free bread is not as good as the fresh biscuits but that's to be expected...they will bring you separate jams and butter too, but often have to be asked. I give them 5 stars because the food tastes so good and the kitchen understands about celiac and cross contamination, even if sometimes the servers need a little explanation.

This was the most amazing meal! EVERYONE was knowledgeable about Celiac Disease . It was so awesome to be able to enjoy a meal that I had no doubt was safe. The pork chop was delicious!!!!
Yes
The trout was amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Will definitely be back.

Very sick from eating here even after talking to chef and waitress

Has enough options it's good for a nice lunch. Brought separate bread out for me which was tasty.
Yes
I ordered a burger with a gluten free bun. The chef, being out of those buns, gave me a regular bun, without telling/asking the wait staff. I took one bite and noticed that it was wrong and spit out as much as I could. They later informed me, when I was halfway through my salad, that the ranch dressing was not gluten free (which I do not believe was listed on their menu). After both of these things and giving me food that I am allergic to, they charged me full price. I am just glad that this happened to me and not some of the other Celiac people that I know that have worse reactions. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Redid their menu and now they have gluten free items marked. There aren’t a ton but they do have some good selections.
Yes
Decent selection. Knowledgeable staff. Had a GF burger and GF Trout dish. Both very good. GF bread available. No separate fryer.
UPDATE: they now have an expanded menu with multiple items marked gluten free. It was so good!!!
The staff was knowledgeable about their gluten free offerings and the difference between gluten free preference and allergy. Shout out to Thea who asked the kitchen about a grilled chicken taco because I wasn’t feeling a salad. Didn’t get sick. Only 4 stars because they could use some more options.
Yes
Gf items clearly marked on menu and server was very knowledgeable about what other menu items could be made gluten free. I had the shrimp and grits and it was sooooo good.
Yes
Too few options for Celiac customers.
I met friends here for brunch and had the worst salad ever which was pretty much the only thing on the menu I could eat since I also have to avoid dairy. The server wasn’t even nice... just plopped the mostly romaine salad in front of me. I won’t ever go back. Not sure what people in previous reviews found to eat.
I ordered the spinach salad to be extra safe but I didn’t run into any problems!
Yes
The staff and kitchen were knowledgeable and helpful. I had salmon over maple honey roasted veggies and the nachos appetizer. Delicious!

Menu has changed. Menu is labeled but there are very few GF options. This location does any GF buns from local bakery. But yeah this place used to be great for GF and is now more of a corporate chain that isn’t GF super friendly.
Excellent GF food. I even got GF bread when everyone else got their biscuits so I could enjoy their blueberry compote. The waitress was knowledgeable, helpful, and very friendly. The sandwiches can be made GF. The menu is marked on the plates that are GF. As a plus I didn't get sick.
Yes
There are GF options including bread and meals. The staff is pretty familiar and willing to accommodate any way they can. Delicious meal!

Awesome!! The waitress was very helpful and they have udi's bread! Will definitely be back!!! Great food and great service!!
No Gluten free menu. Terrible place to eat!!!
No
Update: they no longer have a separate GF menu, which is a real shame. Several items that were on the old menu are no longer listed as GF. It used to be easy to eat there, but now it's a lot of work to figure out what I can & can't eat - even with a few items marked GF. And the servers ALWAYS a bring me a biscuit. :(
I've eaten here twice now with no issues (grilled cheese & tomato soup, and the shrimp & grits). Try their blueberry iced tea!As soon as I told the servers I have celiac, they immediately took it seriously. Their GF menu is extensive compared to so many restaurants, & their website says they're Great Kitchens Certified by the National Foundation of Celiac Awareness.

Atmosphere and food was great. They have a few GF options but can modify other dishes. GF bread is available for sandwiches. The waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Excellent flavors, knowledgeable staff, good service. A bit overpriced though.
Only one entree for dinner was GF. Lunch menu has more GF options available. Knowledgeable staff always. You can ask for GF bread instead of biscuits when ordering your drink.
