This place is usually quick and the staff is nice. I eaten here a few times since my diagnosis. The guidance regarding what does and does not have gluten in it seems to change constantly. They tell me it is based on the supplier of the item. I have never been sick after eating here, but I would stick with whole ingredients for your poke bowl only. They do not appear to take any extra measures to avoid cross contamination.

**Update**

This place used to be almost completely Gluten-Free (just the Krab and Soy Sauce Packets), but as of now... that has changed. Thanks to the wonderful staff for let me know that they changed management, and the new boss is ordering from different sources. Because of this their Spicy Mayo is no longer Gluten Free, and that may only be the start of their decline. They also used to allow the purchase of individual scoops, but now they only allow a 4 scoop minimum, at $4 more than you would pay for the same amount of scoops alongside a bowl. (The 2 scoop bowl is $14.50, individual scoops are $2.50, and 4 scoops is $14). The numbers don't add up. I'm really bummed. This has been my favorite Poke place for a while, but I'm losing faith in it's commitment to keeping people like me safe. This is all on the buyer, and high level management. The staff has always been friendly and professional. ---------------------------------- I started coming here a little over 2 years ago. I was informed by both the employees, and the management that all of the sauces were made using gluten-free soy sauce. The only thing in the house that is not gluten-free, is their artificial Krab/Surimi and the individual soy sauce packets.

Since this discovery, I've eaten here many times, and have never had a adverse reaction. That includes eating their eel musubi, with a oyster sauce. Sooooo good.

I was officially diagnosed celiac in 2015.

They employees had no idea what gluten was or what I could safely eat. They didn’t have a gluten free menu and said the only menu item I could safely consume was sesame oil…. We left and won’t be returning!

Went in here because of all of the good celiac reviews and staff was absolutely clueless about gluten. Really disappointed. Decided to take our business elsewhere.

The server who helped me was a little too flippant with her claims of "most things should be gluten-free" or "all sauces are gluten-free", etc. She seemed to know which things were safe but didn't understand why. I trusted her somewhat but relied on my instincts when building my meal. I did not have any adverse reactions!

Many more GF sauces than other poke restaurants near by. Can order the musubi rolls without sauce. Nice selection of toppings as well.

All their soy sauce is gluten free. Except for the take home packets of soy sauce.

It was delicious and very filling. They give a lot of rice. I’m going to get the poke on lettuce instead of rice or maybe half rice half salad.

The spicy sauces are spicy, but not hot. The spicy ahi isn’t that spicy. Next time I’ll get a shoyu sauce.

Edit: watch out for the unagi/eel. As everywhere I’ve seen eel it’s premarinated and cooked. So it’s not gluten free

I LOVE THIS PLACE!They were so accommodating. On my first visit, when they heard me say the word allergy, they grabbed freshly washed mixing bowls and untouched mixing tongs! They even double checked products to distinguish GF and unsafe options. On top of all that, the fish is fresh and tasty and they have so many GF options because everything is carefully separated as a part of their high standards. Cross contamination is something that must be very rare. They have different side options: Brown and white rice, salad, a vegetable noodle and different sauces and seasonings. They have a sesame oil and a chili oil that are GF and combined with your bowl made up order make for a tasty meal. and the people that work here really care about making your visit the best! These bowls are unique and beyond compare.Even for me with my allergy, I can walk out of this place with a full belly and a smile on my face! The bowls are tasty with the GF oils and hot sauce available, but bring your own GF soy sauce if you like.

EDIT 09/22/18: I was informed by staff that this restaurant no longer uses gluten free soy sauce, making all sauces unsafe for celiacs. Do not go here.

Notes: I went to this location last week and they have scratched out GF on all their sauces! The person I spoke with also let me know that they really couldn’t be sure about cross-contamination. Unfortunately this place is off the list for me!
