So good! I've gotten a wrap with a GF tortilla twice, the chicken Caesar and the bacon/chicken. I did not get sick. Service is great, carryout only. Can't wait to try their breakfast (gf pancakes, waffles, French toast)

This place was amazing. SO many options for gluten free. French Toast, Pancakes, Waffles, 3 kinds of toast, and wraps…. mostly anything on the menu can be made gluten free. Mike was so so kind and knew a so much about the gluten free items. SOLID OPTION and a fantastic go-to.

Delicious bacon and three different options for GF bread! The menu doesn’t list GF options, but the server said they could make most things without gluten. I enjoyed the French toast with GF cinnamon raisin bread.
Service was pretty slow, but I know a lot of food service places are understaffed at the moment.

They were out of everything! No gf pancakes, no gf toast, no hamburgers! Our food and coffee was cold. Definitely won’t be back.

Great little spot for gluten-free breakfast items. French toast and flapjacks were excellent. Gluten-free tortillas also available for breakfast burritos.

Went here for brunch and felt good about all the gluten-friendly choices! Some are marked on the menu and our waitress told us about more. Gluten free bread, cinnamon bread, breakfast burrito with gf wrap, pancakes, waffles and french toast, all gluten free. I had the waffles with berries and sausage. They were great. More cake-like than crisp, but it had been a looooong time since I've had the choice of a gf waffle at a restaurant. I cannot comment on if they have dedicated spaces in preparation. If you are concerned you will need to ask more questions.

I am new to the area and looking for GF Restaurants to frequent at. This is a must try. There is a great selection of GF both breakfast and lunch options. Servers are very knowledgeable and even offer suggestions! Will continue to be a customer as long as they will have me. I'm also Celiac and I am very sensitive!

Famous Toastery is amazing! Although kitchen space is shared (as dictated on the website), I am impressed with the precautions taken to prevent cross contamination. Food is carefully prepared, and all kitchen/wait staff are made aware of the customer in question. Staff were very knowledgeable and respectful of my gluten allergy, providing substitutes (bread, rolls) to meals and items prepared entirely gluten free (waffles, pancakes, french toast) Safety and comfort are of the upmost importance. I ordered the gluten free homestyle waffles, and they are to die for! I definitely reccomed this breakfast joint to all my celiac friends!

My wheat allergic son ordered the gluten free pancakes, fruit, and bacon. He had no reaction. We did not do the toast or the waffles based on other reviews as I didn’t want his food in a shared toaster/waffle iron. Omelets and eggs are also options. Everything here was delicious and the service was outstanding. They were also helpful in picking dairy free options for a dairy allergic child, if you are managing other allergies or food sensitivities.

We had a great breakfast here. My daughter has Celiac and everything was fine. She had a GF wrap sandwich and loved it.
Got the gluten free french toast! It was delicious! It's been years since I've had french toast!
Not Celiac Friendly. Risk of cross-contamination with gluten friendly pancakes and waffles. Gluten free bread and other bread toasted in shared toaster. Stick with eggs prepared in a separate, clean frying pan.

Had the gluten-free waffle that is supposed to come with powdered sugar and fruit compote. I ordered this through Postmates, and since it was being delivered I asked for the fruit to be on the side. The fruit did come on the side however it was a very sparse amount of fruit. The waffle was decent, had a bit of an odd aftertaste. If you order turkey bacon be sure to ask for it to be well done as mine was very soggy/sloppy.
Not celiac safe!!! Shared toaster for the three types of gluten free bread(really you can’t buy a separate toaster)! I was told shared grill for everything.

The menu has a disclaimer that they cook food in the same area as other food and they are just gluten-friendly. We were about to leave when the waitress came to our table. She said they would clean the surfaces and utensils used to limit contamination. We stayed and ordered the gluten free pancakes and French toast. Both were excellent and we are feeling fine.
Plenty of gluten free offerings, but the staff are explicit about the fact that they’ll take no steps to avoid cross-contamination. Definitely not celiac safe.
No
Poor service and not really flexible menu. Staff was not well versed. Messed up my daughters gf meal and had to wait 20mins more.
Have always been safe at famous toast! They have gluten free bread and pancakes and never have been sick. One thing to note that the gluten free waffles are in shared equipment, so I will never risk that.
Yes
Food was tasty. Kids had GF Pancakes and French Toast and I had an omelette. MIL had a GF breakfast wrap and enjoyed it too. **BE AWARE, according to staff and menu, they DO NOT have separate prep areas or equipment for GF.** Their GF waffles and toast are prepared with shared equipment. I was able to request a clean pan for our GF items but you MUST specify or they will use the shared flat top. I opted to not chance the toast and as I am very sensitive to CC, and I asked them to be extremely cautious. So far, so good... fingers are crossed as we are on a 15 hour drive back home now.
**Edited again. I ended up quite ill within a few hours of eating here. So disappointing.

GF pancakes, waffles, toast, wraps, bread :)

I have died and gone to heaven! Best gluten free pancakes with blueberries I have ever had! Great bacon. Crisp. Thick. Wonderful and friendly service. Great value. I have had celiac for twelve years and this place is well worth the drive. gF French toast and waffles too. The decaf is better than the caffeinated coffee.

The menu offers gluten-free items but does not cook or prepare these items separately.I had “gluten free” French toast yesterday and I was sick the rest of the afternoon.

Set up to accommodate GF diets but I’m not sure if it’s great for super-sensitive celiacs. Very chaotic and busy when we were there on weekend, with some food mixups, long waits, and distracted waitstaff who were clearly just trying to get thru the rush. My celiac son was fine afterward and enjoyed his sandwich, but he isn’t usually affected by cross-contamination. Not sure I’d trust, especially busy times, for the two sensitive celiacs in the family. There are a good number of GF menu options, though, which is nice for a family or larger group.
This restaurant is not suitable for celiacs. I tested the gluten-free pancakes with the Nima sensor and gluten was found. I also tested the sausage and gluten was found there too.

Amazing staff and owner Brian was very helpful. I have eaten here several times. He actually brought their new GF bread for us to sample and I loved and he sent me home with a loaf of their GF bread

I ordered the avocado omelette with gf toast and it was SO good! Perfect amount of food, delicious, and no cross contamination

The gluten free pancakes were the best we’ve ever had. They also offer GF French toast & GF waffles. We are not celiac so not sure if it’s 100% celiac friendly, but staff was fully aware of Gf needs
Friendly staff. Lots of gluten free options
This is not celiac safe. Their website even warns: “While we offer gluten-free products and gluten-sensitive menu items, we are not a gluten-free environment. Our kitchen does not have a separate prep surface, cook tops, or equipment to ensure gluten particles do not come in contact with gluten-sensitive dishes. Chefs prep and cook to order in common areas, and menu items may come in contact with other food products.”

Attempted to go there for gluten free pancakes a while back only to find they have soy in them. With all the options available these days, and soy being a top 8 allergen I just dont see how they keep using it!
I got the gf waffle and it was amazing! Good service, nice people, and good food. They have gf wraps for breakfast burritos, gf waffles, pancakes, French toast (including cinnamon raisen)... Lots of options! ❤
Many GF menu items, and staff seemed educated on cross-contamination measures. I ordered an omelette with fruit on the side, it was much higher quality than a typical breakfast joint. Delicious!
First time we went we had awesome service and they even had gluten free waffles. Second and last time we went we were glutened and not just a little bit, I’m fairly certain our waitress gave us a regular waffle making my daughter sick for months. This is the worst we’d been sick in years so it was definitely not just cross contamination.

I am allergic to gluten. I told my waitress this and she then told me all the things I could have. French toast being one of them. It was really good! I can’t remember the last time I had French toast! I had no reaction and I am very sensitive! They do have a note on the menu about the possibility’s of cross contamination.
The gluten free pancakes were delicious! The menu says they don’t have separate preparation and cooking areas. We did talk to the manager, James, and he said that he can’t guarantee there is no cross contamination, but that he and his team do clean, change gloves and take precautions. Because of that (which is the norm for many restaurants) I’m not saying it’s celiac friendly, but they do try. And they are very upfront about that.
The manager has food allergies so he is very serious about taking care of those with needs like ours. most everything on their menu can be made GF. I have only eaten breakfast. it was great. Not my favorite pancakes, but still good. great staff too!
