Gluten-Free at Ladle & Leaf

The servers told me that they no longer have gluten free bread and that nearly everything on the menu labeled as gluten free is probably cross contaminated except the soup.

GF menu items are labeled but they are not knowledgeable of cross contamination. I got a salad and soup combo that were both labeled GF but I think I got glutened :(

They had good choices and although I mentioned I was allergic to gluten they still gave me bread on the side. I would just say be very clear about your allergy and you should be ok.

Their gf salads are wonderful, and they’re super accommodating to Celiacs — just ask them to change their gloves! That said, I don’t know about the soups. But as a student at Cal, I’m so grateful for them as they’re a regular stop!
