I’ve been here a couple of times because they have a nice patio for dogs (including a menu for dogs). However, their gf options are terrible. A lot of their options on their gf menu are not celiac safe. I’ve only ever eaten a salad from here but thankfully have never gotten sick.
Service was slow and incompetent. My order was the vegan meatball vegetable dish and coleslaw. Both were yummy and expensive. My daughter got a Caesar salad with the same vegan Italian dish. Her salad came with croutons! Yes, we explained before ordering. She became very ill and I did get some reactions. It was not busy and staff seems to be irritated to deal with allergies š we were assured they understood celiac intolerance
Love the sweet potato tots! But still have mixed feelings about this place - on the one hand some of the food was good, on the other seemed overpriced and greasy. I mostly got appetizers (sweet potato tots, nachos, buffalo cauliflower). While I didn’t get sick from these (I’m pretty strict celiac), I did have a slight belly ache. Their gluten sensitive menu is super small and nothing else on the menu is labeled. I took a chance on the appetizers but I wouldn’t recommend doing that if you’re celiac like me. They do have a good selection of mocktails and drinks so that’s worth looking at.
This was one of my family’s favorite places to go before my celiac diagnosis and we still go occasionally. They have a gluten free menu that is available upon request but is fairly limited and doesn’t have any desserts. I do recommend trying their gf burger or seasonal soups!
Went to LD restaurant in Almaden Valley. I asked to speak to Manager immediately to get a sense of their protocols. They are not a gluten free facility and in fact manager seem to try to discourage me from esting there, but i was with a group and i pressed the manager for options. We looked at the “gluten sensitive” menu together and decided the cobb salad “should” be okay. She offered me “poached” chicken as a protein. I did not get sick, the server actually brought me my food and asked if it looked ok. Would I go back? Maybe, but it felt very iffy even though they seemed to be trying to accommodate me.
They have a small gluten sensitive menu a couple of salads, a burger, a bowl, and some sides. The waitress noted I had the gf menu and was kind. I had the Tex mex salad and asked to leave the tortilla chips off to be safe. It was okay. Chicken was boiled so lacked flavor but the rest of the salad was okay. Good place for creative drinks but not much for food variety.
A joke for a gluten-free menu there’s only about 10 things maybe total on it. Everything is plain like plain chicken, plain salmon, plain steak. No gluten-free burger, bun or bread or pasta. My chicken came the driest chicken. I think I’ve ever been served and somehow steam spinach taste badly. The mashed potatoes were good though. The price of the meal was $19.75 which was $1.50 more than what it showed on the gluten-free menu. That would’ve not been even worth mentioning had the food not been so bad. The regular meals weren’t worth the price although those didn’t taste badly. They were small servings for a high price. Definitely would not recommend.
I eat here pretty regularly. You have to be very specific. Their gluten friendly menu includes cross contaminated items. You will need to ask them to remove the tortilla strips from the salad and skip the tortilla soup. They always overcook their burgers and they do not have a bun. If you order the salmon and it comes with sauce, send it back because it isn’t gluten free. The safest option is their sweet and spicy bowl. It’s really good and has never gotten me sick.
Very little on the menu for GF and I was told the fries are absolutely not safe as they are beer battered, so opted for a side of fruit (which was hilariously just a huge slice of admittedly very delicious watermelon).
When the food arrived, the (as I had been told) very glutenous fries were laid directly on top of the burger to where they had melted into the cheese. I was there for an interview so I didn’t return the food which was my mistake. I had a horrific migraine after eating there which is one of my symptoms.
While in Fresno for a doctors appointment my husband and I had dinner at this restaurant because he really wanted a burger. Although they have a gluten free menu they do not guarantee there will be no cross contamination. I nearly always order a salad when eating out because it’s usually a safer option. Not at this restaurant. The food was tasty and the service adequate but there was definitely cross contamination. I would not recommend this chain if you are a celiac.
Did not have a good experience. Asked for a gluten sensitive entree off the menu and got something completely different and the server was really rude about it. Ended up eating what they gave me (grilled chicken, white rice and mashed potatoes). Grilled chicken was disgusting & super dry and my potatoes had random black beans in them. They did end up taking it off the bill without me asking but they were not very apologetic about it. Everyone else that ate was not GF but did say most of their stuff was not good. Would not recommend as they had only a few Gluten Sensitive options and your chances of being Cross contaminated are high. They do not have GF buns or bread either. You can bring your dogs and enjoy the atmosphere, so was very sad I did not get to enjoy the food.
They have a gluten free bread for burgers and the burgers are fine. Nothing else is labeled, no online GF menu, and no information on what is GF. Previously thought it was just cross contamination w the fryer but I’m pretty sure it’s just all the fries that have flour on them. I typically don’t have CC problems and still got sick. Unless you’re only eating a burger I wouldn’t recommend even that is mid-okay
Small separate gluten free menu.
Chicken with vegetables in the wok was very delicious!
Would not recommend for celiac. Chicken breast was terrible. Server advised to look online for what was gluten sensitive and was rude.
Had a wonderful dinner here. Got here around 9:15 pm on a Tuesday so there wasn’t a huge crowd. The waiter was quick to bring out the gluten sensitive menu and all of the mixed drink ingredients are clearly specified (not marked gf but you can look up the brand and type for each component if you aren’t familiar.) Emded up having the blueberry vodka cocktail and the salmon entree with spinach and mashed potatoes. The waiter marked the gluten allergy on it all and I’ve had no reaction since. Great food and great experience!
NOT A GOOD CHOICE. Limited choice and no attempt to accommodate.
Completely unimpressed. We ordered online for pickup, said it would be ready at 8:56pm. Our food wasn't ready until 9:15. I am a celiac and ordered from their Gluten sensitive menu - the Cobb Salad - they forgot the salad dressing and we didnt realize till we got back to the hotel and the cicken was tough. The rest of our party ordered from the regular menu, things were either compltely cold, burnt to a crisp or not made correctly. The "roasted corn in one of the salads was obviously canned corn. The beans on the same salad were also canned. Won't ever order again.
Popped in for a quick bite while in the area. Appreciate they have a gluten free menu. Hubby got the PB & J Burger and fries while I got the Sweet and spicy wok (gluten free). Both were decent, rice was cold so waiter was kind enough to bring me a warm bowl of additional brown rice. My meal was very sweet and not very spicy, broccoli was not fully cooked so ate around those raw pieces. Hubby's burger was cooked as he wanted but said the burger was just ok. Nice spot with a fire place which was unexpected especially in south Florida. Music was slightly loud but tolerable. Place has potential but need to step it up a bit with the food.
I order e.the chicken tortilla soup off the Gluten Sensitive menu. Let them know about my gluten allergy (I have Celiac). Soup came out with flour tortilla crisps on the plate and I ate a bite. Feeling sick. They apologized and talked to their food runners, and comped my meal. I'm disappointed.
Went to Lazy Dog for the first time ever at the Oak Brook location. No separate GF menu but items can be adjusted for gluten-free options (fries are not gluten-free). Fruit sub is watermelon only. They are able to wrap a burger in lettuce but there is no paper wrap around it so it’s quite sloppy. Just go with the knife and fork. The 8oz burgers are huge. Can’t be certain about prep area but we had no issues later. We will visit again.
I invited a party of 6 to have lunch at your restaurant. Our server was KT. She was communicative, professional and had a pleasant sense of humor. She made our experience awesome!
She represents your company with pride and dignity!

Fairly limited GF menu missing items that I can't imagine would have gluten from the regular menu (i.e. burgers without the bun were not on the GF menu). Server seemed to not want to discuss GF options with me - just plopped the GF menu in front of me. If you have to eat here, you could make it work. But I definitely wouldn't seek it out.
The bartender Toni was so helpful and sweet. She made sure I was taken care of and she also checked on me all the time and I think she is the best bartender I’ve ever had!!
I've been here several times and they do have a dedicated GF menu, although it's pretty small and there's not a ton of variety with GF menu options. Their burgers only come with a lettuce wrap, which isn't my favorite (I prefer to sub GF buns). No GF french fries either. I've had their GF salmon and rice and GF tortilla soup, both of which were good. Not my favorite GF place, but not the worst either. The atmosphere is nice and it's in a nice location, and they have food options for the dogs!
