Delicious pancakes! Do not fast gf at all. Lots of options available.
All pancakes had a gf option and staff were very aware of gluten allergies. The strawberry cheesecake pancakes were gf and very delicious!
First thing I asked when ordering was if their GF English muffins (also have never been somewhere with GF English muffins) are separated from other foods. The waitress responded by asking me if I have celiac and knew exactly how to make me feel safe! Everything GF is prepared separately and almost everything has a GF substitution option. They brought my food out with a gluten free flag, all experiences I have never had eating out. To top it off, the food was amazing!! Biggest, fluffiest, gluten free pancake ever. Tuscan eggs Benedict were incredible. So many good things to say about this place.
Absolutely wonderful meal! Jennifer, our wait staff, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and remarkably friendly. Those in my party without an allergy loved their food. You can’t go wrong! Highly recommended!
Absolutely the best gf pancakes!!
The staff was very knowledgable and the food comes out marked! The hashbrowns are also cooked on a dedicated skillet so no cross-contamination. Delicious!
Good spot for gf options. Lots of choices and knowledgeable staff.
We were very happy with this place. The staff was very educated and familiar with gluten problems. The food was really good for this celiac and my non-celiac family. Enjoyed pancakes, which I don’t get to do often. Highly recommend!
Amazing gluten free menu/options. Pancakes, hashbrowns. Very careful and knowledgeable staff!
Yummy! My food came out with a GF marker which always makes me feel better and the server assured me they would do allergy protocols for cross contact. They have lots of GF waffles and pancakes but I didn’t try. Would recommend !
Lots of GF options! The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and informative. They could make any of their fabulous pancakes GF. I will definitely go back to Urban Egg when I am in the area.
Great place. Got the garden bowl and Hawaiian pancake as side sub. Great food, very gf friendly. Pancake was labeled which gave me peace of mind, since the batter looked and tasted like regular pancake.
Amazing! Really allergy friendly and the food was so good. Hash browns and pancakes! Highly recommend!
Our server was amazing. That was the only thing good about this place. Started off with hot chocolate, which had very little chocolate taste, watered down. My mom ordered biscuits and Gravy and the biscuits were hard as rocks and sausage gravy didn’t taste good. My protein plate was good. My GF pancake was great. Hash browns with sausage and bacon was good. I would not recommend this location. Keep an eye on the total they show you and what amount they process, they automatically add in tip, they don’t show you that.
Almost everything on the menu has a gluten free alternative version, and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast food is delicious, and the portions are plentiful.
This restaurant is definitely open. Highly recommend for pancakes and other breakfast options. Non gf hubby loved it too. Great atmosphere and staff. Very safe. Delicious
Staff was very knowledgeable about gluten. Celiac and did not get glutened. Ordered a bourbon bacon appetizer for our group to share that was amazing. For main breakfast ordered the Rocky Mountain Corned Beef Hash. Skip the GF English muffin as it was bland. Get the GF pancake instead as your side. The stuffed French toast was not available as GF but there were plenty of choices.
Lots of gluten free options and the staff was amazing. They have a progress plan for seating approach for smaller parties 1 or two people, the option of a community table! Great experience and fabulous food!
worth trying but probably won’t come back. I got the cooked quinoa bowl, a side of apple chicken sausage, and the beet juice.
the juice was GREAT, the quinoa bowl was pretty good, and the sausage was super dry.
lots of egg options, which can be cooked in a separate pan, and pancakes (but those are cooked on a shared grill top)
I very much enjoyed the gluten free pancake options. I did not ask about cross contamination or anything so I’m sorry I don’t have that information. They have remodeled since I was last there and it was a Sunday brunch time when I went and it was Very loud. The rest of my group enjoyed their food. But the noise level would definitely be too much for some people.
Ordered 3 eggs with bacon, hash browns, and a side buttermilk pancake. Pancake came out with Gf label and server Tori confirmed the hash browns and bacon would be celiac safe before I ordered. Ordering with knowledgeable staff makes it so much easier to trust that cross contact is minimized. Everything was delicious. Menu had GFA label for a lot of items.
This place is very aware about celiac and they asked if I had any allergies which is really nice. I got breakfast tacos and it was so good. I will want to try the pancakes next time! I didn’t get glutened.
Pretty good food and gf clearly labeled. We got the gourmet pancake flight with a strawberry cheesecake (only ok), blueberry something (a little better than the cheesecake), and Hawaiian which was the best by far. The gf pancake base was one of the better ones I’ve had so I bet the classic buttermilk would be great! We also tried the corned beef hash with a gf English muffin on the side. The corned beef was awesome - the jalapeno bacon jam on top was incredible!!- , hash browns delicious, but the English muffin was… almost inedible. I hate to be that harsh but I’m pretty forgiving of gf breads and this one was just not good. I’d definitely go back to try other menu items!
I’ve gotten takeout from here a couple of times, and the best thing about it is the bacon. I’m not a big bacon fan, but I really like their bacon for some reason. I have only ordered the three egg scramble with spinach and mushroom, it comes with hashbrowns, and once I opted for the gluten-free tortilla and the other time I splurged and got the gluten-free English muffin.
There is an up charge of $3.50 for the gluten-free English muffin, PLUS an up charge of $3.00 just for simply marking it as a gluten-free meal. Obviously, that’s pretty annoying.
It’s all very good food though, except for the gluten-free tortillas. They come with the meal free of charge, but they are barely edible. I would either opt for the English muffin, which was actually very good, or just nothing at all in that category. Hard pass on the tortillas.
The staff seems well-versed in cross-contamination, and the gluten-free meals come with a gluten-free label pick in the food, which always makes me feel reassured that they got the order right and didn’t get mixed up with another meal. I do appreciate that.
I plan to get breakfast here, one more time before leaving town, and overall, I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.
After ordering, the server inquired about any allergies. I’d eat her for breakfast everyday if the prices would support that lol.
Such friendly staff and great food! Although I went there with high hopes for the gluten free pancakes, they far exceeded my expectations! I particularly liked that I could try a combo of three of their specialty fixings! I had a couple questions about whether certain things (the streusel topping and the chicken apple sausages) were gluten free and they were! This was definitely my best breakfast experience at a restaurant in the nearly two years I’ve been gluten free. Would highly recommend!
Really great experience at this location. Server mentioned that they clean the cook top when they cook GF pancakes and they get served with a toothpick in them to show it’s GF. I got the chocolate chip pancake with hashbrowns, eggs and bacon .. delicious! They have tons of options for GF and all marked on the menu… tons of pancakes!
Excellent breakfast! Knowledgeable server explained about their GF pancake batter and also that they have GF English muffins. When asked about how English muffin is toasted (I had ordered the Tatum’s Avocado Toast) she explained it is toasted separately from other items. My friend ordered hash-browns and server said it is grilled separately too. She explained how she made notes to chef about allergy so precautions are taken in the kitchen. My GF food came out with a toothpick in it to mark it was GF. Menu lists GFA (gluten free option available, as described above re: pancakes and English muffins) and GF. I did not get sick and I am very sensitive celiac (I react within 30 minutes if any cross contact occurs). I look forward to returning!
Excellent GF care & delish options.
So many options, so delicious! Our server was amazing and took care of my daughter (dairy allergy) and I (Celiac). She double checked our order with us to make sure she had it written correctly.
Used a Nima tester and both first order and a new order tested positive for gluten.
Great option for breakfast, eggs benedict was delicious! Staff is very knowledgeable about cross contact and GF items, which are also clearly marked on the menu. Many things can be made GF. We also had eggs, bacon and strawberry pancakes, all were delicious and celiac safe. No issues.
I AM OBSESSED! We are on the last day of our Colorado vacation, heading back to Wisconsin so we needed to get some breakfast before heading home. I have celiac disease and this place was highly recommended. I had the pancake flight and omg! You would never know that these pancakes were gluten free! So fluffy and flavorful, the staff was fantastic and accommodating, I seriously can’t say enough great things about this place! If you are in Colorado Springs and need some amazing gluten free food, check them out! They have a tone of options!
Cinnamon roll pancakes 🤤🤤. Best I have ever had!
